That's not just a vardo that's a piece of art and brilliant craftsmanship. In my opinion anybody who can't see the beauty in these magnificent carriages need their heads tested. It's only my opinion... May this beauty live another hundred years. Keep up all your good work.
This is the most gorgeous and intricate design. I could live in this wagon forever...When I was a child it's all I ever wanted. They've did an awesome restoration. 🍄🥰✌️✨
Fantastic there used to be a company here who hired out very similar wagons not sure if they still do however the decoration of these vans is a tribute to the handicraft and workmanship of the Romany people who travel all over the world thank you for showing this wagon it is superb
You are right, if a real gypsy owned our wagon it would be sparkling clean, but they would not let people go inside or allow a film to be made, it is hard to keep clean when over 500 people per day going inside it. We are so glad so many people like it. Regards from Cosy Rosy (wagon name)
Hi, I wonder why there is no bathroom and toilet. That is one of the important thing to have inside the wagon beside kitchen. I want to see the kitchen, bathroom with toilet build inside it.
This video is great reference material. In the early stages of my 3D/CGI housewagon from around 1900. I can't tell you how thankful I am that this video exists ^^. Also, beautiful work.
Hello, thank you for for your very kind words I am very pleased you have enjoyed this film clip I hope you will take a quick look at the rest of my channel. Kind Regards John.
If you would like to see the wagon before restoration Go to Face Book Romany Caravans, We are now restoring a Burton Wagon & will post more pictures on our Face Book page.Regards Cosy Rosy [Wagons name]
You have restored her beautifully. Made me feel very nostalgic. I have only recently sold my beautiful Dunton Ledge Wagon, owing to ill health and I miss her so much. I am not on Facebook - is there any other site where I could see the wagons ? Keep up the important work of saving these mobile artworks. Thank you.
It's beautiful well done! Curious about something though what is the tailgate red thing at beginning of video's purpose? looks like it may swing down to be a gate of some sort or to secure the decorative box ? Hmm

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Was it not typical to have cooking inside the wagon? Or a bathroom? Just curious.

I never saw a gypsy wagon this elaborate before. Is this an atypical one?
question, where can i purchase a wagon like that or the blueprints or who can build one?
How did they bath and cook?
