Beautiful Wagon Style Tiny House Built with Reclaimed Materials

- This tiny house was originally built to be a canvas-covered bow top wagon but was recently renovated to add insulation in the round walls as well as a metal roof. The woodwork in this home is absolutely stunning, with a custom standing desk, a curved kitchen counter, a sofa that converts to a bed, handmade windows, and an ornate dutch door. Caravans like this can be quite dark inside since it's difficult to have windows in a canvas cover. This is another reason why Nick modified the original home to have solid walls so that he could add dormers for extra light. The house has simple systems: it is heated with an antique wood stove, it's powered with a 110-volt panel, and water comes from a hose that can be hooked up to the kitchen sink on the outside.

the bathroom is probably in the back outside of that shed . he may have an outdoor shower too.
A beautiful little home.
I live in a small apartment built into a farm shop on my son and daughter in law’s small farm on the Olympic Peninsula and have never been happier. Of course I am spoiled since my son and daughter in law asked for my input when building the shop and apartment. Everything is built with an eye towards an older person, so I have handicapped accessible fixtures and design standards that make my life so much easier.

Wow. That little home just oozes beauty, charm, and superb craftsmanship! Love it! i really enjoyed the tour, in fact, I think I'm gonna watch it again - once just wasn't enough. Nick is a true master of his craft!
Did you notice it has no bathroom? So if he sells them I want to know who’s buying them to actually live in if they have no toilet at least? Lol seriously! It’s really cute and all but everyone needs to go to the bathroom.

When Nick said "I just grew up building forts as a kid", I knew this was going to be good. The round wagon vibe is what I dream about. The shape of the door, paired with the window, wow that is sweet. This is probably the best tiny space I've ever seen. Simply beautiful craftsmanship. Great tour - thanks for sharing you guys !

I adore this so quirky I hate straight lines so I would be in heaven living in a tiny home like this & in a community! They been decorated tastefully! it’s also in a beautiful setting too! I wish Britain would get up to date with these villages..
Now that you mention it, I've never realized straight lines bother me also.. Had no idea that was a thing.

Beautiful! There are so many things that I love about this, but I think the table, standing desk, sofa bed and other fold away pieces make this perfect. It has everything you need but is not cluttered or crowded. Perfectly perfect

Few "tiny houses" are as enchanting, and as perfect as this one. Few "tiny houses" I feel I could actually live in, but not this one. I know a bit about Feng Shui, not in the compass sense, but in the rounded shapes, no 'poison arrows', it is harmonious to the eye, and it must feel very comfortable always. And the decoration is perfect too.

I love it.I will be traveling when I am 62 six more years to go I went ahead and bought my Casita brand new and I also have 4 x 4 brand new I will be using it every now and then just to keep it looking good making sure everything‘s right but I’m so excited I wish I could do it now.

So interesting and "" awe inspiring "" ! I've never seen anyone add a porch like yours over the tongue of the trailer with a hinge that flips it up, when in the traveling mode. The conestoga wagon style of this home is so practical, because it is less materials than a traditional style square house. plus more appeasing to the eye. Great job Nick !! I have built magical things all my long life..... This house far surpassess anything I have ever seen ! The style , the color , and detail is simply fantastic. I roamed for 4 years after I left home.... I can imagine two young lovers living in this magical place. Pure class man ! I,m borrowing many of your great ideas .! " BEST" applies to this one.

Paulo, I was thinking the same thing. You can use an outhouse for a toilet, but how do you shower?

@@olga138 your teeth chatter! Character building! Romany wagons, which are similar to this one, never have toilets inside, in such a small space it is considered unclean. In a modern trailer of course there is more room.

If Nick had a British accent he might be confused with the young Mick Fleetwood. That would help explain the mystique of traditional caravan construction. Fleetwood Mac had that air of mystic travelers; of sorcery and witchery. Or, maybe that's what Stevie Nicks brought to the band. Anyway, Nick has that Mick look.

Nice build! For anyone thinking about doing a build...check out the cabin layout in a boat, the size you are building...everything has been worked out...a boat show for cruising vessels is a good place to start...many of them you can go inside to get a feel of living in the small space and yes they do have indoor facilities.
