      Honestly I was planning on at least doing a pallet wood floor and then I did the math and even that was too much work for me (I don't think I've ever said that before)

      @@JackmanWorks Hey man, at least you've found the limit. We built a freestanding pallet wood wall for our studio background and couldn't believe the effort. You take it into the abusing yourself territory haha! Still, absolutely amazing what you achieve!

    Paul this is one hell of an adventure that I can't wait to see, I'd love to have the barn as a workshop but here in the UK they are very rare in this style and when barns become available they go for loads of money and alway's get converted into homes 🏡.

      I’m curious too, looks like it’s around the Buzzards Bay/Cape area. If so, I live a few miles from there and might be able to help you move in and set up. Being retired Army, I well know the “fun” of PCSing every 2-3 years.

    Nice! 20 years military now retired. It's hard moving tools (try Alaska to D.C.. then overseas!) setting up the shop each time (pain). Looking forward to seeing your new setup.

    Add an additional I (eye) beam to the side of the current beam. Extend it out far enough so you can lift pallets straight up, then just swing them in.
