Liechtenstein's lack of trucks is less surprising than the fact it has multiple domestic carriers.
Agreed.
Man I hope he uploads soon again.
On the quest to cover trucking in every single country on this earth, even Liechtenstein is featured. Great little video.
I‘m looking forward to trucking in Luxemburg, Monaco and especially Trucking in the Vatican City.
Can't wait for the formula one going to the vatican state
What about trucking in Nauru or Palau?
@@sodorstorytellerppr6056 we don’t have enough Pacific related episodes. I think we need more definitely!
@@sodorstorytellerppr6056 Or Tuvalu.
@@brokkrep They would cross the country in about five seconds.
Being a fan of Liechtenstein is my guilty pleasure
Fun Fact: Since Liechtenstein only has about 4 football clubs, they are allowed to play in the Swiss Football Pyramid. However they aren't allowed to play in the Swiss Cup, but have their only Liechtenstein Cup. As they aren't actually Swiss clubs, even winning the first division of Switzerland doesn't qualify them for international competitions. They can only qualify through their only Liechtenstein Cup, for the qualification round of the Conference League. (So if any of y'all play Football Manager, it's an awesome challenge to try and win the Champions League one day, by winning the Conference and Europa League beforehand!)
Fun Fact 2: Since Liechtenstein has such a low youth intake of Football players, their biggest club's youth squads (i.e. "FC Vaduz U21's" or FC Vaduz U19's") are the national team's youth squads at the same time. So the Liechtenstein national team basically plays in Swiss Youth Football divisions!
This comment made me realise that for the first part of this video, I kept thinking of Luxembourg
Cool facts :)
Being employed in Liechtenstein myself, traffic actually does get quite intense in rush hour as thousands of Swiss and Austrian commuters want to drive home. Liechtenstein lacks public transport and thus especially cars on the road from Schaan to the border with Austria in Feldkirch often have to be patient when driving in the evening.
As usual, foreigners ruining simple things.
@@thotslayer9914 work.
They don't have much public transportation, but they do have a high-speed train that crosses the entire country in just 15 minutes. Not even the Japanese with their bullet trains can do that
@@HATECELL stupidest thing l have ever heard
It would be super interesting to see a trucking/overland transport video about the extreme polar regions, like Antarctica or Iceland
Edit: I mean Greenland, since you already did one on Iceland
He already did one for Iceland.
@@cerdic9 Oh jeez, I meant Greenland 😅
Not to burst your bubble but trucking is virtually non existent in Greenland. There are no roads outside of the cities and towns and are very remote and small in population. This means everything is shipped by plane and plane. Of course they’re are smaller box trucks to carry things around within the settlements but that’s not very interesting. Source: I lived in Iqaluit, NU, Canada for a year, which is very similar.
@@DanTheCaptain interesting! How was it in iqaluit
@@mattiazanni3086 Cold and isolated. You either love it or you hate it. I loved it (that’s not to say it was easy cause it was not). Internet was capped every month, outside the city there is literally nothing but unrelenting tundra for miles, the climate is very much extreme (living through winter is pretty much just trying to survive), and again you’re only way in or out is via an $1K plane ticket… That being said the nature is immensely beautiful and it was an adventure of a lifetime. I highly recommend going to explore the Arctic regions if you can!
My dad is a trucker in Austria, in 9 weeks he retires, he was a trucker his whole life.
Fun Fact: In 2011 You can rent Liechtenstein on airbnb for $70,000 a night, you have complete customization to the country like custom street signs, your face placed temporarily on their currency, wine tasting with the prince, sledding, carriage rides, and a fireworks show just for you.
Sadly nobody bought the country and the booking was quietly closed.
14 Days later, I'm still looking forward to trucking in Colombia.
I'm still surprised no one took them up on that offer. It sounds amazing lol and tbh for what all they were willing to do a hella good deal.
Fairytale, was a promotion. Someone tried and did not happen
I literally never once even really thought about trucking. Not even in my own country of USA. I mean sure I know what your average person knows I suppose. Long hours and that kind of thing. But since finding your channel like 3ish months ago I have learned a bunch. And the way you present it is actually interesting for something most people would probably consider relatively boring.
These microstates always fascinated me and would love to visit them all
Liechtenstein is super boring. There is nothing to see there
@Mattia Zanni agreed!!
I absolutely love your content, thank you for another awesome video!
Man, I miss him.
I would want to see a video about trucking in Poland. Though i think it wouldn't be interesting since i cant think of anything unusual when it comes to trucking in my native country.
And when talking about micro states san marino would be an interesting video.
I'd love to see a video on German trucking.
this is the epitome of niche and i love it
Congrats on 80k subs!
Nice video!
Can you do Croatia?
I hope you will do a video about trucking in Denmark!! :)
🚛👍
history on tow trucks next?
Next Sweden or Norway pleasy❤ And your videos it's so good! I like your videos😁🥰
Watching this video in a vacation rental in Austria, looking over to Liechtenstein.
@yukon can you please make a video about tug boats
are you gonna make longer videos in the future?
You should do Greece
Shades of your excellent old video about San Marino, although it wasn't about trucking.
I've once visited Liechtenstein while being in Austria, really small country, like 20-30 minutes is enough to go from Feldkirch to Balzers by car and it's really relaxing drive. I've only visited Vaduz but I plan to visit other towns there again, especially Balzers and Malbun. Also, roads quality 10/10, even better than Austria.
plz do trucking in tuvalu 🙏
Trucking in Vatican City should be your next episode.
😂😂
I work near the plant where the MB Trucks are produced in Wörth am Rhein, Germany. I see many trucks with Liechtenstein plates. Like way too many for that little country.
Are you really surprised to see that trucks have those plates, when Lichtenstein is a general tax haven vs Germany that taxes everything to death?
How about doing a video on what it is like driving trucks from one country to another in Europe?
As much as i dont really like my country i like your videos about trucking and would like to know what is it like compared to other countries or something because as much as i see all the trucks on the roads i dont really know anything about the whole industry, culture and infrastructure the whole trucking thing is going on around (in short plz make a video about trucking in poland)
Maybe do Greece sometime?
Do an Albanian trucking one, as a country without a modern railnetwork, almost all domestic freight is transported by truck there
To this day, I still fail to comprehend how popular Scania/Volvo/MAN really are. It's like they're the "Water" of trucking...
Everybody has it and nobody could go on without it.
Liechtenstein
Do UAE trucking next would be interesting to see a middle eastern country
I love this series!
Please do trucking in Hawaii next
I didn't even know this country existed until one of the guys in the car said 'Hey can we visit Lichtenstein' while I was driving through europe in 2019.. I said what the heck is that.. and learned an entire country is just sitting there haha.. Literally just one road though but its interesting all the same! I thought Monte Carlo was tiny, this place is on another level
Liechtenstein is small but not smaller then 1 luxury hotels/casino. You might be mixing Monte Carlo for Monaco. That is the microstate surrounding that hotel/casino.
Monaco (the country in which Monte Carlo is located) is just 2 square kilometres big. That means Liechtenstein is roughly 80 times bigger. Liechtenstein is definitely on another level than Monaco, but in the opposite way to how you described.
Do Norway next
Do balkan trucking
do ireland next
Nice video :)
Waiting for a video on Liechtenstein's booming shipping industry. 😂
Love Liechtenstein 🇱🇮
funny how this is the shortest trucking video in length so far
I've seen a tanker trailer ( yellow cab IIRC) with a Liechtenstein number plate while driving on the Autobahn. Twice even. Pretty sure it was the same truck ...
can u do next slovakian truck world?
“traffic is of little worry” dude its absolutely horrendous during rush hour. Mainly because of 2 reason: 1.) the schaan-kreisel which is the stupidest and most overcomplicated roundabout ever. 2.) liechtenstein refuses to expand its railnetwork which would take a lot of the commute of the roads and relief the traffic because Liechtenstein doesnt build infrastructure for foreigners.
Do the Malaysian's trucking please?
First to learn about Lichtensteinian trucks
Do swedish trucking
We need to go smaller, it is time for Vatican trucking
Hilti charging $3 for a wall plug is probably a quarter of the GDP
Do Mexican trucking please
Make a video about trucks in Jordan 🇯🇴, how they work with three out of four surrounding countries are full of conflicts.
I would love to see a video about Trucking in Turkey, my father is a trucker here in turkiye so yeasss xd
Go read Mein Kampf, little one. I hear it's a best seller in your strange country.
Short but intersting
nothing bad about this video, like always
Now do Vatican City🇻🇦
im a international trucker in europe for almost a decade only lichtenstein i wont forget i paid 700 euros for a very small traffic accident with car in a traffic standstill hit a small bumper scratch on a citizen of that country all protocols were made i have insurances in all for my trucks and said collisions as a trucker we have minor accidents in all over eu woth scratches to bent fenders but insurance pays it all in lichstenstein becareful of the police and its citizens! they will charge you with money and your case will go to court even with a few scratch accident! as a trucker i dont like going to that country anymore! 700 euros is not a joke! in germany even with a full wreck car with insurances your covered but in lichsteinstein forget it! a car bumper scratch cost 700 fkin euros!
Interesting...
Please do Poland
When about Poland trucks? 🙂
When the hell will Norwegian trucking come?🇳🇴🚚
I feel like China would be interesting to do, despite the similarities it would have with japan
Please do trucking in Saudi Arabia.
Yukon, do a video on the history of "adult toy stores" and "strip clubs" (wait, that wasn't a euphemism, why did I quote it?) aimed at truckers. If you want to. Please.
HILTI! WOOT WOOT!
This guy would go NUTS if he sees how trucks work in yemen 😂
Peak
nice
I went to Lichtenstein 11 years ago and we stopped at a Subway for some food. They had cream cheese on the menu which was crazy to us. It was a pretty good sandwich when I was done.
Can you do Luxembourg :)
no
I sadly must tell you that you actually did not pronounce Liechtenstein properly. The ch is actually ç in IPA, not x.
I think it should be considered the smallest country. Thr five smaller are all city-states like Monaco and Vatican city if im not mistaken.
Lichtenstein must be pronounced with the flem of a 70 year old asmatic smoker or not at all.
Very odd to see your work commute in a youtube video
hi
Japanese Trucking?
Licctenstein
