@@scottynic2894 I understand. I'll be doing my 4th jump tomorrow. I would suggest... If you can, get into a wind tunnel asap. It will help you understand the way your body reacts to wind. On a side note: I hear experienced jumpers saying they get nervous. I think it's natural. After all... we are hucking ourselves out of a plane. You'll be OK. You are with instructors a majority of the time. They will help build your confidence with each jump. :)
@@marcd4144 Hey Marc, great news 3 jumps already!!! I've booked and paid for the course since my last comment. I'll be jumping next Saturday the 19th there's just no point in putting it off any longer, if I did I know I would regret it. I might take your advice on the tunnel if i can get in 👍🏻
It’s a lot different than when I first jumped in the 70’s. A couple of hours of ground training then you did your first static line alone. 5 static line jumps, 5 hop & pops then you started free falls. Once you let go of the plane you were alone and on your own.
Hi there, just want to say thank you for making these videos! I will be taking my 4-day AFF boot camp here in New England this summer - so I'm doing all the watching/reading I can. Cheers!
ItsKevinDuh Congrats on taking the decision to join the skydiving family! And thanks a lot for the warm feedback. I have more videos to come so consider subscribing not to miss them!
Hey Kevin, I just uploaded a video about the different licenses in the sport if you want to know which one will give you access to what. ;) Check it out here: bit.ly/2G0UdHy
Thankyou for all the cool videos ! I have done a couple of tandem jumps and am doing another in 10 days time. Because of my age I need to get medical papers signed which I am going to ask my doctor in the new year so I can start the aff course. again thankyou for all the videos that I have been busy watching. 👍👌
Thank you Katherine Bernie for your videos. I will be going Skydiving in about three or four weeks. I am really excited! Every video I watch gets me pumped up for it.
My first tandem jump done, with the most fun and kinde pepole, and the quwestion came from them to get in to it and help yeah im gonna do that so i was looking for Some more info so thank allot for the info on you channel it Will be a perfect extra to help me to become in time a great one
At my DZ skydive the racnch in NY ( just started this year, first tandem and instructor jump within 2 weeks ) your first tandem is considered your level and 1 and level 2 is your fist solo. Is that unusual. They call it the IAF course. Still end up with a class a license after 25 jumps
Was there a waiting list for AFF? I signed up in jersey but long waiting list, have been waiting for the class over a month and not sure I even complete it this season . tx
iIm just curious, how quickly would you recommend (or require) people go through the levels to make sure the lessons stick? Daily, weekly, ect? Do they really have you do a back flip for the level 8 hop and pop?
No, you don't need to do a flip on your hop and pop. About redoing the exercises, I like to do them at the beginning of each season but after if you jump often you'll use them time to time so no need to practice those intensively. It's also as you feel it!
I see some AFF videos the jumper is required to do a front roll and other AFF videos where they only do back rolls....Do you do both in the AFF course or only one of the two?
I start my aff training tomorrow in sunny so cal. I'm nervous and excited.
I hope it got off to a good start, I'm about to book my course....still having to battle those doubts and fears though

Hi Again, 1 question, I want to print something on my canopy, how much would that charge? I don't see it in any skydive school price list..
You will have to contact a canopy manufacturer like Performance Designs.
I'm in the line
I want to learn skydiving so please guide me 🙏
I want to do this course so plz tell the location where i do my aff course.....i am from India....
Where are you located, DROP ZONE?
Atmosphair, QC Canada
What to do for tandem skydive er
I see some AFF videos the jumper is required to do a front roll and other AFF videos where they only do back rolls....Do you do both in the AFF course or only one of the two?
Some also do barrel rolls & learn to fly backwards and to the sides
Ok so now I have added skydiving to my bucket list 🙃 🙂
What price is Aff course
Is skydiving expensive?
Extremely...
It's expensive to get certified... After that, a jump pass and rental gear whenever you want to jump is reasonable
My dream to become skydiver but i didnt have money
did you seen my video i didn't pull 🤣😅🤣 i just posted now take look
Cost of aff course
In Amsterdam The Netherlands about 1250,- euro
Great video. Hands are a little distracting
