@@janvijayan6525 I disagree. Reeves is to guns what Tom Cruise is to jumping out of planes. They are both well trained and talented in their extreme hobbies.
He had to do over a hundred jumps before ever getting that shot of him skydiving in mission impossible perfectly. He had to do a lot of hours in a wind tunnel and go jumping two to four times a day. To put it into perspective getting certified requires you to have seven student jumps and 25 experience jumps. He did way more than that just being ready to do that one shot of him skydiving in that movie. So yes he is definitely a legitimate skydiver.
@@robertfitzsimmons9428 true, but it’s not like you can just throw someone out a plane and expect them to have a stable body position. Most likely they would be flailing around and shit and would probably cause panic. It may not be hard, but you certainly have to have some knowledge and experience to look as stable as Tom was. Especially when he would flip on his back.
I can’t imagine how the cameraman kept a steady body and hand trying to get those perfect shots. I think TV cameras are pretty big and heavy. So I wonder how he kept it with him filming great shots while jumping and flying all around. That must’ve been tough to have such a heavy camera and make sure you don’t lose it in mid air. Film perfect shots without shaking and still jump perfectly out of the plane. Props to him
The camera was most likely given to a professional skydiver that has recorded thousands of people skydiving (because a lot of first-time skydivers would want the experience on video, I'd imagine). The person who videos these skydives for the "tourists" is basically also a professional cameraman at this point.
@Ingens_Scherz I'm a skydiver... in fairness to the Tandem Instructor, James Corden weights a little bit, this makes it harder to brake as effectively, therefore the approach is to come in quicker so the chute has more lift. In theory it was a good landing...because touch down was soft enough and it was controlled.

And he will probably continue this franchise as long as he is alive, with 7, and 8 coming soon, I am sure he will reach till MI 20, or something, where he finally be promoted to Secretary of IMF.
I always wondered how Tom Cruise not have back and knee injuries from all the skydiving he does, but I understood after seeing that perfect landing, it was easier for him than most of us getting of the bed
I was expecting Tom to not open his parachute and land on his feet. Edit: WOW. Thanks so much for all the likes, people! Be nice to one another, don't fight. Tom would be disappointed.

He refused a stunt double in Mission impossible fallout for the plane scene he was actually holding onto the plane as it took off
Glad that James didn’t broke his legs with this weird landing
He did a perfect split
Plenty of padding. Built in airbags.
YES, IT WAS UNFORTUNATE THAT HE DID NOT BREAK HIS LEGS.
Osama Alsadani *Break
I died laughing oh my gosh hahahaha
James is so respectful and also a handsome young man. So glad he went above his fears. Tom Cruise is cool in movies but also in real life.
No one is talking about James almost broke his legs
Yeah, really gnarly landing. I doubt they typically jump with people with his weight
Aaron Bandari 😂😂 bet they’re falling 10 times the speed of a regular person
I think James totally blanked out and forgot his pre-flight training, and then didn't hear the reminder from the instructor as they're landing.
No instead he broke his balls while landing
@@frostbitepokin9520 mass doesn't affect free fall just drag and gravity.
Tom cruise skydives like he’s riding a bicycle
It’s not a difficult thing to do.

❤Hi...
Glad to hear from you.
I appreciate your support
Where are you watching from?
Why no body talk about the cameramen who's jumped with them, perfect shot acctually
It’s a professional skydiver cameraman
It could hv been a drone with a camera
I can’t imagine how the cameraman kept a steady body and hand trying to get those perfect shots. I think TV cameras are pretty big and heavy. So I wonder how he kept it with him filming great shots while jumping and flying all around. That must’ve been tough to have such a heavy camera and make sure you don’t lose it in mid air. Film perfect shots without shaking and still jump perfectly out of the plane. Props to him
Why nobody talked abt danny and how he flipped bec james had to split! Hahahah
The camera was most likely given to a professional skydiver that has recorded thousands of people skydiving (because a lot of first-time skydivers would want the experience on video, I'd imagine). The person who videos these skydives for the "tourists" is basically also a professional cameraman at this point.
The camera man is the real hero in this he just jumped without thinking
Well im pretty sure it's not just you regular cameraman from set.
They cut him out because his chute failed :(
@@bananen1234 ?

Fun fact: James Corden is 17 years younger than Tom Cruise
Wow
No freakin way???
Oof
And 17st heavier
Thats not funny thats sad
Tom Cruise's landing was special forces expert level. James Cordon's was special needs.
😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂
@Ingens_Scherz I'm a skydiver... in fairness to the Tandem Instructor, James Corden weights a little bit, this makes it harder to brake as effectively, therefore the approach is to come in quicker so the chute has more lift. In theory it was a good landing...because touch down was soft enough and it was controlled.
Anyone with the training lands the same.
LMAO
Props to the camera man for being able to film quality video while skydiving
I often think about the ones filming these and other type scenes - even in films - get no credit for having to go along to film!
Whoa. That's right. There is a camera person skydiving too :o
They get lots of practice because many people like to have their jumps filmed.
I do think the cameraman is actually a pro sky-diver or someone who's done this millions of times before. Just like the cameramen in the movie.
The T-10 Dropzones always have cameramen on hand to film jumps, so it's basically a full-time job.
the world really is tom cuise's playground, amazed he didn't fall faster on account of his humongous balls
Can we talk about how perfect Tom landed though. Wow.

I agree Tom did a great landing. I wonder how many skydives Tom has because he nailed that landing. I also loved James landing. This is something that James will remember for the rest of his life.
It isn't hard.
Tom Cruise is 2 years away from being 60 years old. Just think about that...
What 😕? He doesn't aged.
And still totally hot as.. He's like a fine Wine... Mmmm M!! ❤❤❤
Tom Cruise is 5 inches away from being 6 feet tall. Just think about that.....
I know... He was "old" when I was a teenager and now I look like his mother. WTF
Maybe he enjoys life and that keeps him young
Tom Cruise does all his stunts, this is prolly a normal day for him...
@Eagleeye Jones lol
It actually became a hobby of his
He doesn't make Mission Impossible for viewers or movies, only so that he can get some more adventure and sports in his life. And he will probably continue this franchise as long as he is alive, with 7, and 8 coming soon, I am sure he will reach till MI 20, or something, where he finally be promoted to Secretary of IMF.
Apparently, they did two jumps together that day, and Tom Cruise did one jump earlier that morning to check out the conditions.

The camera man is actually Tom Cruise himself. For Oblivion to get into the role, he actually just used Scientologies War Chest $ to perfect cloning, so he could learn what it would be like to interact with himself.
All of human existence is nothing more than a figment of The Tom Cruises imagination.

Depends on how you view pressure, I think. It's like playing guitar and singing at the same time; the more you do it, the less difficult it becomes.

He most likely works for the skydiving company. A lot of skydivers want to be recorded doing it for their families.
@@JesseLeeHumphry True
@Adrián Durán No. It is a professional skydiver filming the dive. No way someone who had never skydived before could take good video, cameraman or not. That takes experience and the ability to dive solo (which you can't do unless you have done enough jumps).
