    Such a well put together explanation video of AFF & perfect narration of it! Well done! Made me want to get back into it again after a long lull. I loved it & miss it. This video convinced me what I'm missing out on. I'm not living my life to the fullest & missing out. This is living! Skydiving is living! You won't understand that until you jump AFF! Thanks so much for a perfect video & being a positive influence on the sport.

    Great video! I did a harnessed jump last month, and am doing ground school and first jump in two days. This is incredibly helpful -- no clue a skydiver had so much control over direction, turns, etc. in freefall. But with that first harnessed jump I had no sense of "falling" -- it was more like riding a motorcycle at 120 mph. Wonderful sport!!

    Super informative, and it looks like a lot of fun! But I'll stick with paragliding for now, I like checking my wing before overhead before being in the air :D

    Mr. skydive;
    How are you guys? I had sky-dive once, I was little afraid but I did made it with the instructor. I want to go through the whole course. Where are you located at? I willing to travel and relocate until I am fully certified as a sky-dive.
    Respectfully;

    Makes me jealous getting to do freefall from the get go, im doing a forced launch course that requires 6 jumps with a harness that immediatly opens the cute before getting into 3,5 and 10 sec freefalls.

    Add in all the stuff you learn on the ground..You can do the whole course in one week...Just have money and time. When you finish.. As the rig itself is around $7,000.00 US.....

    I had my first tandem yesterday and I’m nervous about next weeks second tandem because after that my training starts. It’s easy to enjoy the ride when you have an instructor tied to you. It’s scary at the idea that any wrong movement as a soloist can have a huge impact on me. I guess it’s the same as driving a car. It’s not scary when you know how to handle a complication

    Great overview of the jump process. I've done a tandem jump at 13,000ft and was hooked right away. Out of curiousity, once you complete the course i'll be able to go anywhere and jump solo? And then how many more jumps and what must i do to become an instructor? thanks!

      Patrick Low the A license is international. to be an instructor you're looking and hundreds of not thousands of jumps

    • @Skydivejurienbay
      @Skydivejurienbay  7 лет назад

      After completing the AFF course you need to do a few more (5-10) to demonstrate your accuracy under canopy, and if all is good the chief instructor can sign you off for your A license. Only once you have an A license will you be able to jump at other dropzones solo.

      It can take 3 days, it can take 3 weeks. Depends on how fast you want to do it and how favourable the weather is to you!

    I was under the impression that pointing in any direction with your index finger means pull main canopy. A thumbs down means arch harder.

    After lifting off the aircraft into the air, the falling rate is 90 feet per second.... the video showing the people is floating and spinning.... No. They are not floating in the air, but they are dropping toward earth at the speed of 90 feet per second.
