    Update: I sold this sawmill after using it only a few times. It is not practical, easy, or fun to use. The installation guide had many typos and errors. Several parts were missing when the sawmill arrived and it took 2 years to receive them. Overall I am not impressed with Norwood and would NOT buy another one of their products.

    I don't know where you live, but lumber prices around here have gone to the moon again. These little mills are looking more attractive every day.

    I have no use for one of those but I bet it would be fun to put my 61 husqy on it and cut some lumber.

    So now that you’ve had this for a while, what are your thoughts? I just bought one, and now that I’ve started using it there’s things I think could be improved

      I wouldn't recommend buying one of these unless you have a very remote place you'll be cutting. Invest in a real band sawmill. These portable chainsaw mills are a ton of work! And I'm not impressed with Norwood.

    Do you have to unmount the saw to change the saw blade?

    How long are those logs if I may ask?
    Nice place you got there.

      They are just over 7 feet long. I'd have to buy another rail extension for the sawmill if I wanted to cut anything longer. A bit annoying

    between the cuts remove the sawdust with a battery leaffblower, to keep it clean , while you are working !!!!!! and after you finish the day as well , ......is advisable!!

      The standard kit can only cut 7' logs. you would need to purchase rail extensions for longer logs

    Il faudrait toujours compenser un peu le fin bout à l'attaque pour faire du meilleur travail et tirer parti au maximum sans gaspiller de bois ! mis à part ça la tronçonneuse est trop faible car c'est un peu la mort lente !

      In this video I was using the new Echo CS 4910. I have since bought a 92cc Holzfforma G660 chainsaw with a ripping chain. I have used that bigger saw with the mill once and it does good, it just goes through a tank of gas every 1-2 cuts.

    Were you using a ripping chain it seems very slow going

    • @devinleonarduzzi
      @devinleonarduzzi  3 года назад

      It was not a ripping chain. But I just bought an Oregon ripcut chain and am happy with the results
