Fantastic explanation! I have watched so many videos about Marmalead and I always come away confused. I am going to try your method. How long does it take for listing updates to take effect ? (I am in the process of using Marmalead to update my titles, tags, description etc.).....also, which would you say is the most important.........'searches' V 'engagement' V 'competition' ?

Never update and existing listings title or tags. It will hurt it even if the new tags are good. If the listing wasnt doing good before, it has a low conversion rate. Now, with new tags, the algo has to find a new spot for it, and even with better seo, it will likely sink lower! Make a copy and put new seo there

This is super confusing marmalade had things I put in so wrong it said sticker was searched 25 times that’s it WRONG

Bit surprised how tedious marmalead is, and the amount of legwork it makes you put in given the fact it is supposed to give you an edge - much of it could be semi-automated and algorithmically optimised, seems like it's an idea that has only gone half the distance it needs to go.
Interesting thought! Sounds like youre spolied by AI tools haha. I agree it could be upgraded a bit in terms of doing more work for you. But you will always have to work and apply yourself.
