Your the only Etsy coach I found that says it’s okay to use a search term with red competition. I think it’s because they think you have no chance of being found when going up against established stores. But I think they aren’t teaching newbies to be patient. Thank you for your knowledge. Long tail isn’t just the number of words but includes a frequency of use factor. For example, Gift For Mom and Ugly Christmas Sweater are both short tail because they are often searched.

You don’t really talk about a preference for long or short tail key words like others do. Do you factor that in or just hobby green green red etc?
Hi. Is it ok to have short focus KWs like in your video? Because one of marmalead's grading criteria is based on having 100% long tail focus keywords
