I to have an etsy store: I have been noticing that most of the buyers, have been with etsy for years, and they have grown accustomed to buying from the sellers that they have been doing business with from the beginning. I understand this, because we are "creatures of habit". They have gained their trust. The new like myself, haven't earned their trust, maybe in time. This is why I think that my sales are low; if I had known this a few months ago, I would have left etsy. I thought that it would be different.
Excellent video. Thanks. Great point about removing the background on popular mockup photos. I do that and often use Canva to add a different background or just a color background. I often also flip or mirror the image to hopefully help dodge rogue bots.
Hmmmm. I don't know man, I get the feeling that most people just want cheap crap. I have Seo"d my listings, upgraded videos and main images, have an absolutely unique products and......Nothing! Hell, I even took an 8 week extensive training course on this business at $1000. No sales, very limited click through, if I spend on Etsy ads I get a bump but not worth the dough. So now I'm trying POD and following the cookie cutter program so I look just like everyone else and still I get the same results. I think I need a horse shoe over my door or a rabbits foot, maybe a lucky penny. Lol......Great video sir, thanks for the info.

Great video. I never heard of this site. How about a video on digital downloads, like junk journal kits. My videos are basically just photos of the kit in video form. I need help. ❤ SayessDesign

Interesting theory. But its not the case. Millions of buyer accounts have been added in the last few years! New stores can do great still. 👍
