As soon as I start thinking this way....items that have been invisible get favorited. Your video makes sense to a certain extent if you want a better conversion rate, but most ETSY gurus will tell you that you need to have as many listings as possible. I'm hovering at a 1.7% conversion rate for the year. The issue is that my site doesn't get enough traffic for more sales. I think revisiting listings and trying to figure out how to get more traffic to those listing would be better than de-activating listings. Most of the Etsy guru's I've watched talk about logging in everyday and being active in your store. Etsy 'used' to like that. I guess my point is that you'll never know when a customer is looking for your item - if you deactivate it, you'll never make that sell.

My conversion rate last month was 17.6%. I list new stuff regularly, get rid of the dead listing's, have switched on ads and yet still my sales have stopped almost entirely.

Thank you, I needed to hear this. I’ve got over 70 products in my Etsy shop - the majority of them are one-off non- repeatable clothing items. I intend this year to update the listings each in turn, and hope to see an increase in sales!

I'm kinda new to etsy (not amazon) but as I have a lot of micro niche products I set them to not auto renew after 4 months. Each one takes 20 minutes ..ir less to produce. Has a small but very targeted search term relevancy .Basically be ause of the nature of what I'm producing via POD it's putting them out - letting the ones that don't sell after 4 months not renew, Improving product designing according to what is starting to sell and then occasionally going through expired ones and seeing if some deserve a 2nd chance.
May not be the most profitable of all approaches but its starting to work and actually seems in line with what you're saying
Or have I missed ao etching?
    - list
    - adjust improve
    - older lustings removed
    - adding new continuously (well.. with peaks and troughs )

I usually will determine an item is DCW'ing after 9 re-ups. Or if it has never sold (dups). It sounds like re-upping just creates items that are DCW. Do you have any suggestions for this? It's a Vintage Advertising store with over 400-500 listings (and up to 700 at some points)

No do it slowly. Like 5 a day. You actually ideally want to replace them too. Unless the products totally suck, its likely just the listings title, tags, and thumbnail causing poor performance.

Thank you for your valuable video and advices:) I'm just wondering what to do when I launched a new store in February, and various people's opinions are that it's very good, I see that many stores sell similar wall art successfully. I started in February, I have 124 products and 11 sales. Virtually each of my products has 0 views, although I also created SEO and descriptions based on trends. I don't know what to do now, should I delete the products that have 0 views, what should I do? I'm sure they're of good quality and on par with the competition, but still 0-1 views. I will be very grateful for your advice
