I have to say it was your video that I watched before listing my products on Etsy for POD and I finally made an organic sale yesterday 🎉🙌🏽. Yes, I’m new and I didn’t spend money on ads. It was the SEO keywords that allowed the customers to see my products from google.

I have a question about choosing the right words and arranging them in the way you show in the video. Do you search for these words using platforms that track which of them are searched for and then arrange them in such a way, or do you come up with words yourself and search for specific phrases?
I've done it for so long now, it's second nature but you can definitely use something like the free version erank if you need help getting started!

Thanks for the video. Would it be better to delete current listing and repost it again implementing your SEO strategy? I was thinking because the current listing has been there for so long with no sales, it might be better to delete it and repost if again so etsy gives a little boost to new listings. What are your thoughts? Do you think it makes a difference between posting a new listing with new titles/SEO and just edit the title/SEO from current listing?

Hey Dylan, nice video. I have a question. How do you know the multiples long tail keyword strategy for titles works? I can’t find it anywhere in the documentation of Etsy. Doesn’t the algorithm use broad matching instead of exact string matching for search queries? Whenever I use the Alura SEO optimiser it recommends not repeating any keywords in the title. Would love to hear from you!

Thoughts on dividing keywords with bullet points or bars? Does it hurt, help, or neither? Simply a preference or does Etsy look at it differently when it's divided up?
On the title it will hurt the search-ability because you are limiting the longtail keywords
How to use seo for description(the area where we mention about product size, quality, and what they get) does it also helps in ranking on ETSY

i've recenelty been doing this SEO stratergy for my listings but it is very time consuming to try to organise all the words to create multiple long tail searches. Is there a way of doing this that's more time efficient or does it just take practice?

Is this stratregy also perfect for niches? Or it is better to use a combination of long and short tailed- keywords in this cases?

Hey Dylan, seeing this video 3 months old now, just wondering if the now "all-new-gifting-mode" Etsy seems obessed with, changes your thoughts on - "gift for..."? I am seeing a lot of top results that have that included in some manner of SEO, tags, titles...?

What are your thoughts on titles for cell phone cases? I see a lot of people do something like iPhone 15 14 13 12 11 SE XR Mini Pro, Plus Max. To me it just seems all over the place but maybe it works?

hmmm That must be frustrating. Keep refining your keywords and titles, and try enhancing your photos and descriptions to boost your visibility.
Doesn’t the Etsy Seller handbook advise against all of this?
It doesn't recommend it, but in the 7 years I've been selling and the nearly 2000 students I have taught, it has always yielded better results and no issues as a result
Isn't this title, like Etsy said, " this kind of title might be difficult for a buyer to understand at a glance"? just asking, people say different things and I dont know what to do :D

Yes! But sometimes Etsy doesn't care
I have nearly 2000 students and over 7 years of Etsy selling and have never had an issue!
