Try clicking on the small body and just press delete. Much simpler than making a sketch and extrude cutting. Also the fillets are probably just too big. Any of them that will not compute will show in red.

Hi thankyou for the tutorial! Im stuck at 10:33, intersection curve wont create on the right side. I have the left one and the top one, but I get error when attempting the right side segment and the newly created plane. Any help would be fantastic if you have the time.
I have the same problem. I use mirror for the right side and it creates the right vertical line that I need. I understand the tool for projecting on the curve. But what I don't understand is why he deleted it and used another project tool 11:13.

@@jumbo999614 Could you please elaborate on this? I am stuck at the same place and unable to create the other intersection curve.
@@YourRoyalHenry I was able to create intersection line on only one side. So instead of repeating the process, I use mirror feature of Fusion 360 to create another.
I think the other half was created by using mirror copy (5:52) that's why you can't create intersect curve on a mirror.
Try to create another half manually. Then use intersect curve on it.
@@jumbo999614 Ah alright. I actually did try that, but it wasn't allowing me to mirror it either

As per me Catia is best , but it's too expensive that's why not much firms could afford it.
Solidworks is vastly used , fusion is new

Hi, Great tutorials. Helped me learn a lot.
But with this tutorial I am having difficulties.
At 9:25min
I cant make an intersection curve, it gives me an error.
Only thing I can intersect is lower left and right curves with the one in the middle in the XY plane.
I cant intersect any of them on the origin plane or the offset plane.
If I intersect middle curve with the origin I get a line where it is supposed to show but it is only 76mm and 90% of this line is on the left side from the middle curve.
May be you are doing something wrong, it's hard to tell just by ready this
@@SPARKPLUG98 So I tried to simplify things.
I made a new project with a circle of 100mm diameter from the origin on the botom XZ plane.
Then I made a 100mm circle from the origin in right XY plane, Like for your helmet only simple shape to test what I am doing wrong.
Split the bottom circle in two arches, and one arch over them in the middle.
So I have sketch one with two arches making a full circle, and a second sketch in other plane making a half a circle in the middle.
Made an offset plane, and when I try to project/intersect left or right arch in the bottom plane on to the offset plane, it gives me an error.
Dont know what I am doing wrong.
Don't use. Project , use intersection curve.....the 3rd option...... select the curve and the plane , that's it , simple.
May be you should share me with a screen recording of what u actually doing
Same here. Intersection works on 1 side but not the other. I kept trying many times then gave up.

Make the fillet , in the whole circular profiles before making that sweep cut
@@SPARKPLUG98 i tought about it but : to make the sweep comment first we drew a sketch on it we did intersect for the project line so actually that it the only line that exist before the sweep comment ---- so i still no get wht is the " whole circular profiles" ?
