Texas's foster care system is the worst in the entire country. The supreme court has told them to fix it multiple times but they refuse to. It really sucks that this is the reality for so many children

To add to their message to the world: Be patient, good things come, but also you can't simply wait for things to happen. One part of those good things coming is also working towards them.
The system is shit, some get lucky some don’t. I got lucky. I was adopted within a month of my birth. I was put up for adoption immediately after my birth, by parents who already had kids, and it was in Panama City, FL. There are so many I have heard of people looking for kids to adopt and they look to china or some other poor country, but we got kids here in the States who are in need of a Family who wants them.
What makes it even more sad is the fact that there's more untold stories of real children who's suffering the same struggle may it be being in a poorly managed foster care, bad upbringing or both. Please don't wait till someone decides that there should be a mandatory test to get a license to breed. Learn and make sure to be ready of being a responsible parent or don't be a parent at all. I have to emphasize the word "responsible" parent because it is a serious commitment that if we fail to do so, it will cost more than ruining someone's life, but also adding another pressure on the entire society. It may not look obvious, but everything and everyone is connected to each other. A neglected, abandoned and abused child will become a burden to the foster care system, eventually they'll grow out in a poor environment (because foster care can't afford more children) into an adult who suffered trauma which will possibly put their life in a worse situation if not a repeat of their cycle. This will mean overwhelming foster care systems and orphanage, lack of care and education will eventually also overwhelm mental institutions and jails someday because these children who'll grow up someday are turning into other places, sometimes in a bad way such as getting involved with drugs and/or crime. Ofcourse, not everyone get on this path, but still, the chances of these things happening will be lowered if people would take parenthood seriously. Foster care should only be for children who have dead parents that doesn't have anyone to lean on to. Everyone else deserved to be cared by their own parents and with a better quality of living. No child deserves being an orphan because of problematic parents. i will adopt the day i am ready for kids. i have horrible relation to my biological dad, and amazing with my stepdad. its bs that biological relation is better
This almost happened to me. Some neighbors threatened to kill my dad and have me taken from my mother. He was VERY bad news. She left. She at least had some sense.
The foster system is screwed, especially in Arizona where I live. Jan Brewer gutted DCS as like her last action as governor bc she was afraid a democrat was gonna win the election and she wanted to make as big a mess as possible so she basically gutted as many services for working class families as possible. Now the foster system in AZ is basically just child trafficking. The shelters are overcrowded like prisons with too little social services and kids turn up missing. I know this because I used to work with at-risk youth and DCS was like this dreaded thing and a fate we tried so hard to protect our students from but they have no power and they’re so young and fearful sometimes the kids would do stuff on purpose to get out of their abusive homes thinking foster would be a step up. Y’all, we are a lost society :’(
What the fuck is wrong with the people who work at these foster systems? Why are they so cruel? What is in their hearts that makes them want to abuse children as a profession?
I’m gonna get a big house and make a great foster home for any kids or anyone and hire my friends and family members cause I trust them also if a kid is rude to another kid say like no desert or sit in the corner something like that

Y’all, we are a lost society :’(
You can really show how strong a society really is in the way they treat their weakest members...
This is why abortion shouldn’t be tampered with. Too many kids left in the system no better than if they were alone
I am fucking fuming over this..
Never thought id see the day Rose Lalonde starred in a Syrmor video
You need to re upload and put the name of this place in there.
What the fuck is wrong with the people who work at these foster systems? Why are they so cruel? What is in their hearts that makes them want to abuse children as a profession?
Orphans living in 3rd world conditions
*defense budget increases*
seems interesting, can't wait to see it entirely!
The subtitles. My head. It hurts! (the story is heartbreaking though)
THIS CHANNEL HAS TO STOP MAKING ME FUCKING CRY I AM A BIG STRONG MAN
homestuck jumpscare
This is opposite side of the coin to the breaking bad story.
The negative consequences and ripple effects.
Awesome video again @syrmor!
Thanks for these videos.
Damm rose that’s tough
Anybody who says they are against abortion is morally obligated to adopt
The ones against it are already running the orphanages
I agree with you but then the amount of children pro life people raise will go up which I view as a very bad thing
@Navi42714 why?
damn that hit hella hard....
BRUH, they sat on me too.
Almost died 🙃
Bless this soul.
This one hit really hard for me.
Weird how the pro-life states are never that big on funding the foster and child care systems.
This is why i am adopting a older child in Foster care
Listening to her story gives me ptsd flashbacks...
I would like to have the old outro back :(
Thanks for the video
My heart breaks
I didn't think I would stay for the whole thing....
I’m gonna get a big house and make a great foster home for any kids or anyone and hire my friends and family members cause I trust them also if a kid is rude to another kid say like no desert or sit in the corner something like that
What if they dont listen, all gang up on you verbally, etc
@@mimszanadunstedt441 What is that even supposed to mean?.. What are you even trying to advocate for?
@@Nepgearaf People shouldn't bite off more than they can chew.
@@mimszanadunstedt441 I just don't get being pessimistic about someone wanting to have a dream to do something good in the future. To each their own. I just think there's already enough negativity everywhere.
@@Nepgearaf yeah well i was raised from someone who shouldnt have had kids but wanted them, feel like 20 years of my life were wasted and cant even support myself yet. Its more complex than just that tho. But yeah if you want less negativity just avoid the news or debates. There is such a thing as toxic positivity tho. I don't want someone to, half way into their commitment, get second thoughts then shaft everyone, or over-commit then be depressed and ruin everyones life by extension of refusing to get good therapy. And what will they do if they can't afford anything for them? What if its too much people to handle? Gonna just accept any volunteers? Need to do background checks. Etc. Its not easy, maybe they can do something intelligently yeah. In which case good on them. But like, its possible it could end up worse also. To ignore that potential is to do a disservice to yourself and them.
"Oh, y'know 'they turn, they burn'" "wishing and praying" holy hell.
Insane to see politicians so incensed about social justice topics like pronouns or transsexuality, when there's real actual problems in the real world that need to be solved.
These kids were literally abused while they're in a vulnerable position, but advocating for change about that doesn't get you many votes i guess
"They turn they burn" lol
I'm so ready to watch this!
I don't like how the subtitles jump at you. It's very distracting and makes them more difficult to follow.
