I find it interesting that you thank the military for saving you life and getting you out of a drug and gun filled city. I'd be more angry at the politicians and police for not being able to improve that city to be safer. You're talking about almost dying as a soldier for the chance of not dying in an unsafe city. What the hell are people in charge doing if those are the options you have?

Hahahaha! My flight to Iraq was stupid! We had a lay over in Newfoundland. This plane is twisting 180 to 180. The wing is so close to hitting the ground.
I was so pissed, I'm about to die! In Canada!!! On my way to Iraq!!!! The irony had me so pissed. I may have said out loud "are you serious?"
N then we landed like it easy breezy hahaha.

Military's got tons of furries from what I understand. People especially in strenuous professions or circumstances find a lot of escape in furry stuff and in having alter egos in general. Seriously, it can be strangely therapeutic.

@@jack.20f74 Considering that they have their hands on 3/4ths of the internet's essential infrastructure, I think we'd all have bigger problems if there really were any. Furries are just a demonstration that many of society's most capable people are equally bizarre in-and-of themselves, and I think that's a very humbling thing to remember.

I can't believe people have the audacity to mock these brave people. When I see my generation slander and trash on veterans it awakes a special type of anger inside me.
