Building a house that beautiful is called Talent. Doing warranty work on it, getting it just right, and cleaning up your work so well that no one knows you’ve been there is called Integrity. You have plenty of both. God bless you.
I've been watching your videos since I was made to finally retire 100% ,not my choice. I've learned a lot. Worked everything from digging t renches-running cranes, ect. Like every video you make. You reclaim farmland and make shit look good 👍 👌. 3 year videos now. Keep'em coming Mike.
Nice to see someone who still provides real "customer service." Even a couple of years after the business that did the work has technically closed. From personal experience, that's not always the case. Thanks for the video.
I like the fact you see a need to fix a couple of potholes after repair work this is great service that goes a long way toward future work and references
Really like your new introduction to the video. Nice that you include the family. What good looking kids. You can see the sparks flying out of Gunner's eyes.
The newer houses all want big, steep, cut up roofs. They do look nice but the cost and problems they cause. I work in construction on and off my whole life and after seeing the problems I knew I wanted simple straight roof. Reason I'm talking roofs is the valley's of that house in that inset carry a lot of water and with these large roofs using that 5 inch gutter heavy rains will over shoot the gutter and end up right where the problem you had was. There should be 6 inch gutter on that house and splash guard on the inside corners of the gutter to keep the water from ending up just where the problem was. Light steady rain the 5 inch will carry the water just fine but I bet you go there and see a good heavy rain or down poor it will look like a water fall in that area.
Great job DP! If all the Monday arm chair QBs only knew that they don't know it would save a lot of typing! 😁 Keep up the good work and kudos for taking care of previous work, and going above and beyond. It's that attitude and work ethic that will keep you putting food on the table. 👍
I grew up along the upper Mississippi and really miss the river. You are lucky to live and work in such a wonderful area without the Minnesota winters.
Mike your one heck of a guy !!! You no your stuff and willing to fix someone else's mess. Ya know you have a bigger family than you think.thanks for taking us along on your journeys !!!
Nice job standing by your word and honoring the warranty. That’s the kind of company customers want to hire. The goal is zero callbacks but if you’ve done a job or two over the years it’s bound to happen sooner or later.
I thought you forgot to walk though the mud puddle twice ! Mikey I had a old minivan for a work beater worked on a huge refinery job for six years 110 miles a day 12 to16 hours a day sold it with 296,000 still running strong ! Take that soccer mom !
Glad you had Tater around to instigate you into “Tellin the Story”. Always amazing camera 🎥 & audio ThankYou for sharing sorry we didn’t have enough time to come next when we visited. - next time we’re doing the whole tour - !🏴☠️🎥👍🏻
Views are awesome and lots of beautiful scenery in Indiana. I just had no idea that Indiana was so rocky until I started watching your channel. I would love to take my camper and tour the state sometime. Like the intro. Stay safe boys.
Making good the drive like that is noticed and appreciated, it shows the difference between the good guys from the not so much and who gets future work.
The new intro is nice, There is a lot of nice properties in your area. I'd love to have a cabin som where around there, but it's a long drive from Norway :-)
You said it correct, management has to look at the Totality (of the business), while employees look at the diversity ( what was my job for today)! I learned that the warranty work is what a successful business is the backbone of the company. Thank You!
Great new intro I liked it. Your right never get old looking at that view. Another job done on to the next. Really enjoyed seeing you on Tractor Time With Tim. Stay safe.
Hello D.P. I like the new "intro". It seems funny that with all the new chemical advances made in these days, we rely on a product that's thousands years old. Great job and video.
Another Perfect job! Been Accross the Ohio river quite a few times, never really looked at it,those are great views. I’m in NE Ohio so only when we’re traveling somewhere do we see it,your lucky to enjoy it!
A great waterproof parge can be made using that white foundation waterproofing mortar mixed with that concrete cement that looks like thin white Elmer’s glue. I was using some of this once and made the mistake of letting some dry on my fingernails. It was there for a long time. Works great for cisterns too.
Amazing how different things are done in other areas of the world. Here in Canada the garage and crawl space footers would be the same depth as the basement footers, mind you we have 4 ft of frost minimum. Also you would never want masonry underground. 5-6 inches above finished grade. Love your vids🤙
@@adriancarey7848 , agree... but the more recent trend has been trench fill footings saves the bricklaying time plus quicker and cost effective, yes engineering brick outer skin 7n concrete blocks inner. keeps NHBC happy.
I used to hual a skid and a mini on a 24 foot trailer I find it fits much better with the blade towards the ramps I also had the skid steer the other way
This job of yours reminded me of my friend that used to live in Georgia and had a water leak in the basement wall which turned out to be the water line that was feeding the home they used copper line to go through the wall it was busted along with the concrete where they filled in
The bad thing is he asked me to fix the problem I had some experience on construction he had quotes fixing the problem started at 5000 and went up to 8000 but he was quite surprised that I knew how to fix it and all I used was plastic water line I forget the name of it and it cost him $100 for parts and I used spray foam to seal the whole around the waterline after I get the water line replaced and sealed the hole I dug get filled up with Rainwater
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and adventures, great video. That’s a great view, would love to find a view Like that and have you build an ICF house for me, but unfortunately I’m likely moving a little farther south than that when I eventually relocate from New York. Stay safe, wishing you and your family the best.
If you don’t get tar all over you you weren’t even trying to work. That stuff covers you if you get close to it LOL. On another note, what smart guy decided to put those spigots up that high. The landscaper in me loves seeing that so much more than ones that are dang near right at ground level.
Expected a footing drain to be found and filter fabric tween rock and soil cover. I guess with patio in the offing fabric not necessary. Water, friend AND foe.
Mikey... Remember that warranty work counts as repeat business!!! Simple solution, well done and should work! I enjoyed the new intro... especially its softer music. 👍
"Word of mouth" can either make a business or break a business. Almost all of mine was by way of word of mouth . Got into a new sub division once doing a simple one day job. Before it was over had probably 6 of the neighbors putting me to work doing just little jobs.

@@sassafrasvalley1939 yeah so true, I'm a retired tile contractor. For over 10 of my 30 years in business I specialised in new construction residential and commercial. That job led to jobs along the gulf coast, good place to spend the winter, live rent free on the property and do a bit of fishing.
Nice work and follow up. I find it odd that no one has mentioned the exterior door with no stairs or deck. Insurance company would never allow it here where I am.
