Haven't seen a RUclips review in almost 20 years that didn't call the TT a hairdressers car or said it lacked driving dynamics compared to for instance a BMW. It had understear, not a real quattro drivetrain and so on. All of a sudden it's a legend, an iconic sports car. Now i wish i bought one back in the days.
When the first TT came out, it was like it came from another planet! Have owned 2 MK1’s a 2004 silver coupe, a 2002 roadster in nimbus grey with Baseball stiched seats- could just look at them all day long . Also owned a MK3 for 6 fun filled years. Great car, quick , economical and stylish. - good last TT review 😢
The rims are 20" on your model - I have them too, and while they're gorgeous, they also make you fear every curb and are a bit harder to get tires for. The TT can be equipped with a lane centering lane keep assist, which works quite well imo. But it does lack adaptive cruise control and 360 cameras and stuff like that. Great review, loved seeing essentially my spec from all these angles ❤
@@chasingcars I will keep my MK3 RS as long as possible. The inline 5-cylinder combined with a great quattro and exhaust system gives me goosebumps. Funny that this video was suggested to me on the day the new Audi A6 was presented and caused huge disappointment.
Agree that it needs the power of the TTS. Had a 2nd gen phantom black pearl metallic TTS coupe up until just recently. Loved the peppy engine and the classic TT coupe look!
The one car I regret selling was the 3.2 litre VR6 with a tiptronic transmission. DFast car with a great exhaust note, but the grandkids couldn't fit in the back. Too bad so sad. Still have the 001-BTT personalised plate. if any Queenslander has a black TT.
Ive got TTS 50 FINAL EDITION UK SPEC registered December 2023. I have the 20 !!inch with magnaride ….7 spoke wheels loads of carbon centre and carbon door handles inside 4:45 … red sides seats alcantara wheel with red at 12 and diamond leather nappa leather seats. 12 speaker bang olufsen speakers front and back camera cruise control and Audi rings puddle lights black packs and cost £56,000 U.K.i ca. sell it for more as it’s a collectors final edition.

Audi needs to put a battery in it and make it an EV! 200-mile (300 kms) range will do. Very few of us drive more than 50 miles (80 kms) per day.
