My sister, Ronnie James Dio, began his music career in 1958. As a trumpet player. Then, he teamed up with Ritchie Blackmore, in ELF, AND RAINBOW. The rest is heavy metal history. Ronnie James Dio is the true GOODFATHER of HEAVY METAL music. R I P Dio.

Great reaction 🥰🤘 You’ve actually reacted to most of these guys before, just in different bands. Guitarist Ritchie Blackmore was in Deep Purple. Drummer Cozy Powell was in the Tyr lineup of Black Sabbath. Bassist Bob Daisley went on to be the main songwriter for ozzy’s first 6 albums.
So happy for your interest of Western music.

Great reaction to another great old classic! :) Interestingly, Dio, singing here, and the drummer here, Cozy Powell, both ended up in Black Sabbath after this.

They even played together in Black Sabbath at rehearsals and was supposed to record an album but Cozy fell of a horse and was out of action so they brought in Vinny Appice instead and reunited the Mob rules lineup for the album Dehumanizer.
