This was wonderful. Thank you. Divorced 13 years after 20 year marriage. Grown children. Not much contact with any of them. I have settled into a peaceful, chaos and drama free place and like it very much. Sometimes feel sad, sometimes a bit lonely, but on balance am enjoying this season of my life.
Excellent stuff. I'm 73, and I've been single for almost 8 years. I agree wholeheartedly with your observations. Thanks for reminding me of all my blessings.

I’m 68 and I absolutely love being single !!! I have tons of friends who I socialize with at the tennis club; but that’s where I leave them - at the club ! I enjoy coming home after spending 2-3 hours with them to a quiet, clean house . No mess to deal except my own . I can eat whatever suits my taste. I don’t have to check with anyone to see what they want. I don’t need to concern myself with anyone else but my own thrills and desires! I come and go when I please. The only demands I adhere to are the ones that I make !
Another winner. I am 58 and divorced since 2013. For the first 3 to 5 years, I wondered why I wasn't involved. Now, I'm grateful for the time that I can focus on me after raising 6 children and being that emotional caregiver. I can't imagine giving up this luxury for temporary fixes.

I never married but dated a lot in my 20s and 30s. Around 40, I threw in the towel; that was sixteen years ago. I enjoy my single life. I was never interested in being married, and I definitely did not want children. I've been called "selfish" for that, too. I guess if being selfish saves me from getting over 50% of my assets robbed from me in a divorce settlement or having a bunch of troubled children blaming me for their problems, then I proudly wear the title of "selfish." I made the right decision, especially after seeing all the drama my friends have gone through over the years.

Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

I feel the same in a way too! I've been single for most of this year, but I've been raising my two boys full time , as well as working full time, too! The thought of someone to enjoy the " softer" views of what life has to offer, or show us, it's amazing how much fun it is to have casual feminine energy around, coming from a guys perspective lol, well my perspective at least lol.
I'm 61 and I love the mental and emotional freedom I have being single. My last two relationships were absolutely challenging and took so much out of me. It was just too much! I'm soooo happy being free!
I wish I had heard this kind of advice long ago before I even got married. Of all the mistakes I’ve made in life, 'marrying the wrong person' is my biggest regret. I once thought getting married would fulfill my dreams of having a simple and happy family, but it turned out to be my worst nightmare and a lifelong trap if you can't divorce, especially when you're living in a place where divorce isn't allowed. I am much happier now being alone and enjoying everything this wonderful video talks about. Thanks so much for sharing. I love your videos❣💕

In the Bible Apostle Paul point out about singleness life it says in 1 corinthians 7 :7 I wish that all men were even as I myself single that is good for them to remain single as I am, but if they cannot exercise, self-control, they should marry. Or it is better to marry them to burn with lust. Spirituality is not determined by marital status. As i personally have learned is the world we live in is you’re not complete or whole unless you are married, but I am complete and whole within Christ Jesus.❤
@ iv got it all figured out it’s great I love my season of living alone calm peaceful and a truck load friends to hang out with and my church family and then I can go home and rest and embrace alone time 💁🏼♀️ All GOOD 👍🏼
Divorced. Since then I have enjoyed peace and quit. No yelling. No working two full time jobs to support us. No more tons of dishes I had to wash. As a single male, my life has been blessed by God. Everything mentioned in the video is so true. No more unhealthy stress. Just peace.
I enjoyed this video illustrations wonderful I’m 66 years old single woman have raised my family I have grandchildren it feels strange I must say because I was married for 16 years and in a long term relationship for 10 years but I have to say I do love being single and free to make my own choices appreciated ❤️😊👍🏻
Separated from my husband, I am grateful my son and I were able to get out of a domestic violent situation, and really grateful my son and I live in the same home. My home is my son's home. Couldn't imagine kicking my son out of his home, especially after all he's been through and what I've been through.
I chose at 17 to never get married and have kids, even though my family wanted me to have a husband and have kids. I'm 47 now and glad l made that choice. I living free from drama and fights!
This is all very true. My single experience has not been bad, actually beneficial, being single is the experience that you make it. Society projects that being single is a negative and it's certainly not especially when you embrace the points in this video.
I love being single.I am 70 yrs old and have lived alone for a while.I enjoy my own company and the freedom to come and go as I please.I can relate with everything said.
I'm a single 56y old divorced woman, my children are grown and I find great pleasure in giving all my time back to myself. I LOVE being alone and free and wish I would've started this life when I graduated high school. This life has so much opportunity to learn and explore endless ways to living a great life alone.
single life is neither better nor worse than marriage/partnerships - it all depends on each individual and their psychological disposition and needs....
As 59 years old and widower I find myself more confident in life than ever Especially be a lone But there are times I miss companionship Missing my wife It was hard for me to move on with my life
OMG I needed this tonight. Thank you so much! VERY wise advice. Many "lonely" advice outlets concentrate on getting us to ignore the depression. Thank you for pointing me to the good side... the positives. THANK YOU!
53 and never married, no children. Best life decision I ever made. My married friends look, move and sound like inmates on work release from a harsh prison, having to "get permission" to have fun, golf, fish or hunt and permission is often "denied" by the warden. NO thank you....
Best video I have ever seen about being single. I am currently single after decades of marriages. I am so happy that sometimes feel guilty about the time I have for my hobbies and myself. I am advancing personally and professionally while increasing my energy a lot. Being married or living with you partner is a reasonable and respectable choice. But being single is another intelligent status that you should not discard.
Sad reflections of a failed marriage. Excellent reframing of painful abandonment. I am saddened for those who experience divorce, abandonment or are widowed. This is excellent advice for those who find themselves single; however single is not a desirable for social beings. I am sorry you were not able to keep a best friend and lover for life. All things end at some point, best to make the best out of what you have left. Sincerely thank you🙏
Uh huh I hear you bro… I wouldn’t trade this in for all the treasures of the world I adore being single I’m rubbish at romance I find romantic love to be tedious & tiring single life isn’t for everyone as most prefer / need to be paired off / up with somebody / anybody Takes a certain kind of strength and a higher mentality to remain single through choice Many don’t understand it but they don’t need to being single is better overall than being with someone who just doesn’t fit you The single life is not to be sneered at as with it comes peace of mind - mental freedom + greatness in clarity.. Lest we forget that there are those that are sent just to get in our way to confuse.. befuddle and pollute the calm.. Without doubt Single life truly rocks my world I love it intensely and it loves me exactly the same way back Cheers Wise Advice Ciao ;)’
exactly the same with you (and I am 58) , never had any relationship and it does not bother me at all any more (especially now) , I can say I enjoy life with no sadness at all , I am very optimistic and love my life as it is , (NOT COMPLICATED !!!) 😉
For all the people who say being single is awesome. They have never known what true love is, because if you had it and lost it you would never say being single is better. There's nothing more beautiful than sharing your life with a partner who respects and loves you unconditionally.
Married 45yrs 6kids 24grandkids and 14greatgrandkids we have a Legacy we will be remembered yrs on end after we are gone. My wife and i went with Gods plan ( Be fruitful an multiply)
I've been divorced for 20 years and at first, I thought it was the end of the world. I'm 66 now and still single on purpose. 13 reasons?? There's a lot more than that. Every day that goes by is a reason. I was married for 25 years and, I still have catching up to do.
60 and single, and staying that way. I am an introvert with adhd and i dont like change. I cant deal with the emotional side of a relationship. I enjoy being alone.
After 15 years of being single and searching for a partner I reflected and asked myself why that is important to me. The only true answer I could come up with was that it would be nice to have someone to split the bills with me. This is not an authentic reason to be in a relationship. That’s a roommate. Yes, single life after 55 is blessed.
Thank you for this video, and to everyone that has commented below. As a divorced, 40 year old guy, I can’t find a good woman and have started feeling very down about it. The thought of being alone was really weighing heavily on me. But this has really helped me see that this could actually be a great thing for me.
Now 45, single and never married with plush bank balance, no debts and lots of free time and freedom to do my own thing anytime anywhere without a worry. I was right.
I'm 63, still have a dauther en grandson living with me. I'm dreaming all the time beeing single. My huisband died 7y ago. One day I wil be single and enjoying my single simple life, dating what I want and when I want. Doing my hobby's, Just spending time alone and enjoying the silence...
For some reason am so much happier in a serious relationship. Even though all those things are right those freedoms don't bring me joy . Only love does .
I like the emotional freedom of being single … I really like the lifestyle . but also miss the connection of a relationship bth physical and emotional.. I guess providing the boundaries are clear and your own identity isn’t lost I’m open to what life brings and if that’s meeting someone, that’s cool .
I can give you a hundred reasons. For me it’s not having stress of worrying about your kids health and well being. And of coarse not alwssy being told you’re wrong
Really like your advice and insight on what really matters, I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy the coffee and listen to the birds while others were in traffic on their way. At 58 life is great!
I think it depends entirely upon one's circumstance in life. I was single for 30 years until nine years ago when I met this wonderful guy who moved in with me and has made my life so much easier because of a few health problems I have. I'm close to 80 now, and feel incredibly blessed by his presence in my life. So, while being single might be fine for some, it might not be fine for others.

As i personally have learned is the world we live in is you’re not complete or whole unless you are married, but I am complete and whole within Christ Jesus.❤

Don't you have it all figured out 😵💫
@ iv got it all figured out it’s great I love my season of living alone calm peaceful and a truck load friends to hang out with and my church family and then I can go home and rest and embrace alone time 💁🏼♀️ All GOOD 👍🏼
"A one sided effort" Yeah I'm done with that. I control my money, my time and have no one telling me what to do. I only need to make myself happy.
I agree with your opinion, thank you very much
So true. More peaceful free of drama and headache.
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
I agree on all points. However, these aspects of living alone don’t necessarily lead to satisfaction…
True, living alone has its challenges, and satisfaction often depends on what you make of the experience.
You don't speak for other people. Obviously, MANY people are quite satisfied living alone.
Divorced. Since then I have enjoyed peace and quit. No yelling. No working two full time jobs to support us. No more tons of dishes I had to wash. As a single male, my life has been blessed by God. Everything mentioned in the video is so true. No more unhealthy stress. Just peace.
I'm glad you've found peace and a better life for yourself. Your happiness and well-being matter.
Oh, man, hit the spot. I'm glad this video validates my heart and decision. It's time to reflect life itself and love it!
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
I enjoyed this video illustrations wonderful I’m 66 years old single woman have raised my family I have grandchildren it feels strange I must say because I was married for 16 years and in a long term relationship for 10 years but I have to say I do love being single and free to make my own choices appreciated ❤️😊👍🏻
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
Love being single
Thank you ❤
Separated from my husband, I am grateful my son and I were able to get out of a domestic violent situation, and really grateful my son and I live in the same home. My home is my son's home. Couldn't imagine kicking my son out of his home, especially after all he's been through and what I've been through.
Leaving a harmful situation takes strength. It’s wonderful you’ve created a safe, loving home for your son.
Glad you & your son are safe sound 🙏
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I ENJOY LIVING MY SINGLE AND SUCCESFUL LIFE.
I agree with your opinion, thank you very much
I chose at 17 to never get married and have kids, even though my family wanted me to have a husband and have kids. I'm 47 now and glad l made that choice. I living free from drama and fights!

This is all very true. My single experience has not been bad, actually beneficial, being single is the experience that you make it. Society projects that being single is a negative and it's certainly not especially when you embrace the points in this video.
Awesome, thank you!
@WiseAdvice93 You're Welcome!😊
Single for 15yrs and I love it! I wish everyone should try it
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
I love being single.I am 70 yrs old and have lived alone for a while.I enjoy my own company and the freedom to come and go as I please.I can relate with everything said.
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
Absolutely the best life for women is to be single.
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
I'm a single 56y old divorced woman, my children are grown and I find great pleasure in giving all my time back to myself. I LOVE being alone and free and wish I would've started this life when I graduated high school. This life has so much opportunity to learn and explore endless ways to living a great life alone.
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
single life is neither better nor worse than marriage/partnerships - it all depends on each individual and their psychological disposition and needs....
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
As 59 years old and widower
I find myself more confident in life than ever
Especially be a lone
But there are times I miss companionship
Missing my wife
It was hard for me to move on with my life
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
100% accurate!
OMG I needed this tonight. Thank you so much! VERY wise advice. Many "lonely" advice outlets concentrate on getting us to ignore the depression. Thank you for pointing me to the good side... the positives. THANK YOU!
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
53 and never married, no children. Best life decision I ever made. My married friends look, move and sound like inmates on work release from a harsh prison, having to "get permission" to have fun, golf, fish or hunt and permission is often "denied" by the warden. NO thank you....
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
Best video I have ever seen about being single.
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
Sad reflections of a failed marriage. Sincerely thank you🙏
Thank you very much ❤️
No one wants to die alone having a good partner is a blessing
I agree with your opinion, thank you very much
I agree,
I don’t mind dying alone. I’m less alone now than I was when I was married.
Uh huh I hear you bro…
I wouldn’t trade this in
for all the treasures of
the world
I adore being single
I’m rubbish at romance
I find romantic love to
be tedious & tiring
single life isn’t for
everyone as most
prefer / need to be
paired off / up with
somebody / anybody
Takes a certain kind of
strength and a higher
mentality to remain
single through choice
Many don’t understand
it but they don’t need to
being single is better overall
than being with someone
who just doesn’t fit you
The single life is not to be
sneered at as with it comes
peace of mind - mental
freedom + greatness in
clarity..
Lest we forget that there
are those that are sent
just to get in our way
to confuse.. befuddle
and pollute the calm..
Without doubt
Single life truly rocks
my world
I love it intensely
and it loves me exactly
the same way back
Cheers Wise Advice

I've never been in a relationship, I'm now in my late fifties, I've lived on my own so I don't know any different, I like my freedom and the peace
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
exactly the same with you (and I am 58) , never had any relationship and it does not bother me at all any more (especially now) , I can say I enjoy life with no sadness at all , I am very optimistic and love my life as it is , (NOT COMPLICATED !!!) 😉
59 y/o and could be the poster child for your narration.
All the single "seasoned" ladies, now put your hands up, woo-hoo🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
Being single really isn't that bad after all ❤
Absolutely! Being single can be a wonderful opportunity to focus on yourself and find joy in independence
Thank you! I agree and have been single my whole life. My only concern is taking care of myself when I need major surgery, etc.
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much

Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
For all the people who say being single is awesome. They have never known what true love is, because if you had it and lost it you would never say being single is better. There's nothing more beautiful than sharing your life with a partner who respects and loves you unconditionally.
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
Single is okay for some people. It's the loneliness that feels cruel because it's not natural. In essence I totally agree with your comment. 😊
@Uilani-g4m: You could not BE more wrong. And how dare you make such a foolish assumption about others. Scram.
I just turned 55, and I agree with him. I'm glad I watched the video.
Glad the video resonated with you-cheers to embracing your truth!

I've been divorced for 20 years and at first, I thought it was the end of the world. I'm 66 now and still single on purpose. 13 reasons?? There's a lot more than that. Every day that goes by is a reason. I was married for 25 years and, I still have catching up to do.
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
Man I've been single for 2 years now and loving life ! Its like he has exclaimed your free to do what what ever you want good job 👍🤙
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
60 and single, and staying that way. I am an introvert with adhd and i dont like change. I cant deal with the emotional side of a relationship. I enjoy being alone.
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
After 15 years of being single and searching for a partner I reflected and asked myself why that is important to me.
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
I would say this applies for single after 45.
I agree with your opinion, thank you very much
Single entire adult life!
46 and single/no kids over here!
Now 45, single and never married with plush bank balance, no debts and lots of free time and freedom to do my own thing anytime anywhere without a worry. I was right.

I am 47, never married, no kids, no regrets.
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
I’m 60, widowed for 4 years, and quite happy. He was an abusive monster so I didn’t exactly grieve much over him.
You deserve your happiness and freedom now. Glad you're in a better place
I REST MY CASE YOUR HONOR!
FREEDOM IS HEALTH IN ALL LIFE ISSUES.
Health and freedom are essential. Your perspective is strong-keep standing for what matters!
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
I don't know why it's like that for after 55, but I have felt that way all my life, and I am about to turn 40.
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
“serenity now” 😊
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
Went through the hell of ten years of cancer with my wife till it took her in 2022.
I'll always love and miss her.
But i don't want another thanks!
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
Its great being single and less stressful but it is lonely sometimes
Your sharing is wonderful, thank you very much
.....when you're lonely, you have the choice to go out n socialize without being tied down to anothers opinion .
That's what good friends are for ❤
Really like your advice and insight on what really matters, I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy the coffee and listen to the birds while others were in traffic on their way. At 58 life is great!
Sounds great!
