I have so much more respect for Aston having seen this (not saying I never had). Something truely beautiful - the passion they treat their heritage with. What a magnificent place..
I live just down the road from here and it truly is a work of art. We went in last year when they had a One-77 in the showroom. A guy in his early 20s with his mate, dressed in casual jeans and a t-shirt; they could have easily not looked at us twice. Instead they welcomed us in, and invited us to have a look round anything we wanted. THAT is why, when I have the money, they'll be one of the first to get some of it. Finally a video that does this awesome brand justice. Shame about the interview!
The beauty of that place brought me to tears. How far they go to rework and rebuild those cars and in such amazing quality... its absolutely breathtaking
Really nice to see a company taking care of there customers after they purchased their car. I have great respect for companies which take such an effort to maintain "old" cars. Not seen often today!
This place is my heaven because I love Aston Martin cars. They are such beautiful, beautiful cars to look at and to drive. My dream is to be able to go here and pick up my own Aston Martin. Thank you Drive for the video.
Wow, amazing! I'm in awe of the attention to detail and craftmanship possed by the artisans at Aston Martin. I especially love the fact that not only will they do a frame-off restoration, they're not above personalizing a customer's car. Yes, one pays for that kind of service, however, how many collectors would kill for that option? It's like having your classic car roll of the assembly line again, in the color & w/the options of your choice. Simply awesome!
Wow just wow! Im in awe! The amount of work and endless possibility in providing the outmost service and quality work is just impeccable! Ive always loved aston martins! This just made me even love them more! Great job!
This is just wonderful. A factory effort to keep their old classics going, modernized or not. Just great. It makes me want a DB9 even more knowing that when I've beat the crap out of it these guys will happily put it back together for me.
Impressive. Arguably the best looking model lines in the world. Thanks for the behind the scenes insight. Very customer oriented. Still gotta pay to play baby!!!!
Great episode. Very impressive to see a company not "just" restore and fix old cars but build from scratch a chassis or color change a car. And JF, I like the shoes sir.
He's one of the founders of the channel, he can look like and say whatever he wants. I feel most of us enjoy his relaxed attitude towards the way he does interviews and tours.
First: Everyone, watch this on an HD screen with surround sound. The sounds of the factory tools and the amazing music truly are the best I have encountered in a long while. JF and William, you guys really out did yourselves on this video! Second: Who else would be willing to start a kick starter for converting Matt Farah’s Vanquish into a manual ^_^ ? Hope to see you guys at MoSport where I shall be sporting my brand spanking new /Drive t-shirt! Cheers
The manager of the retail/repair shop was very impressive. Knew all about each car they looked at. Didn't stumble or bumble when answering. Great workshop and amazing to see those old skills are still being employed today.
Am I the only guy with a lot more respect for aston martin now? I really like the fact that they will go to great length to please the customer, and give new life to their cars. The manual transmission to the V12 vantage was very impressive
The man in charge knows his stuff. Very unassuming looking fella but boy, sure switched on. The interviewer looked like he was out of his leave a little
I really enjoyed that. I love getting a glimpse of how these companies do things behind the door. I love the amount of dedication put into helping the car owners achieve what they want.
I have an old 37' Lagonda that my father bought a long time ago, I was collecting information on doing a restoration on it. I'm not rich but I was like what the hell I'll send them some pics and see if they can help me. The VP of Aston Martin Heritage North America emailed me and was cool as hell, not snobby at all. Gave me all kinds of advice, I was very very impressed.
Another great video! Fantastic visual, fantastic audio! These videos are the reason why I enjoy the drive channel so much. It has been made so carefully with so much attention to detail. oh btw JF: wear what whatever you want! As long as you continue to create videos like this you can even turn up naked...
I used to organise this with the factory at Mercedes-Benz. Customers getting the car they bought in the 70's, 80's or newer models getting updated or restored at the factory. The personalisation is the nice part, seeing a car change over its lifetime with its owner. You might not like the look of the latest model, but can pick or choose the new gadgets on the latest car to have in your old car or matching an entire car leather interior from a handbag the customer bought from her collection.
service is impecable, but what really fascinated me was that guy who got interviewed,so strict and firm yet so polite and helpful! Never says anything overboard nor does he let himself get mixed up in questions in addition he clearly just loves what he does and he loves that place...that guy just amazed me(im male and im not gay :P )
Real enjoyed this video. Love Aston Martin and this really gave me an insight into how they work. Would love to see more. Hands down best drive episode.
5.50 ! Love the fact that when that v12 wakes up in the back ground, you feel the 'groowwllll' make the earth shakes under their feet but "hey guys keep talking" :D
Simply amazing factory that performs some absolutely crazy installs, right hand drive to left hand drive! Ridiculous amount of reengineering needs to be done. Also beautiful song that starts off in the background at 10:07
JF I like these specialties car makers "mini series" Driven is doing now. Focusing on specific brands with many installments showcasing points of interest and forward thinking in the industry. I hope these will continue in the years to come.
I don't know if you guys read these comments but awesome video. This, McLaren, koenigsegg factory tours have been awesome. Still wana see JF rip a skid!
Fantastic video, love it! I agree with previous comments that it would be even better with an "extended version" of like 30mins with even more nerdy stuff doe us who can't get enough of it
It's not the red, it's the red sneakers, the hands are in the trouser pockets.... generally these things are no problems, but standing next to a very polite Englishman from Aston Martin, these things just stand out. Still an awesome job, I really appreciated your work, keep it going :)
I second many of the other comments here related to poor job by the host. I would also like to add: how about getting some pants that fit and a pair of reasonable shoes? Were you not aware they would be recording video for this feature?
I'm still not a huge fan of Aston's cars, outside of the new Vanquish, but they get huge respect from me for their backend customer support. Well done, Aston.
Very cool vid guys. Awesome to see the lengths to which Aston will go to make a customer happy. I'd guess thats one of the main reasons they are still around... besides building beautiful cars.
I've got those shoes, they're alright by me. Although maybe a more subtle colour might have worked better with the shirt! However, let's not detract from the quality of the video which was top notch. I could have listened to that guy for hours and the workmanship involved is simply amazing. Keep it up!
This vid reminded me how bad I've always wanted a 70s V8 Vantage.... and subsequently, that I can't afford one. :( Thanks for reminding me of my crushed dreams, drive!
JF, you are a wonderful man, but you must respect the rules of the gentleman. You are not only representing yourself, but your establishment as well. Wonderful interview, truly amazing work, keep it up, both Aston Martin and /Drive!
man, i absolutely loved this episode. fantastic stuff as usual JF. as a side note, i live and study about 5 minutes away from Newport Pagnell, would have loved to sit down for a few pints with you /Drive guys!
Very very good video. The best factory tour that you've done so far. A lot of credit should also go to Graham Darby - a very proud and enthusiastic AM employee.
I have so much more respect for Aston having seen this (not saying I never had). Something truely beautiful - the passion they treat their heritage with. What a magnificent place..
Wow. I have a newfound respect for the company.
Respect Ali. :D
Manual gearbox baby! Yes! Finally a company who understands the feeling and emotion of driving a car with a manual gearbox.
I live just down the road from here and it truly is a work of art. We went in last year when they had a One-77 in the showroom. A guy in his early 20s with his mate, dressed in casual jeans and a t-shirt; they could have easily not looked at us twice. This is so beautiful, keeping all your cars maintained cost aside from anywhere in the world. I love seeing history being kept alive
The beauty of that place brought me to tears. How far they go to rework and rebuild those cars and in such amazing quality... its absolutely breathtaking

This is one of the coolest car videos I've ever seen. That workshop is amazing.
This was absolutely incredible. I have ALWAYS loved Aston's, and this just reaffirms my love for them. Thank you, J.F.
This place is my heaven because I love Aston Martin cars. They are such beautiful, beautiful cars to look at and to drive. My dream is to be able to go here and pick up my own Aston Martin. Thank you Drive for the video.
Their passion in keeping Aston's on the road seriously made my heart tremble with awe.
Wow, amazing!

This years series has been incredible. Brilliant job JF. Best episode since the Mclaren one.
Wow just wow! Im in awe! The amount of work and endless possibility in providing the outmost service and quality work is just impeccable! Ive always loved aston martins! This just made me even love them more! Great job!
This is some of the best content I have ever seen on RUclips. Truly excellent stuff.
This is just wonderful. A factory effort to keep their old classics going, modernized or not. Just great. It makes me want a DB9 even more knowing that when I've beat the crap out of it these guys will happily put it back together for me.
This is a car owners dream as well as a mechanics paradise, Austin Martin your on the right track..thumbs up
Unbelievable. I own a DB9 and this has blown me away. I'm keeping it forever.

Great episode. Every single car in this film is incredibly beautiful, what a heritage.
Am I the only guy with a lot more respect for aston martin now? I really like the fact that they will go to great length to please the customer, and give new life to their cars. The manual transmission to the V12 vantage was very impressive
There's no other word for this than dazzling. Absolutely dazzling.
This was my favorite /drive video for months. Well done.
i'm blown away by the quality of videos from this channel recently fantastic work
The man in charge knows his stuff. Very unassuming looking fella but boy, sure switched on. The interviewer looked like he was out of his leave a little
Oh, you're THAT guy.
99.9999% of people would be out of their depth in that workshop. Let us be honest.
Wow what customer service
Old world craftsmanship keep the art alive I will never be able to afford a Aston but I do appreciate your teams work
I really enjoyed that. I love getting a glimpse of how these companies do things behind the door. I love the amount of dedication put into helping the car owners achieve what they want.
Drive does it again, gets amazing access to tell an amazing story. Keep this up!
Wow, this may be one of the best videos I have watched on RUclips. Seriously good work guys, please keep it up.

I would love to see all these factory videos have longer directors cut, I could watch these for hours.
I learn so much every episode Drive uploads. Thanks guys.
Loving these vids DRIVE!!!!!! I am an engineer/auto tech so I love to see all these different workshops.
I used to organise this with the factory at Mercedes-Benz. Customers getting the car they bought in the 70's, 80's or newer models getting updated or restored at the factory. Astom Martins are the best looking cars there are... you can just look at one forever without getting bored... beautiful....
This is how you put the customer first, it's beautiful what this company do.
Those V8 Vantages are probably one of the best looking cars ive ever seen.
Simply amazing factory that performs some absolutely crazy installs, right hand drive to left hand drive! Ridiculous amount of reengineering needs to be done. Also beautiful song that starts off in the background at 10:07

Fantastic video! These factory tours are really awesome
The willingness to make the Aston the way the customer wants is incredible! Unlike say Ferrari whom only does as new restoration. Bravo Aston Martin.
wow! these factory videos are awesome, just wish they could be longer.
Absolutely! Now knowing this, I truly appreciate the work that goes on in their factory to an indescribable degree.
Great video.. I love the factory tours the best of any segment on drive
I don't know if you guys read these comments but awesome video. This, McLaren, koenigsegg factory tours have been awesome. Still wana see JF rip a skid!
I live in Newport Pagnell right next door to Aston Martin works!!
Fantastic video, love it! I agree with previous comments that it would be even better with an "extended version" of like 30mins with even more nerdy stuff doe us who can't get enough of it
Great episode and production.
Amazing amount of commitment and fabrication in an era of the disposable car.
I've always had a weak spot for the Aston Martin V12 Vantage, but after seeing this, I want it even more now!
Holy Aston Martin that was bad ass! have a whole new respect for them now.
For everyone asking what song it was at the beginning. It's called "Tides" by Alex Arcoleo. Can be found on Audio Network.
I love aston martin. Maybe one day I will own one. What a brand, what a name!
Drive this is your best youtube vid to date....AMAZING!
Wonderful to see inside the building I drive past each day.
This is the EPITOME of what a luxury car company should be. Bespoke and breathtaking stuff guys.
I've always dreamed of owning an Aston. I still hope one day I get to do just that. Amazing video.
this is why i always respect aston martin more than other car makers
this place is the heaven's car! Incredible, great video, tnx DRIVE!
Amazing how the work with these cars. Every floor so clean etc. Just amazing
It's not the red, it's the red sneakers, the hands are in the trouser pockets....
generally these things are no problems, but standing next to a very polite Englishman from Aston Martin, these things just stand out.
Still an awesome job, I really appreciated your work, keep it going :)
They provide all levels of service, what a place.

I'm still not a huge fan of Aston's cars, outside of the new Vanquish, but they get huge respect from me for their backend customer support. Well done, Aston.
One of the best Drive videos yet. I know it's extremely unlikely, but I would love to see a similar video inside Ferrari.
Amaizing. I watched first 3 min of the video more than 100 times
thank you so much Drive! i love Astons with my heart and soul and this was a beautiful video!
Very cool vid guys. Awesome to see the lengths to which Aston will go to make a customer happy. I'd guess thats one of the main reasons they are still around... besides building beautiful cars.
The workshops themselves are amazing to look at, let alone the cars that come out of them. Great interview :)
this could have been 3 hours long and i would have enjoyed every second off it drive keep up the outstanding work
For everyone asking: The first song is called "Tides" by Alex Arcoleo.
- It can be found on Audio Network (top of google search)
Great job JF, this was really fun to watch...
DRIVE does it again - good job guys, bloody marvellous video... Just wish I had the money...
I've got those shoes, they're alright by me. Although maybe a more subtle colour might have worked better with the shirt! However, let's not detract from the quality of the video which was top notch. I could have listened to that guy for hours and the workmanship involved is simply amazing. Keep it up!
I have so much respect for Aston Martin right now
The moment I am trully glad I'm subscribed to "drive".

This workshop really seems like a dream come true...
It's nice to learn that if you have the money, Aston Martin will do pretty much everything that you can imagine. I will not forget it.
JF, you are a wonderful man, but you must respect the rules of the gentleman.
You are not only representing yourself, but your establishment as well.
Wonderful interview, truly amazing work, keep it up, both Aston Martin and /Drive!
Awesome!! Incredible what kind of jobs they do!! Now I am even more fascinated by Aston Martin!! :D
Awesome episode! Keep these coming JF!

Very very good video. The best factory tour that you've done so far. A lot of credit should also go to Graham Darby - a very proud and enthusiastic AM employee.
