Agreed! I'm not making an ornament but I just wanted some other way to finish my cross stitch that didn't take a hoop or picture frame. This worked perfectly! However, I did have to hot glue the aida cloth onto the board because it was just too stiff, I couldn't pull tight enough to keep it wrapped. It ended up really nice though, so thank you!

If you mark around the fabric with removable marker, then you wouldn't have to hold the cardboard. Beautiful ornaments.

Cindy, Thanks so much for this tutorial. I also wanted to say I cried and cried when I saw Mary Rose was stopping Flosstube. I, like you, felt like we were connected, and her episodes were always so comforting. I understand that she wants to do other things, and I am not mad, just sad and will miss her. I did ask her if she would keep them up for a while, as I have rewatched many when I just need a comforting voice. She is so unique and such a good soul. I am a better person for having met her on Flosstube. I know that sounds strange, but I have learned so much from her, from her gently ways, and kindness, and humor. She will be missed by many. Take Care Cindy. I am glad you are still doing Flosstube.
