Alright thanks working at HD and now I know what to tell customers!!! Thanks for the informative video!!
If it works as explained (no leaks, or something of the sort) then it's brilliant and wonderful. Good job, guys.
Some years ago, I built a sprinkler manifold and used two 1 inch to 3/4 inch PVC-Lock couplers. I had occasion recently to dig it all up because of a leak. Before digging, I strongly suspected the PVC-Lock was the issue. However, after 6 1/2 years underground under continuous line pressure (75 PSI), neither of the couplers were leaking a drop. I'm impressed.
1:07 - Note there is no line around the pipe.
1:44 - Note the line around the pipe, possibly because he rotated the fitting and the teeth made that mark?
Please post this on Rumble!!
Do you connect regular pvc to this stuff and what’s the psi for 1/2” pvc with these locks
Can it be used on potable water
This is GREAT!!!!!
does this work with PVC and Pex connection? I am reducing PVC 1" to Pex 3/4" thanks.
Do you offer this for multiple sizes and elbow angles? Is it just 3/4 or is 1", 2" available as well?
PVC release tool does NOT work as easily as demonstrated here. Amazingly easy to install but you'll still end up cutting out the PVC pipe. So really installation is MASSIVELY simplified but there is no recovering the joint...
Agree. Getting on is easy getting off near impossible!!!
I haven't had any problem getting them back apart.
Just got some for the first time. Need them after record low temps in Texas broke some pipe. These look promising
Do they work with cpvc
OI! Where can I find one of those red collars?
+Kappatea Home Depot
Mine are leaking
Thanks yo
Will these work for drinking water and hot water lines?
No. Cold water, outdoor irrigation systems only. Don't install this under your kitchen sink.
The lock does not secure a leak free connection so yeah I don't recommend it In your kitchen
nice if you were working in a dry dirt free enviroment
This seems like a Snake oil ad. First these cannot be used on the pressure side of the valves, only AFTER the valves! The "O" ring seems it should have some o'ring grease on it. Read all the reviews from 1 up. HEY THIS LEAKS!!! Why Orbit?
i'm already sick of this meaningless promotional vids.
do u think u can provide pipe cutting diagram for different types of installation?
it's pretty important when u need 2 preserve existing installation.
i need to install a coupling 2 an *EXISTING* pipe (like I do now).
how do i know where to cut and how much pipe i need 2 remove to install the coupling?
duh
@@daverodgers6332 nothing personal, but what did you mean with such a profound reply?
