As a professional musician since 1964 I have been shying away from loops because "How can I use a loop if it's not in the key my song is written in?"
Wow. I learned so much in this quick lesson. I am so glad I got MC10 Recording Studio. (LOL My first computer with 4 K repeat 4K was a Radio Shack MC10 in 1985. I also did some work as an MC over the years. MC must be a good thing in my life.)

For four years or more I've still been asking about a "Glide" effect for the note like 808 sample, is there finally a solution?

There is no automated glide/slide function in Mixcraft, but it can be done manually in the piano roll - ruclips.net/video/Vr7fi7SSB_8/видео.html
