Great job on these. I'm looking into an alternative DAW to Cakewalk as they are in a bit of a mess for almost a year now. I've been downloading demos of a few of the other DAW's that appeal to me. I'm putting Mixcraft at the top right now. A big part of that is your tutorials are bringing me up to speed fast! I have been making Tutorials for Cakewalk so I understand the process and it's a lot of work.The importance of having these tutorials is often overlooked by software developers. Anyhow, Enough watching and on to recording a song to see how it goes.
Because I don't have a midi keyboard yet, I still use MTK. Mixcraft MTK is amazing!!! because it has 18 keys, velocity, pitchbend, and modulation. Also don't forget that Mixcraft has step recording for midi input.
@acoustica222 Thank you so much for putting this together! I have 2 questions: 1) under arm replace - what is the point of this? you could just delete and 2) when I click on the little piano, and try any of the different instruments, nothing plays unless I use midi or typewriter......your thoughts?

Why did you explain midi note length change with drum midi notes? You could have used a regular instrument instead of drums. Best regards.
