I've always dreamed of doing something like this with my voice. I think it's about time to get a DAW and start putting in the work) It shouldn't replace writing completely, but creating drafts, new note ideas and sounds, and just being able to input ideas from your head into the DAW directly without trying to find the note on the piano roll/keyboard - this is yet one of the best ideas I've seen. Thank you! ^^

I love this concept, as it allows for someone who only plays a couple (or even only one) instruments to be able to create their own music while still being able to feel like they played it or created it themself instead of just programming notes and rhythm with MIDI. It can add a feeling of life to what is being created. This is good AI, obviously it should not be used for full heartless automation. In its current form, its a perfect concept as it still requires human creative expression to get a final product.

Traditional sample libraries are kind of history based on this. I mean damn. When he starts doing all those examples at the end. Wtf 😂Imagine spending so long trying to make a perfect guitar library and AI comes along and makes it so you can just sing it in (or presumably play it badly on guitar) and it does it better than they could ever hope to achieve.
I’m hoping for them to be able to take any sound and literally regenerate it as if it was recorded with different players, mics, spaces, etc. Therefore you could use some crap old MIDI orchestral samples and it give you something that sounds like it was recorded with the same engineer, musicians, space as Star Wars or something.

This is not something that sample instruments easily do unless many layers of tone are stacked together and cross faded between them. Even then it can sound sketchy and mechanical. This is truly remarkable tech and its still in its infancy. Excellent video!

I think as AI becomes more and more prevalent in art, non artists will make something better than before, but real artists/creative people will see their craft enhanced by AI (new ways open up) and that will elevate their art, too, keeping the gap between pure AI art and art made by the synergy of AI + creativity.

I was amazed when someone came up with a program that could produce real digitized music on a simple PC speaker, which until then had only been able to beep. I started making music myself, made a DA converter for the LPT port, later got a sound card - I did mod tracking and it was cool. This is just _incredible._ It's exactly what music production needs, at least in terms of AI tools. Now I'm waiting for a plugin that can do that with any virtual instruments we have on our computer. Also, the best would be to make a leitmotiv with our mouth and tell the AI the style of music we want, not just turn voice into instrument. But it's already a major step forward!
EDIT : Oooooh I see what they did there... Here is a funny experiment: upload a vocal, _with words,_ and try turning it into an instrument. You will be able to hear the words. So what they did is turn instruments into RVC voice models. As long as you just hum your melody, you won't notice it, but if you use words, the trick is clear.

Thanks for making this video. I might take the plunge soon and finally make some chamber music just by using my whistling skills. I wish you peace and fulfillment and joy!

This is such a cool idea! its literally imagine a sound try to replicate it using your hands/voice and the output becomes whatever you set it to.
    Next level!

    Dear Ummet,
Thank you for uploading your fantastic tutorial! I really enjoyed it.😃👏👏👏👏
It's fascinating to watch what possibilities AI has given us!
I can imagine that it would be really fun to produce music with it!
However, as you have alrealy said, AI couldn't replace the soul and the frequencies achieved by a musician while playing an instrument, meaning that a musician will become one with the instrument (and the emotions as well) while playing an instrument and thus creating unique frequencies afterwards.
In my opinion, musicians should still make music, but they shouldn't use just AI to produce music!
As long as the musicians will stay be creative and make music, AI could possibly function as a help in order to finish a song (it could encourage creativity too)!
But I still think, it could enrich the world of music!

I'm testing this technique with RVC, I don't know how it works I just followed one RUclips tutorial, but just with a 50 batch training and a 15 min saxophone dataset I was able to do something close to your results. I'm training a new model right now with more batches, if it works I'll upload a video like your examples

Riduculous. Watch the "Rain Man" movie, and start thinking about never (sic) using absolutes like all, none, everyone , always, etc.
