That looks almost exactly like a spot I fish on the Raccoon. Except with the water down so low you dont need a yak to get there. Just walk through some tall grass and then boom, sandbar across from some trees.

Wish we had a place to yak down and camp like that..mostly state park land..the camping site.s are way off from the river..cant camp on the river.s edge or have a fire.then you have to be back at boat ramp by dark..just take.s the fun away..this winter ill have to look around for a site not to far away i guess.. allways enjoy yr vid.s..cheer.s ron..

Brother my woman loves to fish, she didn't know she loved to fish until I took her for the first time this year. Now it's almost impossible for me to have a peaceful day out on the water where I'm not addressing her issues with tangling, having to go pee or poop at the most inopportune times. LOL, and having to answer a million and a half questions instead of sitting there like a big bump on a lot like I'm used to with my feet up on the bow... Lol

On catfish if you put your 1st finger right behind the adipose fin ( the type fin before the tail). Then put your thumb directly under the fish lined up with your 1st finger. When you squeeze your fingers together with the fishes tail still in your hands. That will paralyze the catfish that way you can handle it better.
