More bank fishing brother. Lots of us guys can't afford boats so we are stuck with the grind of finding good bank spots that produce. Tight lines forever brother 🎣
The only thing don’t like about the entire fox river is people on boat or Yet ski don’t respect bank fisherman 🤬🤬🤬 night fishing in the fox river with live bait is the best way to get flathead!🤘😎🤘 good video bro!.
Thank you brother for your videos. Always like watching . I'd like to see more . Bank fishing I'm working on getting a boat . So I can learn other types of fishing . Keep up the good work.
Wondering if you had any good tips on finding good spots to bank fish for flathead or just any tips overrall to hook up into a flattie . Im up in northern Illinois on the fox and have been struggling to catch them. I use live bluegill but never seem to hook up
@@hookedcatfish Im in the Algonquin area, ive thought about fishing the dam but always tons of people there but this spring i was thinking about trying harder to get a spot. I mostly fish the stretch above the dam though due to many locals recommending it but still ive had no luck bank fishing it
Yeah keep trying with live bluegill what I've found is the like the main channel not close to the bank there really is no bad SPOT just have to put time in they are not easy to catch
Too many hungry people in the city to be letting them fish go I live in okc most of our close to home fishing spots are fished out I would have cooked that whole flathead and passed out to homeless try it great feeling don’t get me wrong I love ur video’s
I like the videos you show from you catching big Blues out of Powerton I love those videos in a few of them you show you have a slime cat rods that inspired me I went and bought two 12 ft slime cat rides heavy action and put pin 30 Squall level lines on it with 50 lb mono they work really really well and it takes a fish to bend them not no little ones but it takes a fish to bring them believe me but I like your Powerton videos would love to see more even if they're in the winter time thank you
I love flatheads but with the weather getting cold I’m partial to channel cats. Mostly because their what’s close to me. But do what you love if you’re not enjoying making the videos they won’t be as good!
@@hookedcatfish channel cats are underrated. On light catfish tackle their a blast! Personally I think the river channels fight as hard as blues pound for pound.
always enjoy watching your video. I know that spot you were fishing I'm pretty sure that I went past you and another guy. Fishing last weekend on the river well if you were fishing just south of the McHenry Dam.
I like those episodes of 20+ pound channel cats. I believe channel cats are underrated because they are popular. yes the 5 pounders are popular but not 20's I enjoy those episodes
Great video, I like any catfish video. If I had to choose? Since I don't have a boat, I'd say bank videos. I have yet to find a bank spot along the Fox, Kankakee or Illinois Rivers.
I personally like all your videos. Doesn’t matter channel cats, blues, flatheads, bank, or boat. Makes no difference. You catch a lot of big fish man. 💪🏼
