Nice, I'll revisit the newer Maiden albums. Interesting that you appreciate Adrian Smith. He has been my first major inspiration in guitar, and I still love his solos in the 80's, especially on Somewhere in Time. Great review!
@@SonicDriveStudio Bruh The Final Frontier is so underrated, the title track is so badass, The Talisman is the best song here, Mother of Mercy just has a great chorus, Coming Home is a great ballad, Starblind is emotional deep song, and WTWWB is just depressing yet beautiful epic.
I think they actually rehearsed Mother of Mercy for the tour, but the vocal lines were too exhausting for Bruce to sing every night, so they replaced it with something else (I think 2 minutes to midnight, which was the third song in the set, so right where Mother of Mercy would have been.)
Great to see that the guy from Ownhammer digs Maiden! FF is one of my favorites as well. I saw them on every tour since 95, and the best concert of them all was in 2011 on the FF tour. But Bruce solo on the Chemical Wedding tour was even more intense. Up the Irons!
totally agreed!! reviewing each song for my coverband (maiden division)'s YT channel, sorry it's all in italian. this album is a bit progressive and that's why the typical maiden fan doesn't love it... i totally digged it after the first listen. also, the best songs are at the end and in a way the wrost are the opener, imho

You just can't convince the Fear of the Dark/Run to the Hills crowd. This album is about journeys far away..the songs serve that purpose. The album is amazing.
Love this album so much, remember when I got as a teenager. Actually used The Final Frontier song for an English project back at school. Honestly this is one of my all time favourites
Great review of a very underrated album ! I forgot how good Isle Of avalon and Starblind are... The melody from The Talisman is up there with Out Of The Silent Planet and The Educated Fool in my opinion !
@@StalkerStivEveryone praises old Iron Maiden and dogshits on modern for becoming prog and making too many long songs. I listen to all the album, they’re all great but I always find myself listening to modern songs a whole lot more than the old ones

the best sounding of the "reunion" albums. album goes for a shit after the talisman-the last 2 songs are just terrible.
