"FYI everyone, here's how you get 500,000+ EXP before getting an EXP multiplier from a hotel. If you want to get a 3x EXP multiplier, you'll need access to the city of Altissia in Chapter 9 and the requisite 30,000 Gil.
1) You'll need to farm Rare Coins in the Cleigne region. Walk up to a sparkly blue treasure and save your game. If it's not a Rare Coin when you pick it up, reload the save and try again. Repeat this until you have at least 24 Rare Coins. (This could take 1-2 hours) You will also use your remaining Debased Coins, Silverpieces, and Banknotes.
2) Craft Expericast with a Lv. 96 EXP Bonus by combining any 1 magic (fire, blizzard, or thunder - no need to use 99, just 1 of any will suffice) with 8 Rare Coins. You will receive 5x Expericast spells to use. Do this two more times with your remaining 16 Rare Coins. Do the same with your remaining "Debased" items. You will not want Firaga/Blizzaga/Thundaga level spells because you will want to use as many spells as possible in a short time without killing a particular beast.
3) Visit the Wiz Chocobo Outpost and buy the Fat Chocobo Triple Decker sandwich for a 50% EXP boost. If you haven't unlocked it yet, just do the quests for the Wiz (the local "restaurant owner") until you complete "A Feathery Feast." (It's only the 3rd quest, I believe) The sandwich costs 1,100 Gil. Also, if you have the Moogle Charm, make sure to equip it for a further EXP boost.
4) Travel to the area just north of the Hammerhead and fight the Lv. 38 Bandersnatch. Unload ALL of your Expericast magic in one battle with him. If the Bandersnatch dies before you can use all your magic, you can get him to respawn by saving at the Hammerhead and reloading your save, then going back to his location. You should net your 500,000+ EXP once you've used all your Expericast spells, provided that your 50% EXP boost hasn't worn out. This is the shortest part of this whole ordeal, as you should be able to use all your magic in less than 10min.
5) Go to the hotel of your choice to cash in your EXP multiplier. Obviously, Altissia will provide the most. I went from Lv. 52 to Lv. 87 after doing this, and the added HP and strength are definitely worth it.
Good luck and happy hunting!"
That moment you find out just how good the Debased item's are for EXP farming and you sold them for Gil /Cringe.... Nice quick guide and to the point, Cheer's xD.
I feel you! I don't sell anything until I find out what it's for or I can easily get more lol.
Me... I sold all. Thanks for the guide. Now time for farm coins.
+Alkira Mari where can you farm the coins? I don't find any answer :(
They're thrown randomly throughout the game. I don't know if they always pop up in the same spot or not. I think they do, but they don't show up on the map. So someone with a lot of time on their hands might be able to do that, but that would take a lot of time. Plus they could just patch the game and move the items around. Game companies like to do that as their idea of keeping the game "fresh". It's a stupid and flawed concept if you ask me. Adding content keeps a game fresh, not changing mechanics.
Dev damn I did the same :(
or go to the chocobo shop dude, eat the triple decker, go to hammerhead, refight the Adamantoise over and over, using the ring of lucii (usually takes a few tries) then go to altissia hotel and stay for 30000 which is a 3x multiplier. Can get over 2 or 3 mill exp
Or, you could spend time levelling Ignis' cooking stat to 10 to then be able to craft the Lasagna al Forno, which is a 100% EXP boost, then fight the Adamantoise with the ring of Lucii, go to past Altissia for the X3 EXP and get tonnes not so easily but you get lots in one go
But thts not early game lol
HOW TO DEFEAT ADMANaTOIS WITH THE RING
@@kinggamer-fg3mg by spamming
@@kinggamer-fg3mg spam the ring
Hey guys! If you get Gladiolus' survival skill up, he'll start picking up rare coins and debased bank notes sometimes. That should help add to your inventory
I suggest that you activate the stat multiplier nodes from the Stats tab in Ascension, it'll cost about 800 AP. But combined with this method, it'll "dramatically" boost you characters' strengths.
Great guide, thanks for sharing :D
So I did this and went from 69 to 87 with my three pals while Noct went from 74 to 93 using this method.
There were different variables such as using 12 bombs, Noct had 2 moogle charms equipped and killed the big guy twice, but over all, I'm feeling much better about my chances to take on the giant turtle and the level 120 super boss.
mas8705 what's the level 120 super boss?
Luke Healy It is part of the "post game" content quest line where you beat super hard bosses and get powerful weapons. Towards the end, there is one boss that is level 120, and it is... hard.
mas8705 it's not even hard it's just a waste of time lol. literally a 9999 hit every time, you will be potion spamming for 15 mins haha
Nope, he's referring to Naglfar I guess.
Christopher Cooper yea there is a lvl 99 hunt where the monster is lvl 120
There's a much faster method in Altissa now. So, all you need would be Expericast Fira (9 rare coins + 10 fire energy) which gives experience gain 99, have the moogle charm on, and then get the Maagho lasagna. At the Maagho bar, undertake the quest where you fight a level 50 enemy (King of the Great Escape). As Fire heals it, keep using your expericast Fira spells on it. Every time you cast it, you gain around 29,000 experience points. I tried it at level 70, got around 900,000 experience points then I went to the 30,000 gil hotel for 3x experience and ended up flying up to level 99 with over 100,000 exp to spare.
In the time it takes you to farm for coins you could be doing the hunt at Ravatogh(the volcano area) that has you killing 7 Wiverns and using the 100% exp boost from the lasagna at Magoh in altisia. In 3 hours I got from 53 to 90 by getting 680k exp then using the royal suite in altisia for x3 exp for 1.9m exp per person. But that was because I was killing them fast.
Hector Montes where do you get the lasagna?
Chapter 9 Altisia mine are for Chapter 1
I agree with this comment. this is what I have been doing. its great. also using prompto starshell to lure them away and using the death spell with the ring of lucii is sooooo fast.
Ahhh cool thanks for the info
ruclips.net/video/U_qt_JUsmOY/видео.html
also with the triple decker that you get from the chocobo ranch if you have the mats you can camp and make it yourself because Ignis learns the recipe once you complete that quest
Here's a better one, go to the water town and eat the food(exp + 100%) + water town hotel room the expensive one (exp x 3.0) + magic, I made from Lv 45 to 71 in less than half an hour, 300,000 in one single trip. Those coins don't come handy, so you may wanna stock them up for the big one.
くたばれクソタレ thx mate!!
くたばれクソタレ do you still fight a monster and use your coins when you do your trick
did you Still use the same hotel room he used and how much does the food that gives you 100 exp cost? Also your saying I need to get alot of rare coins??
plus if you've beaten the game already you can go do Pitioss Dungeon and rack up on rare coins. hit level 99 super easy.
and Ignis can learn a recipe that give you 100% xp gain as well, so you can save the time on your food timer by just resting at the nearest haven to the monster you're gonna fight then you can just summon enemies and farm them.
i just did this with 100% exp boost and moogle charm on the bandersnatch, and slept in altissia. Went from level 45 to 89 lol.
I have been grinding none stop and JUST got the lvl 40 within 3 days Thanks for showing this and helping other out
I'm a level 82 and I did it naturally. Just by doing side missions and continuing on with the story. I've done so many to where I kept my EXP until I was ready for bed so I went hour upon hours just holding onto EXP. I went from a 52 to a 77 in one sitting from doing that. Even after I defeated the Adamantoise, you still don't get a ton of EXP for crap. The Adamantoise only pays 50,000 and gives 40,000 EXP. At this point I'm bragging but I even have Noctis' health at 9,999.
I mean, Adamantite Bangle automatically caps your health at 9999.
If you travel from atillissia to Lucia it will reset bandersnatch without resting you can rack up a shit ton then cash in at hotel
this is a great tip resets all giant monstsers in game
Going to a rest stop (Hammerhead for this example) and saving/reloading will also reset spawns. I think reloading may be faster since you're only going through one loading screen.
I was level 63 and got up to 750k exp and went to altissia for the 3x exp bonus and got up to lvl 98 that by eating the 100% bonus, throwing alot of exp spells and doing the fistful of gil hunter quest twice
I did this by simply doing all the side quests at my level. I would only use one rare coin or something else. So you play the side quests and safe your experience. I went from level 19 to 43 in one night. Then from 43 to 60.
went from lvl1 to 55 in one night bich! :p took me 4 hours to kill ameratsu at lvl 1 and probably 300000 in Phoenix downs. but I did it!
This is a very good method for early grinders like me where I'm still on Chapter 3.
Endless / Paradox wait till u fight wall demon
polong99 saw it once in chapter 14, fucked me up like no tomorrow, Ramuh was only able to take down 10% of its hp
Endless / Paradox I was already level 45 in chapter 3 without doing this. What's wrong with grinding? are peoe so lazy that they don't even want to play the game normally? but would rather boost? smh no wonder games are going into this shitty, short story direction smh
uh...this is grinding. as a matter of fact im sure this is one of the ways the developers intended you to grind, otherwise they wouldn't have added something like this. what exactly is playing the game normally to you? sitting around for hours on end fighting weak mobs and leveling at such a slow rate that you make no progress at all in the game? have fun with that lol.
Are there methods out there for grinding right now?
This is really cool.
I just got to Altissia. My Noctis is at Level 90, while Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompto are at level 83. (Noctis had two Moogle things equipped.)
I have like... 40 Debased Coins and Notes and the like saved up, as I never used them.
But I think I will now...
Good post/video, man.
Thanks!
wow dude. this gave me 1.5 million exp in 30 minutes... you're awesome
the tow car option takes you directly to the hammerhead (fast travel)
Thanks for sharing. I didn't have as many debased coins as you did, but I still went up 10 levels. I'm satisfied.
Damn it, I kinda sold every damn item during the first chapters,I thought they were just meant to earn guils. DAMNED BE MY GREED
I never sell items in FF games right away, or any RPG for that matter. Mainly because you always find alternate ways to earn money and you never know if the item is valuable or not. The only FF game where money is hard to come by is FF XIII. That game had a terrible way to make money and required you to farm items just to get money. Not to mention the best way to get money in that game was a 50/50 crapshoot on a few enemies late in the game. I gave up getting ultimate weapons in that game.
Barbara Manca money comes by doing side quests too
Barbara Manca yup a woman
Do these methods still work?
Same here I thought it was just items we collect tos
Saved 700000+ experience went from 69 to 98 after going to altissia for the 3.0x multiplier
Great guide! Much appreciated.
Side Note: I like the music of FFXV, but when the sound is sped up, i don't know....I really like it! XD
fyi, I think it's better to go to verinas mart, travel to past altissia at the caravan, buy the maagho lasagna, travel back to past lucis, rent a chocobo for 2 days, take the hunt where you hunt 7 wyverns, use the ring of the lucii to kill the wyverns quickly, go back and take the hunt again, then sell the wyvern scales to the shopkeeper in Verinas mart. you can get a ton of gil and exp using this farm. then, when the effect of the maagho lasagna runs out, travel back to altissia and buy a 30,000 room in the leville. I went from 75 to 86 in about 40 minutes
If you get the lasagna from Altissa and have Jabberwok sirloin from Jabberwok battle Ignis learns the meal. Then wait until the Cactuar Slactaur Time quest and do over and over you can make about 2 million Gil in about four hours or less. Also use Rare coins to do expericast.
Thank you for posting this!!
I went from level 36 to 73.
a trick to almost always get a rare coin is to save in front of the treasure on two separate files then pick it up and if it's not a rare coin, load up the first file and it will be a rare coin. if that doesn't work, save in front of the treasure, pick it up and save on a second file and then load the first. I've done this 4 times in a row and it worked, then again I could just be lucky.
2 Years late, but progress in the story a bit and then go to either Duscae, Leide or Cleigne and search around a bit.
There are Cactuar and (more importantly) Slactuars in the area, and if you didn't know, they give ridiculous amounts of experience.
Slactuars only respawn every 15 minutes, so while you're waiting after fighting one search for Cactuars. You don't have to beat them, you can just cast a spell and leave the fighting area and rinse and repeat to get 200k experience per cast (300k per cast with the food buffs, and almost 400k with 3 moogle rings equipped)
fuck, i sold all my rare coins! LOL!
Laylo Hustle me too! I had no idea!
so did i :(
ouch! but you can get them easily in the moogle carnival dlc. I collected 99 rare coins from there
MasterJ360 how
Same and debased bank notes, I had no idea they would be useful 😩
I'm on chapter 14 and didn't do anything like this but I've time traveled so I'll be doing this before the last boss fight
*mini spoiler*
I would like to point out that you can get even more exp by eating the lasagna at altessia which gives you 100% exp bonus. Once you fought a couple battles and done the process as shown on the video and are satisfied with the exp that you have gained you go back to Altessia rest at the inn and it will give you 3x the exp. for 30000 Gil. (End Game)
Bro thanks for the video your method is 20x better then anyone else and yours is easy
if you go to Altissia you get get something that gives you 100% exp. also if you use debased coins you you get more spells. also you don't have to win the battle so you just cast the spell and then run and still get the exp
Great method! I got to 50 recently after 40 hours of play haha
i got lvl 42 after 20hours and i played only sidequest and not this exp farming methodes
Very good and convenient method, just took me 10 mins for a whopping 500K EXP. Great Vid, Thanks!
Really cool but I won't do that until the end of the game, I want a challenge :3
Dracogame yeah don't grind too much or it will be pathetically easy
Dracogame Its really easy anyways you basically never really die.
Kongo i died once and that was when i accidentally stumbled into that same creature in this tutorial at the beginning game on lv 1 lol
Viking Gaming I think I fucked up anyway. I'm level 74 and still have to go on the yacht. On the other hand I've almost completed every other sidequest and hunt request in Eos.
Dracogame Dungeons like Costlemark Tower will really fuck you up. They are not hard in a good way - they just throw bullet-sponges enemies at you that do too many damage. I mean, 3 Red Giants and a Naga? Fuck it. Even the boss of the dungeon was easier.
Hey licont, I just found your video on another channel, using the same info u wrote in your description! The channel name is ' RPG Division '
You can eat the burger get the moogle charm and use the spells at formouth garrison even if you don't use any of the items suggested you can still get around 20000-30000 exp then go to the motel and double it and get 40000-60000 I haven't used the burger or the spells there yet so I don't know the average amount using the items but if you don't have the spells or moogle charm it still gives you a good amount
Thank you so much i find your guide so simple and easy the way you explain some people r just meh
Definitely do post game. I am lv84 and now starting chapter 7 and the main story is super easy to me. You don't even need the hotel in Altissia, just the 2x hotel is more than enough. I have barely even used any food multipliers too. So all those rare coins and debased coins I will probably just sell.
about that 50% discount on your hotel stay.. how did you get that? i'm not finding it anywhere on google
Antoni BK They said it came with the travel dlc pack
Antoni BK you need to be lv4 hunter to get half price in every shop hotel and fast ride
I'm level 4 hunter and I don't get half price
If u dont mind grinding and killing time to I hav an idea. i went and looked up the adamantoise exp it 40,260 i did the numbers with the lasange from magahoo (sorry for spelling.) and the 100% gives u 80,520 go to altissia and rake in the x3 u get 181,560. do some grinding and u can what u need in no time
How did you get the half price for golden quay and isn't there supposed to be a hotel for 20k that gives 300%
Dan Lodder it is????
Dan Lodder half price was due to his travelers pack that he got as a preorder bonus. and its 30k for 3.0x exp. i personally dont use those though due to the high price... and i just bought the blood sword for 5k
luneth where is the 3.0 one?
Travis Porter it is what?
Dan Lodder its in altasia...
I';ve seen a lot of these vids by now, and I have a question:
Why do you all use the chocobo food and not the Ignis' level 9 dish (Lasagna al Forno) or Maghoo's Lasagna (from Alitissia). It gives 100% exp bonus and full elemental immunity.
ruclips.net/video/U_qt_JUsmOY/видео.html
u can also do the cactaur timed quest slaying 100 cactaurs back to back in groups of 10 and u will get over 100k xp, tons of mega elixirs and mega potions and tons of ap if u have the skills learned in ascension to do so. just aoe the crap out of them between abilities, techniques, magic, and armiger and itll go by fast. u can do it over n over as well so tooons of xp if u add food buff, 100k without any xp additives, so imagine the possibilities
theres a much easier method of doing this. simply equip moogle charm for 50% more xp, eat the food, then kill adamantoise if its available. kill it over and over. u can kill it quickly by using main attack spell on the ring of the lucii (hp drain) which will kill it before it even reaches half health. with just the moogle charm u can earn 75k xp per kill 50k without moogle charm, + u get the adamantite which u can sell for50k gill. money and xp all at once. time it takes to kill adamantoise with ring is roughly 15 to 20 minutes. also first kill of adamantoise gains u adamantite bangle which maxes out hp of whoever u equip it on instantly
keep in mind this method is only available postgame by travelling to the past of lucis, but its a good idea if u want to raise your level super fast so u can take on the major dungeons and hunts easier
uh he wasn't there when I needed to farm him..
SAME HERE
save the game outside the monsters territory or area and reload he will be there.
But u used up all ur coins and magic on one fight, so basically u can only do this once, until u find more coins.
Tip: rent a Chocobo for 7 days at a price of 350 gil. You can summon it when and where you want.
Very helpfull vid, thanx a lot. But how did you get the texudo? i finished the main story but i only got the one with the cape.
its a Pre-order DLC
This is the best guide for gaining a lot of experience, thanks!!!!
WARNING. I found that at about lvl 80 rare coins, and all debased item no lone show up! I tried to farm never got a single one when before that level they were pretty common. Then magically once I hit lvl99 after using the Wyvern farming method. They were back in the game
How did you reduce the cost of the hotel to 5k? :3c (I pre-ordered it digitally, and don't have that option, even though someone said it was a pre-order DLC Bonus.)
there were multiple Pre-Order DLC, some from Amazon, some from PSN, some from Square Store, some from Gamestop, some from BestBuy.
Just buy the seasson pass
i got from random bonus named Travel Pack
MonsterHunterRpgs I have the season pass and I still don't get those kind of discounts on hotels ? How do you get the discounts
there is some info on the dlc i guess is like a Deluxe Edition pack thing sr to confuse you i made a mistake then becuse i thought i got mine from the season pass 2 becuse i forgot that i got the deluxe edition im really sr for the wrong info there sr
Really worked ... You Sir deserve a medal
Fam today you have saved lives.... 😁...most helpful vid I've seen yet
That was nice! How many times did you cast that spell on the boss? It looked like quite a bit.
The music when it's all sped up sounds like weirdly sinister circus music
Either way, great vid
Big shout out to you for this man!
how long did it take for you to get 24 rare coins by your method? what places did you exactly use for farming? just random item locations in cleigne?
you could walk southwest along the road from lestallum towards cape caem, i collected most of my rare coins there, but you have to be patient.
cool but you can leave the battle and come back to save time ... you don't have to kill him (eventually)
god this is incredible, i thought it was just going to be some OP way to fight but this is something i can actually do
Tried fighting refus when I'm only level 40. Was like trying to kill an elephant with a potato peeler. Didn't even get close to taking 1/4 of his health till I realised that I didn't have enough potions to last the entire battle.
I only had the attention span to do this for about 15 minutes before summoning- 25,000 exp though, not bad my friend ... not bad at all.
Now ima go Golden Quey and X2 this lot
Most helpful video, thanks man!
When can I fight the bandersnatch? I traveled to the exact location and all I found were daggerquills.
Their is also a hotel in Altissa that will give you 3x Xp boost
Dude amazing thanks for the easy to follow guide
The fastforward parts reminds me of Sims. XDDD
thank you so much! i really need exp, so im gonna try this tomorrow! •w•
the in on Altissia costs 30,000 Gil but gives about a 5-10x exp bonus
This was super useful thanks for making the video :3
how did you get half off prices?
I think its from Fishing.
Kevin Acosta It's from the traveller's pack dlc bonus.
thanks for the info!
Too bad I pre-ordered it digitally on the PSN, and didn't get it =/
*****
Season Pass doesn't have Travel Pack.
Are you aware, and I'm sure you are, that if you farm AP you can get bonus casts for 333,999 I believe. Might be 555 and 999. Probably make the process easier assuming you want to farm the AP first.
there's food that gives you %100 bonus experience so you missed out on %25 more.... I'm barely at chapter 3 still im mainly focusing on all the side quest at level 34 already got 41 side quest done (:
the 100% food is in altissia which he clearly states hes not there yet. you need chapter 9 for that. this trick you can do early chapters so 50% is the best option
Oh I didn't see it my bad
wrong, if you farm cooking skill and up to lvl 10 you can cook "Lasagna Al Forne" which is giving +100% xp
Altissia hotel Royal Sweet 3.0 rest 300k. thats 300k exp x3 so your looking at 900k exp.
Level 28 to level 53!
Travel to altissia for 3.0xp
CreeeperHOE where's that at
Cruz b it's at altissia xD
Cruz b depends on the chapter you're on. you travel back to the past to the city with leviathan ( call umbra at rest point ) then just go too the hotel in the city
CreeeperHOE ya I had to beat the game
u kno leviathan is one of lucifers many names.... just a random factoid lol.....
definitely doing this and then going to Altissia. There is a 3X XP hotel there.
I love it when you sped up the battle. XD
oh my bahamut!!!! thanks ramuh for this video!!!
I hope you can answer this. How do you make the spells? I have the items and I followed what you've done and press "x" but nothing happens.no spells are made. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong
I found it more fun doing the hunts then the actual main story. I was level 45 on chapter 3, now the main story is just too easy, and I have no more bounties, will the game ever catch up to me in difficulty? Will they give me new bounties?
I'm lvl 63 chapter 3 and I ain't meet iris yet,and almost rank 5 on hunting.
lol
How did you get half off of everything, fast travel costs hotel stay, etc. Thanks for your time, and thanks for the vid.
It works a lot faster if you drop all the coins up to 99 multiplayer and hit him one time. Unless you want the AP too.
The barbersnatch monster or whatever wasn't there. The one above hammerhead
Also sleep at the Quayside cradle it doubles the xp you have
The Bandersnatch doesnt appear for me. Why?
not a bad guide to getting xp but lots of preparation needed so instead of doing this go fight a cactor located near hammerhead, you'll have to watch a video for more details
no preparation is needed. i didnt do anything special for any of this. i just used the items i had gotten while playing the game normally. ruclips.net/video/U_qt_JUsmOY/видео.html
Yeah but i think killing cactor is very good way for gaining xp easily for beginners that is
This is better on the 54 Kujatas there are 4 of them ;) save reset and load then fight easy to level 99
how did you get the cost down from 10k to 5k on the hotel rental?
crazymammoth travel dlc
Daniel Ceron travel dlc??
CurtPatrickHDTV i think it was a preorder exclusive from amazon
Travel Pack dlc from the Collector's edition
i feel robbed i bought the deluxe edition over LIVE and i got no travel pack dlc...
is it better to use multiple low xp casts or high xp casts? iv saved all my coins n shit throughout im lvl 80 atm, want 99 as fast as possible for post game.content
What if you make a experience spell at level 99, do you just throw it and then kill it?
how did you get that suit Noctis is wearing?. I finished the whole thing, post game included. never saw that suit
What's with the weird frame rate?? And I've been doing it wrong lmao I never knew it stacked each time you used magic, thought it was just a 1 shot per battle thing, I mean I'm lvl 80, I just could've been 80 so much sooner had I known! LOL especially since I have enough rare coins to hit Magic lvl 99 😭😱 ah well lol
My game won't let me level up at all, If I press next it just skips cashing in the xp and moves on. Any idea on how to fix this?
I'm a little confused. how do I farm coins? pick it up and save and reload and the coin will be there again? same with exp and bander. so I kill him, save and reload and he'll respawn?
