Nice job. You covered a lot of the basics very clearly. Are you a general or apprentice right now? Keep it up, I'll keep an eye on your channel.
@@azhawking Thankyou I am beginning my second year as an apprentice. I try to only cover topics I know about and make sure to make it plain im just giving an example of how i do it and not how it must be done by everyone.
@karvinjones4246 you are doing a great job. Are you intermewing, or did you release your raptor? I noticed no one ever goes over intermewing very well on RUclips.
@@azhawking Thankyou, As of right now I have a Red Tailed Hawk I had a kestrel in the past and my brother just released his kestrel but we did have them inter-mewed for couple months pretty successfully with a wall and door separating them and they were also tethered. Now that the kestrel is gone I free loft the Red Tail maybe in the future when he traps his next bird I can show the setup. Thanks for your comments means alot.
where are you from kj

Hi! I just found your channel today. I'm a falconer in Germany and this journey here is quite different. My question for you is about finding a sponsor - in such a big country, what does one do if there is no falconer close enough to you to work together often? Is it possible to have a long-distance sponsor? I'm enjoying watching you work with your birds!
@@harrishawklerinDE Thanks for your comment. Here in the US we have Falconers in every state except Hawaii and in my state we have multiple Falconer in each county so for us at least it is not a problem with finding a sponsor close to you. I dont know about other countries however. Super cool that you are watching from Germany glad you enjoyed the videos!
@@karvinjones4246 Thanks for your answer! I'm originally from Wisconsin and moved to Germany 12 years ago. I got interested in falconry here and had no idea there were falconers in the US! About a year ago I learned that there's even a club in WI, but before that the closest I'd found was in Michigan. That's so great that there are falconers in every state! Keep up the good work. 🙂 Subscribing...
