Actually, the safety on the Apollo is more traditional. The safety on the Helios is more recent. The first time a similar safety was applied was in the case of the 1911, where the button style is seen on older models of old .22lr rifles

zeus is not springer... i think it's atlas problem with the atlas is it hits soft cause the power is spread to fire out of two nozzles instead of one so it hits soft
Socially Awkward why spend $44.09 for a pump kit, and $17 for the Apollo, when you only get a 7 round mag a worse gun that requires said pump kit to be usable? When instead you pay $36 for the Artemis and just call it a day.
I disagree with the Apollo not being able to be a primary. If you prefer to be a scout and rely on speed it is a great primary. I have seen plenty of people use it that way
Stealth Spider I just got an Artemis and I love it. pump, slam fire and huge ammo capacity. I usually prefer detachable mags, but 30 rounds does help make up for that
Stealth Spider literally the Artemis is better is every way except it takes longer to reload (which you should obviously expect) but I like Helios better and i don’t even know why since I SHOULD like the Artemis.
honestly, I got the original version of the Apollo last year and I engraved a sight into the priming handle and it hits anything I point it at (in range), but id go with the Helios just because of the fact that there isn't a priming handle on the top.
The push through tiger safety is very common amongst firearms and why would you try to shoulder a pistol? I found it too easy to accidentally operate the mag release when tightly holding the pistol grip. The priming action is neither better or worse but I agree moving it from your line of sight makes a lot of sense.
I love xronos as a side arm but if I had to pick, I would pick the helios , I really dig that bolt action and the fact that it has the spring return it makes it a better soda arm instead of the weird top priming style of apollo
I like the Helios the best. The Artemis is great, but the lack of a stock makes it hard to keep steady. The Apollo hits the hardest, but it's just painful to use without a pump kit, and if you need to pay $60 to make a $17 blaster usable, it's just not worth it. The Helios has a comfortable grip, a smooth priming mechanism, and an actual stock, so that's why i like it the best.
i would say the helios is better than the apollo in a stock battle, but once you get to modding, there is much more out there for the apollo. i agree that Artemis is the superior option, but id almost rather have a decked out custom Apollo for about the same price(for uniqueness sake)

Thank you from Canada! I bought 2 Helios' today to surprise my gf to play tonight. Then watched this video and returned them to buy artimes'. Thanks again.
What I'd like to see next is a hopper-fed springer with at least a 50 round capacity. If Dartzone can create a hopper-fed springer that works with Rival ammo, it shouldn't be beyond Nerf to come up with something better. Another possibility is a bigger magazine that still fits the Apollo, Hera and Helios. If Nerf can do a 35 round Drum magazine for darts, I'm sure they can manage more than 12 Rival rounds in a magazine. The Zeus is effectively dead, and the 12-round magazine that was designed to fit it should no longer be the limit.
Just seen the news on the Hades, 60 rounds springer like a bigger Artemis, and the Prometheus, 200 round hopper-fed battery-powered, both Phantom Corps designs. Did they give up on red & blue teams? This dumps my theory that Phantom Corps were deliberately limited to smaller capacity blasters to keep them as a weaker third faction.
My helios is rather inaccurate. You can really see it when you compare it to my atlas or kronos. Rounds put through my helios tend to shoot down right away. Is this normal? It also seems to jam often. Doesn't seem like an option at all for play.
Best springer: artimis and whatever phantom corp blaster that is like it, because I know they will, similar with red/blue and phantom corp springers, similar flywheels, and similar full auto
I would choose the Apollo because I made the prime spring back, if you prime twice now on mine you can use it like a shotgun where it shoots 2 balls and it doesn’t make any noise while priming
Ughh the helios is only in ".com", not on Canada, i saw it for 30$ but when i arrived to the total and the shipping, it said 50-56$... But!!, i went and purchased the artemis in blue(the red option was not avaible....).
Kronos master race. I've nodded mine with a t pull, return spring and have it hitting 125 on the chronograph. Gonna do another with a shotgun prime and 12 round mag addition for 17 total rounds.
Hey Drac, just for arguments sake, if tomorrow both a rival corps Artemis and rival corps Hades came out at their respective price points, and money was not the issue, which would you prefer to get and use?

Drac, I would choose the Helios, i have both of the phantom Corp ones and I think it’s so much easier for pulling the side mechanism instead of having to on the fop

Hey draconian, I’ve been wondering how can you become a member of the southeast nerf club? I’d love to become a member and I’d love to have some more experience in the nerf community

The first Rival blaster I got, was the Artemis. Guess I made a good choice, not to mention I had watched reviews (including Drac's). My second rival blaster is currently on it's way, the Kronos :)
Im going to brag slightly and say I got two Artemis for less than what you saw 1 listed for. There is a store in Newnan, GA called Bargain Hunt that sells damaged/open boxes and they had them for 17 each. And they actually had all the rounds still in the box. I also got my Apollo there for like $7...then I added the Worker pump kit and like it much more with the pump, even than the Artemis. But having to reload less often is pretty nice. The Helios looks good, but I think Ill pass for now. I am looking forward to finding the Khronos in stores though.
Helios all the way, the priming is so much fun and that ergo though. honestly I dont like the Artemis I think the design is ugly because it is so small. Can't wait for the Hades ^^
I had an Artemis for about a day, got rid of it because it kept jamming and the priming bar felt like it was going to break every time I pulled it back. The new kronos I love as a side arm, need some kind of speedloader for it though to make it usable. I having got the chance to try the Helios yet, my target hasn't gotten them out on the sales floor yet. But hey, I finally upgraded from a Zeus to the nemesis.
