#fft The Rival Perses offers amazing value simply because it includes a rechargeable battery and charger despite its reduced capacity. That being said, now a days you can pick up a nemesis for $32-60 and a rechargeable battery pack for $15. I personally picked two on clearance when Kmart was doing it. I’ll stick with the nemesis, for now.
The Perses actually shoots faster than the Prometheus and there is one bad thing about the Perses is that it runs out of Rival Rounds easily. The Prometheus RPM is 429 while the Perses RPM is 500.
sixnil because rival is where it’s at, regular nerf doesn’t shoot far, hard, or well. Rival feels like an actual gun but you don’t get hurt by it, and it shoots straight!
Or like use while running, the shock from you r footsteps will be enough to jiggle the rounds into the hopper so thats only an in test issue and not an in play issue
The blaster has an upwards spin causing the rounds to curve up. Taking in the hopper feeding issue, one can tilt the gun forward to exploit gravity for feeding of the rounds and to accommodate for the bullet curve!
@@Neon1880 Not that far down of course! I am just saying there is a way to adjust for both problems. You only need to tilt a little for gravity to take affect.
For the feeding issue, with a bit of modding, I'm sure a spring assisted feed mechanism wouldn't be too hard to manage, just a small plate and a low tension spring to push forward rounds into the feeding tube
you see a person coming at you, they have this, but they are all out of ammo. you laugh. then he pulls another hopper from behind his back and loads it in. you run.
Ive seen the accu-round 'pixie dust' too even on the very first shot, but i think the rubberized coating on the blue foam does make the accu-round more durable to this problem than the traditional yellow rival round

Price justification: nemesis = $100 /100 rounds/ no batteries/ slower rate of fire. Perses = same price with less rounds / included battery/ almost double the rate of fire/ more compact and streemlined form factor I think its an even tradeoff which justifies the equal costs between the 2
I have a NERF Rival Perses. The WORST thing actually is: "Problem Six"--The Perses cannot fire up very well. If your opponent is above you, the NERF Rival Perses will stall and fail to chamber a round as you aim toward the sky. I THINK THAT IS THE #ONE BIG ISSUE. But otherwise, I love it.
i mean the rival blasters are usually for wars are all that and if your running the rounds would shake into the feeding system. i think that’s what nerf had in mind when making this blaster
If you dremel out the inside of the hopper a bit or sand it down a shade (you could 3D print your own too but that sounds like a pain in the ass) and overvolt it some this thing would be unstoppable. You would be a walking force of nature, until 4 seconds later when you run out of ammo...

I want this gun, but honesty, my play style is just grab ammo, roll/slide behind barrier, and then shoot someone at nearly point blank. With a Mccree pistol mind you. I’m basically the wildcard of the game
From what I've seen else where the feeding mechanism sucks on this blaster and you need to shake the blaster a bit to get the last of the ammo to feed.
Yesterday I went to a Nerf battle event that a local parkour place does every Saturday and I always bring this blaster. Although the rate of fire can be inconsistent sometimes and the ammo runs out quick the pros outnumber the cons. At one point I got up to the top of a wooden structure they have at the parkour place and there was a small wall on the structure blocking me (for reference it was like a trench where I could easily shoot the enemy but they would have a hard time getting me). And this structure was right in front of the opposing teams spawn so I could spawn kill anyone if I wanted to (which I did a few times). But with all these factors combined it felt to over powered so after getting a few people I stopped shooting and then someone got me.
Although it is EXTREMELY loud when revd then again. it takes basically .5 seconds to get to fully revd so it wont give away you location as much as you'd think since you would be able to tag them before they can react since it takes .5 seconds to fully rev up
Just imagine this but mixed with the curve shot idea, making a fully auto curve shooter. If this was made then it could be considered an ultimate cover counter for people that live to hide around corners.

The rival rounds do not have topspin, rather, they have underspin, which carry the balls upward. Topspin carries spheres downward
