Maybe this is just a me thing, but I really loved Thomas and Nikola and while Thomas does play a pretty big role in the story I still wish we saw more of them. For some reason I just really really like them, and I was honestly really sad when their happy ending was changed to a sad one. Then again I might just feel this way since I think they're cute together
I would have liked to start a new playthrough, but I'm not about to abandon all these perfects, some of which I spent days hunting lol I wish we could transfer monsters between saves.
One thing that I actually wish had been kept was the strange plants that were used by the aliens to breathe! It added a little bit of loro to the way the Wubbonians were different from the others. But I suppose that Crimsonite might be having similar effects anyway. Aside from that, yes, it's definitely an improvment over what we had before.
I actually liked the Wubbonians wanting to restore their planet more than just being imperialistic weirdos, and I liked the concept of Coro (the Titans mentioned him/her in the old ending) but except for the ending everything improved.

wasn't Chalchiu crimsonite at the beginning of the fight? I mean that made that fight harder but made it thru, but with a crimsonite coromon that fight is stupid easy
I didn't play the original but from what i saw in let's plays i think the coruption of the elements by crimsonite was bether shown then dark magick was.
