I visited Yucatan Peninsula last year. It is amazing how the infrastructure and accessibility of cenotes have changed. Huge respect to the pioneer explorers of Yucatan caves. Not to mention, it was a privilege to meet and learn from people mentioned in that video.
I agree with others, just a nice simple caption in a good location might be better or maybe a smaller font if you want to let the hearing impaired read along with the presenter
Captions are immensely distracting… can’t finish the video; apologies. Had to minimize and listen only to the audio
captions are necessary not only as part of RUclips's best practise but also to allow those who are hard of hearing to foolow along. Would you prefer a different style of caption? Let us know, that would be fine!
Make the captions optional by clicking on or off. It is common on RUclips. Everyone will be satisfied!😄
Yes, for the captions just use the embedded caption formatting (sidecar .SRT file) and *****NOT***** raster-burning them into the video stream itself! I hope this helps :) @@GUEdivers
ARE YOU SERIOUS? These ridiculous jumping texts all over the video....? And then the presenter's first sentences are about 'usability'.

There is a RUclips function that allows captions to show or not. Use that.
