With dry gloves, I strongly recommend switching ALL your double-enders over from the tear drop plunger to "Big Grip" plunger tabs, which are SO MUCH EASIER to manipulate. Use the "tear drop' plunger dounble enders for warm(er) water diving with wet gloves that are 5mm or less. Strong work, Mate! WELL DONE!!!
Enjoyed this, well done
Great fins!
5:17 I think your referencing always keep your doubles isolator valve open. When first using doubles and getting a 32% fill I quickly realized this before leaving my dive shop when I gauged my pressure and noticed I was low. Lessons learned, if diving other than air always analyze and check your pressure always before leaving the shop. 🤙🏼🤿😎 Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter
Thanks for sharing, this is both relatable and helpful ❤
Good job, not easy skills. Your trim looked good.
Excellent trim, especially if you are new to twins! Side mount next? You will certainly get used to regulator swaps. Vobster is great for this kind of thing, especially on a quiet day mid-week.
GUE only endorses sidemount at the Cave 2 level.
@@Black6Six Rec side mount has much to offer😊
Well done this is something that I would like to do
Just go for it, and I'm sure you will learn and enjoy!
We are fairly new divers, (check out our videos!) and we are gravitating towards doing a GUE Fundamentals course. We've even had the privilege of doing a fun dive with a GUE instructor which was a super experience!
Nice that he’s rocking a Fathom sticker. Didn’t know they got influence in UK
I did dry drills with ow, aow and wreck padi
when you remove your reg you don't do much bubble in between exchanges.
If you are neutrally buoyant when bringing the reg out, and doing bubbles you may sink. If ascending while bringing the reg out, then it is a good idea to exhale out not to "hold" the breath.
@@annikapersson5087 nope. You don´t blow out a lot of air, but you keep a way open so air can go out in case pressure builds in your lungs. All agencies do that and it`s required.
Reg is out, do small bubbles.
Sorry, my answer above remains, and how we teach and do, regulator exchange in GUE. So saying that all agencies teach ’blow bobles when reg is out, is wrong because not all agencies are tesching it that way.
Just please let me know If you learnt differenty on your Gue instructor training.
@@annikapersson5087 I`m pretty sure about Raid, Padi, SSI.
I wonder why GUE - but you guys are just special - would not open up a way for pressure to escape.
Doesn`t make sense. Reg out, make small bubbles.
Easy.
@@annikapersson5087exactly GUE is training with with a focus of having a strong presence of mind, knowledge and understanding of whats require of an active diver. Not a holiday excursion check the box experience all smashed up in a twenty minute course on the warm water beaches of Tourist Island. 🫣
Gasmonkey must have slipped up there not checking the isolator before filling.
Its the divers responsibility to do a final QC 🤙🏼🤿😎
You lost me at 1degree air and 8 degree water. 😲
