These have officially caught my eye. Looks awesome and I can't wait to get my hands on one.
And I really want to thank you so much for keeping your videos so children can watch them we very much appreciate that God bless you
Thank you! We’re glad you guys enjoyed.
Got the 13 footer on order, cannot wait!👍
Beautiful day out there!!
Love it. You guys were flying. I’ve heard the 170 compact is a blast but we also have two adults and three kids so I was curious if the compact would be too cramped but you guys looked fine
Thank you for the love we all love you too all of your people out there that tune into your channel 🥳
I’m just happy to see the kids wearing PFD
Dude that Switch is awesome
When will the Switch be available in Arizona? They seem like that would a blast on the Colorado River and Lake Havasu.
saw you out on 3 rooker a few days ago on this and wanted to chat, but then drank too much and forgot.. This unit looks like such a friggin blast!!!
So nice be safe everyone
I think it's really cool that it cruises like it does with four adults and a child I've seen other videos with even more people and they're fantastic I'm looking at selling some property off and I would like to get the Sea-Doo switch 18 ft with the 230 horse hell yeah
I wish I can get it here in the UAE but from what I hear, the pre orders are packed!
Need this in my life!!
Looks so fun I need to try this thing out
Let’s Go!!!!
@@FloridaSkiRiders can you do a video putting this back on the trailer? Would love to see. My wife and I struggle with putting our current pontoon on. This looks like it would be much easier.
Can’t wait to take it out again. This thing is so fun!!
I missed the boat, so to speak, for '22...... apparently the little buggers sold out the first day they were available for pre-order! Pair of Fish Pros coming home for next year instead...... I'll get over it! Looks like an awesome day out!
If you want one, Talbot Powersports in Maryland has a few order slots left.
I just got one. Wonder why they sold-out so fast in your area
even tried 4 different dealers
@@dereknichols3571 awesome, thanks, just fired off an email to 'em. Fingers crossed. I'm in Washington State, but we might be able figure something out!
Question: Fish finder has been mentioned in many videos I've seen throughout youtube. However when I tried to build this online there is 0 mention of fish finder being an option.
What I could find is the following: The Sport model comes with the Garmin Unit - however the only feature available by default is the GPS for some mind boggling reason, I think its probably the least useful feature on the "Sport" edition. I was able to see 2 options for Transducers one is labelled "Depth Finder" $479.99 and has an extremely vague description.. basically says it tells you the depth and displays on your gauge menu, the other option is the Garmin Gt15 Transducer (Which is a depth finder) and its a very lengthy description of an in-hull mounted transducer for accurate depth finding even at high speeds but it is only $399.99... not sure why its cheaper or why the first was so vague.
Fish finders are generally also depth readers, Is this "Depth Finder" also a Fish Finder? I assume the Garmin unit itself isn't setup to be able to fish find without one of these transducer options?
More information on this would be great!
Fun! You took it up that little river so weren't you worried about water depth or possibly sucking something up into the impeller? How did that shorter on handle the waves?
Had no issues, other then watching clearance on Bimini top
Dope!! I want one bad!! 🔥
We got one coming!!! Let’s go!!!!
Have they been able to establish fuel economy yet? I know typical is 1-4 mpg but I’m very interested in this for traveling up and down the inter coastal in south Florida and would love to know how far I can go before refueling.
Looking at trying to pick one of these up this week. I can't decide if I should go with the 18 or the compact. I purchased a toy hauler for my family thinking we would "all" have a good time camping.......is always just me and the wife. Are you guys comfortable with the compact?
Have you done any water sports on it yet? Looks like a blast!
Yes we’ve been tubing on it check out some of the other videos
Our family lives on that lake. Maybe we’ll see you out there.
We’ll be back out there 14th 🚀💦
Love the videos. I am in the market for a pontoon. I have been told that one of the advantages of a pontoon with outboard is ease of winterization. Many people here on lakes in Georgia winterize them on their boatlifts and when a really nice day comes along in November thru March, they take the boat out for the day and then re-winterize. What is the winterization process for the Switch?
It would be the same as a regular Sea-Doo winterization process. Very easy
awesome
So can you upgrade the motor and everything on that Sea-Doo switch you know like they put turbo charges and stuff on the Sea-Doos can you do the same thing with those
do you take it between salt water and fresh water? if so, could you do a video about how you flush it and prepare it to go from salt to fresh?
Yes, full flush and wash down video coming
Hi, I live near Lake Tarpon. I bought my Spark from Cycle Springs and was wondering where I can see one of these up close and personal? My wife won't let me buy one until she can check it out
We will have it back out on Lake Tarpon on the 14th
@@FloridaSkiRiders Ok, cool. I spoke with Trent from Cycle Springs and he said it would be January before they start getting shipments.
Hope you are getting paid from seadoo. Enjoying your videos and now I want this exact one so bad. I’m in your area so let me know when you’re ready to sell this one. ;)
How do you honestly feel about the trigger handle for acceleration? Does it get hard to hold all the time? Is it a pain? Or maybe you don’t mind it.
Honestly!! I love it! It’s what I’m used to from riding a Sea-Doo it made it more playful and fun. Also kept all the functions right at my fingertips
FYI the production version does have real cruise control, so you can lock in a set speed and NOT have to hold the trigger.
@@KeithStarr you still have to hold the trigger. All the way, but constant speed remains.
What's the top speed of these?
The wake appears pretty small at the top speeds. Are there any speeds that produce a wake suitable for wakeboarding?
Keep in mind this is the compact smallest version.
@@FloridaSkiRiders what engine on this one?
@@ericporter2373 170hp
Can you tell us length on trailer? Being able to fit it in the garage may be the deciding factor.
Yes, we’ll measure
@@FloridaSkiRiders Also the height please!
spec sheet says 16' long with trailer. 8'2" height.
How’s that coral color look in person? It looks really orange on my phone when I’m watching the video.
It’s red in person.
Online it looks good . In real life it looks red. I ended up going with the yellow one !!
What is the top speed on the compact with the 170 and the 5 people?
I’ve asked, no ones answering. It has a Garmin, so answering is easy.
A year later, do you have any regrets in purchasing the switch? Buyers remorse?
The switch we had was a prototype and we beat it up good. Zero issues and loved every minute of it.
Just ordered my 21’ cruise 230. Have you heard anything about the fuel economy
Guessing about 19 GPH of fuel at the rated top speed of 44 MPH would give you 2.3 MPG at full throttle. Around 3 mpg at cruising speeds would be a safe bet. These engines are efficient for the power produced but you lose around 1/3 of it in the jet drive. Just my conservative guess.
If you can afford the boat, you can afford the fuel! Lol!
I hope Sea-Doo will have sea trials days where potential buyers can get a closer look and try it before they plunk down so much money.
I’m sure there will be some test ride events around the states
Does this model have cruise control?
Does this little heart affirm cruise control?
That canal was rough water 🌊 by your standards?
No, glass on that Canal.
Do we know how shallow it can go?
We had it off plant in 3 feet of water
Can I take it through Haulover?
Let’s Go!! 🚀💦
Question: Some people say Seadoo is cheap plastic and this is a poor excuse of a pontoon. Comments like "If you want a boat built by lego and want to fix it every year, get a switch". I think this looks awesome and am ready to go for it, but at $30,000 I want to be sure the haters are wrong about "bad quality pontoon that will cost more to fix"
We’ve had this one going on a year. We’ve tried to break its absolutely durable. We also keep it outside on purpose to see how it holds up in this Florida sun. Zero issues as of yet.
@@FloridaSkiRiders that's great to hear, thanks for the response
Can the Switch pull an adult water skier?
Yes. Absolutely
What was the top speed ? For the one 170hp
44 mph
@@FloridaSkiRiders thank you 👍🏽 do you no if you can add a swim platform on the back of the compact sport
Whats the top speed
44-45 fully loaded
What are your impressions of the 100hp version?
We have not had a chance to test it yet we will have one for testing very soon
I don't think BRP will ever be able to catch up.with the demand for these.
That’s a good problem to have
Take that guy has it wrong on his video I'm not sure but isn't the Sea-Doo switch sport the 18 ft with the 230 horsepower rotek not the 170
Love all these videos but I'm sorry but who doesn't make their sandwiches BEFORE going out on the lake?
Lol, we were busy traveling. Had to do it on the go.
No GPS??
Yes it has a Garmen GPS
@@FloridaSkiRiders you’re avoiding the question. How fast did it go with the whole family on there?
@@alexnutcasio936 avoiding the question?? You asked if it had GPS. Be more clear on your question!! No we did not GPS speed test it. But the speedometer read 44-45
@@FloridaSkiRiders as an experienced ski rider, you know that non-gps ski speedos are notoriously inaccurate. What do you think? Did Sea Doo tell you not to disclose performance figures.? 45 seems very optimistic with five on board , gas and only 170 HP.
@@alexnutcasio936 I’m going by dash we were able to hit 44-45 I’ll GPS it next week
Had my boat for 5 years Worse decision ever.... Spent a fortune on repairs....plus all your friends just want to freeload hang around to drink and then leave right after...short arms and deep pockets
Stop pointing at the lenses of the cameras.
