That looked really good. I don't trust myself with a spray gun, so I'm going for the roller; it'll be under carpet so it doesn't matter how it looks. Thanks for the video.
Good idea. thx for posting. I think it's smart to add a layer of corrosion-resistance to any metal vehicle floor. Toyota does something similar in their factories to the underneath of their trucks with a good thick layer of a product. My V6 Toyota truck was the quietest ride ever because of it. They probably have a good layer of goop on the inside floor as well. Good weekend project.
I did that to my yj. Damn it really got hot inside the jeep with the radiant heat through the floor from the exhaust and transmission. Starting another build now and I'm def gonna keep the sound deadner and maybe a rubber floor this time around
Did you notice a big difference in noise when driving before and after? I'm thinking about doing this to my JK but a major factor for me is road noise, and I'm not sure how much the OEM carpet dampens that. Any idea? Thanks!
Cool dude..! Do you think this stuff would work well on my jeep safari rack? I took it off once and scratched the shit out of it on the concrete and it's starting to get a little rust going on.
Does this kit come with an option to add your own color like the Raptor? I just sprayed the TJ with Raptor and used 3 bottles. It picked up 15hp by doing this mod!
I'm a little concerned about doing something permanent to my jeep TJ. I already tore out the carpet due to allergies. I'm wondering two things: First, does the liner give off a smell at any temperature? Second, does it insulate the heat coming up from the floor? With no carpet the A/C is almost ineffective in hot weather as the metal floor gets very hot while driving. I was looking at other options but keep coming back to the spray on liner -Thanks
for the first week or so of driving, it gives a smell, the new paint just melting in. after that, you wont ever notice. it does help insulate the heat for sure. the transmission gets hot, and you will notice it under the shifter, as it can get hot. but it absolutely helps keep that out, while also keeping heat in. (though, carpet would be much more effective)
absolutely, anything really "helps" it adds thickness to the meatl, and when it is softer like bedliner or dynomat, it stops sound from traveling. granted... it's not going to be a huge difference, but there is a difference. keep in mind the factory carpet would be better for sound deadening.
Everybody being negative about the AFTER but i thought it was staged or meant to look like that on purpose to show how well it stayed after at least a few weeks of REAL use. What i was curious about was how long did it take to look like the "finished" product. No judgement here. Mine might look like that in 2 minutes after the kids get in.
bobloblaw10001 It's not my video but the answer is the same regardless. Different year models and different options will always be different from one vehicle to the next. Unless you got the exact year with the exact same options on your vehicle. It's really not a hard job to do.
+TheAmericanUhate The title of this video is bedling your Jeep. The Jeep in question is clearly a JK. So that narrows it down a bit. When I lift up the carpet on the passenger side rear seat for example (I have a 4 door X model) I see wiring with an accordian sort of wrapping/conduit running toward the back, perhaps for the trailer lights, or speakers. This will more likely than not be present on other JK trim levels as well. I'm just looking for ideas for relocating or encasing wiring when doing such a project. Your answer was patronizing and useless, on a fairly useless video.
bobloblaw10001 There is 9 years of JK's available. Some with 2 doors, some with 4 doors. Some with power windows, some with out. Some with other different power options, some with out. If you lift up the carpet and see wiring, then you know to move it. Run the wiring under the door steps or you could drill a small hole, use a grommet, and run them under the vehicle along the frame rails. My answer is the answer you're going to get from anyone you ask on the internet. It's fairly common sense on how to do this, remove the parts, a light sanding, bed liner, put parts back. If you want to relocate wiring, then do so. It's not that hard of a job to do.
Justin Hitch yes, carpet MUST come out in order to do this mod. carpet is very easy to remove, and only takes a few minutes and you can remove it entirely without damaging it.
Ha you asked the question that I am sure is on many peoples mind. I too am dying to know the story behind the lamp. I am imagining a crossed-lover screaming at him and chasing him out of the house, while he snatches the lamp off the side table running out of the door yelling "Well this lamp is mine and I am taking it with me!!". Then tossing it in the back of his jeep as he peels out... And there the lamp has stayed ever since.
I feel like I got punked by this video. No showing of how you did the prep work or the spraying and then to end with the Jeep looking like a filthy mess. What was 5 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
always smoke a joint before and after, cleans lungs and respiratory system from paint fumes
That looked really good. I don't trust myself with a spray gun, so I'm going for the roller; it'll be under carpet so it doesn't matter how it looks. Thanks for the video.

awesome! found my weekend project!! thanks🖒
I did that to my yj. Damn it really got hot inside the jeep with the radiant heat through the floor from the exhaust and transmission. Starting another build now and I'm def gonna keep the sound deadner and maybe a rubber floor this time around
Do you use your jeep for a trash can
todd wagoner stupid comment
Better than out the window....
@@TheLootownpunx um i was thinking the same as Todd...c'mon man, you did all that work and now look at it
@@lookin4work You dont shit where you eat.
agreed, guys a complete moron and shouldnt own a jeep
Been waiting for this vid!!!
Great video and great result...
I’ve heard that you can use dry ice get get rid of the sound stuff
iv had raptor liner for over two years.. think this stuff would be good to do over top? few spots I wanna redo...after a chemical clean obviously
heat gun and a hand chisel all I used for the sound proofing. 10min done those 5 spots.
Did you notice a big difference in noise when driving before and after? I'm thinking about doing this to my JK but a major factor for me is road noise, and I'm not sure how much the OEM carpet dampens that. Any idea? Thanks!
What do you do about wiring in the floorboard? whats the best way to cover the wiring up without making the floorboard look bad once you spray it?
Very cool u make it look easy thx
what did you do to prep or spray around the wiring harness, and the holes for all the bolts?
Does it help with sound deadening? It's not the main purpose for it, but does it make a difference at all?
Cool dude..! Do you think this stuff would work well on my jeep safari rack? I took it off once and scratched the shit out of it on the concrete and it's starting to get a little rust going on.

kswyg yes, they have the option to tint their spray. I personally have not seen it done properly, so i can not speak on its effectiveness.
What about the drain holes? Mine has a couple drain holes in the foot wells in the passenger seats. Was just curious how that turned out
Would you recommend using a primer before hand?
I am thinking about doing this to my truck does it hold up good.... like actually last not peel off and seem to be worth it.... ???
what type of Air compressor did you use?
How did you hide the wires coming from the brake lights
How is the echo? Does having the carpet out make it louder?
That was cool. Thanks.
Did they liner dampen the sound much?
does this kit include the lamp?
How'd you get in around the little back tucked in area where the tool kits supposed to go
Matthew Martin I don't bother going inside there. Get what you can. It's a waste of product to spray in there. Can't see it. Won't affect anything.
Those chisel are amazing for floor work wood
Not crap
What's the name of the product you used
The center consoles no biggie, but for me it the damn bolts on my seats. Its rusted, stripped and some crazy star bolt pattern. UURRGGGGGG!! X (
Why didn't you remove the center console......

Link for the product?

Branden Ludski if I paid you would you do mine
Hey I wanna do my ford focus think this will work
how many bottles do you need for a JKU
WHYTJK typically 3 will work, but i would recommend all 4. the bottles are cheap, and I personally would rather have too much than too little.

hey dude are you in the springs?
No, just outside Denver.
Damn all that work just to shit it up again
Is that a safe product free of MDI?
That's what i was wondering
Did you need to relocate any wiring? This is a pretty good "hey look at this" video but doesn't seem to be a complete how to.
+bobloblaw10001 Depends on your vehicle.
+TheAmericanUhate I asked about what you did on yours.
bobloblaw10001 It's not my video but the answer is the same regardless. Different year models and different options will always be different from one vehicle to the next. Unless you got the exact year with the exact same options on your vehicle. It's really not a hard job to do.

@0:50 Denatured alcohol!
should used raptor liner
Jeff Nations what’s the difference
Dude there's a lamp under your seat ... I don't get it man. doesn't that belong in the casa?

I don’t never see anybody look out say to check the under side for rust cause if there is what you just did Will be a waste of your time
