Tutorial overall was so-so, but the leggings were a 10/10.
If they were click bait.... I am officially caught.
5:10 omg
Guyyyleee
Ah I'd say flex seal work just as good
That's hilarious.
Just realize I don’t even have a truck yet I’m watching this lol.
Same here bro. Somehow I managed to not retain any information....
Dude puts ol lady in tinker bell tights like all the damn views are for the cheeks
It's the leggings.
Same here man! hahahha..
Absolutely beautiful job. I'm blown away. I have never seen a home liner that looked this good.
I miss these old style videos really made it feel like anyone could do it and it showed how doing it yourself save you a lot of money to put into another modification. really humble feel
Let's all be honest here. We all came for the blond in leggings.
That ass tho , good lord
No the libtard men came to protest that ass ! Lol
Zane Wiggs to bad she wasn’t in it much 🤔
Off course
You’re right! I was so disappointed 😔
That looks surprisingly good.
Pickup bed is nice too.
Wigen I see what you did there 😄
They know what they’re doing. Videos of old dudes( no girl) spraying raptor get only a handful of views
It's super thin and if you're rough we the bed it wont last. Get what you pay for.
@@jdrafts32 wait, which bed are you talking about? And I don’t know what you’ve been told, but I’m a perfect gentleman. No rough stuff. I mean, if that’s what you want.
Wait, there was a truck in this video? :)
This is high quality, grade A, supreme. The bed liner tutorial wasn't bad either.
Just did my 2021 Colorado this last weekend. Used your video for guidance....turned out amazing. Well worth the time for prep to save the money....
I don’t even have anything to bed line... butt I finished the video
AzPaintballerz after reading this comment I realized I too..don’t have anything to bed line and must have just came for the booty
I bet some people pause the video at 3:40 and lined there bed with seman haha
You just came here for the thumbnail. Me too I drive a Prius
Bahahhhaa. I see what you did there.
😂😂😂😂
5:09 you’re welcome
That ass😍😍
I appreciate your service sir
Thank you. Only reason I’m watching this
MOBILE COLLEGE 🍑🍑❤️
Bro I legit watched a good 4 videos for that moment
Great job! And to have your lady helping is a double plus.
It looks awesome. You guys did an excellent job. I'm at a point in life where I'll just pay a shop the extra 300 bucks to do all that prep work, though. Sanding shit for hours and hours sucks ass. But there was a time when I would have done it. You definitely feel some pride in it when you do it yourself. Excellent job. Anyone looking at it would think it was "professionally" done.
Damn that looks nice! Bed liner turned out ok too.
😂😂😂😂😂
My thoughts exactly :)
There was a bed liner?
What bedliner?
the bedliner is @ 5:10
Leggings.. the greatest gift to mankind
@Waylon Miller That's kinda like going to a backwoods Appalachian strip club and complaining about the quality of strippers
There aught to be a weight limitation on leggings though.
Yes!
there're three things that don't lie in this world "Kids, Drunks, and Legging." LOL
the gift that keeps on giving!!
Great tutorial and awesome job!!! Looks awesome. Have to admit, though. Just paid $500 to get mine professionally done. It was the prep work that would’ve killed me. Again, great job to both of you. Looks professional.
If I can pay $95K for a new truck I'm sure I can afford to pay a professional to do it right with a lifetime warranty. By the time you add the kit and supplies that were bought it was more like $300 and he recommended using two kits so that would have put the total more like $450-$500. I could see doing this to a wheel barrow, UTV or old beater truck. Not hating on the guy. I'd risk messing up my truck to impress that Girl and spend time with Her.
@@williamdebow3478 you answered most questions i had regarding this video. I just bought an AT4 and I'm going to pay to have it done. Saves the headache
Well, you guys got me sold! I was about to take my truck bed to Line-X company for $775 to get the top coated! Just ordered my kit! Thanks guys!
Hey Line-X I believe sprays on in a heated state and dries quickly allowing multiple coats in short time and build up thickness.
You made this look fairly easy to do. Obviously the prep is most important. The finished truck bed looks great! Thanks
I don't know about the prep work, burn throughs and un primed bare metal everywhere. Not even a sprinkle of etch anywhere 😱
Looks good, thanks for the video. One thing I may say is...I've had good luck with adhesion with different coatings & paints using course Scotchbrite pads. All you need to achieve adhesion is to knock off the gloss and create micro-scratches in the surface and they work into the nooks & crannies much better. Wipe down with acetone or surface prep product and off you go. You are then still leaving a coat of paint beneath rather than bare metal, a little extra protection down the like as the liner gets scratched through it's thickness. All-in-all, great job, you guys put in some work.
Definitely need more videos like this it Definitely helps me convince my gf she can do projects like this too
Thanks to you I ended up buying this exact kit. Im already knowledgeable about paint spraying and have an industrial size construction compressor. But this video is more than enough to give me an idea of what ill be needing. Thanks for saving me approximately 400$
07:55 now that’s a nice bumper.
More like tail gate...
That ass😍
More like rear end...
Not gonna lie, that’s a pretty good job. That looks professional 👌🏻
thanks for staying on point, especially at 5:10. very informative
Indeed.
Good day to you, gentlemen.
more info at 3:40
Oh my GOD...I had a hard time concentrating! 😂 I was kinda mad when the boyfriend took over
that is where she added the hardener
She turned out great, and the liner job is not bad too!
Yes a ford woman, and she likes to help work, a very hard find, I added, that looks really great, thanks for sharing your video
5:09 you’re welcome boys 🤣
Excellent video bro, thanks for the recommendations.
Appreciate the video, really helped with equipment and cleaning choices. Turned out nice
i used Raptor liner about 10 years ago on my truck and it still looks decent there are a few spots that have chipped from heavy use but have not t-up those areas yet. you guys absolutely took your time and did the prep work correctly i just double taped everything then i used a sand blaster and went over it lightly until it all looked pretty well scuffed!! its much faster with the sand blaster so find a friend or borrow, steal and beg for one because it took me like 30 minutes to blast it all!!!!
7:52 is why you're all here
For sure one of the best bed liner that I’ve ever seen.
The Line-x coating on my f350 is a good 1/4 to 3/8" thick I actually took a chunk out my 10-year-old liner with the tip of a shovel that's how I know how thick it is, it's definitely worth the money Line-X machines spray it on at 180 degrees or more it is a stronger product more industrial if your hauling gravel and stuff like that. That said you did a great job it looks beautiful and a good coating for the home truck owner. I use this for doing the side of the frame in the wheel wells on the wheel wells themselves I did an old school impala firewall with this stuff, lift kits and suspension parts and if it gets damaged you can easily grab a can and renew and touch up the whole undercarriage every year or two with a can of this stuff, It's awesome.
Yeah I did the same thing to my ford ranger and my f-150 and my tool box. This stuff is amazing
UPOL (the maufacturer of the Raptor kit) also recommends priming any bare metal or sand thru areas, then using an adhesion promoter, BEFORE spraying the liner. Also need to apply multiple thin coats, allowing 15-20 minutes flash time between coats. Also, trucks usually don't come with a "factory" spray in liner. They are sourced out by the dealer to places like Line-X, or dealer installed.
All in all, good video, and Raptor is a good product. I've done probably 2 dozen or more, with great results.
Does it stick to plastics?
Chevrolet does factory spray in liners and has for years. I had my first one in 2016. They're sprayed by robots in the factory.
Thank you for making this video is very helpful. Just bought one of these kits from Amazon. Going to spray one of our work trucks today.
I did that for years. On many trucks. Used Gator Guard then Monsta Liner. They held up well for a working pickup. You can touch them up as well.
that actually turned out looking good. I used to spray liner for leonards. You should have taken your bed bolts and tail gate screws out first though. The spray on the bolts usually end up peeling off if you use the bed alot. Another trick is to use a razor blade and cut between the bolts and actual bed so if it peels it won't spread to the bed.
Dude your tools storage is crazy . Harbor has there tool cart in your GREEN !!! 220.00 love your vids dude
That looks AWESOME!
NICELY DONE!!!
I legitimately found this looking for Raptor liner instruction. This is the only tutorial I've watched multiple times for some reason.
3:40 shows proper sanding technique!!!
Noice
soo hot🍑
Let's not forget 3:31
Mind Bottling 😍
5:10 👍🏻
I am in the planning stage for Raptoring the body of my '02 Dakota Quad Cab. I've have a plastic Pendaliner in my bed for over 18 years. I've been in the trades for years. In my experience, for rough use, such as a landscaper shoveling material from the bed, hauling stone, rocks etc. I've found the plastic one piece slip in bedliners to be much more durable than surface spray or brush on products. The spray on is great for grip, but the slickness of the one piece plastic has the edge in ease of moving material. As for the job you just did, it looks great.
Traps more water though
@@brianpacheco1927 My truck is coming up on 20 years with a liner, and no rust at all in the bed.
Awesome and well explained video. Bought a kit and will be spraying it on, thanks for the recommendation.
Man that looks fantastic! Great job and product!
Ryan I'm thinking of doing this to my whole 4th gen 4Runner. I really appreciate this video. Don't worry about the haters unfortunately they will always exist.
Hey this can be done very easy I have done a black one, and a tinted one with red paint, one recommendation, a 4 bottle kit will "work" but it is way better to use 6 cans on a bed. totally worth the extra coin. they hold up really nice.
"For a couple hours in your garage." Looked like it took all day and far into the night.
Recording, from bloopers to behind the scenes. Recording a good how to video ain't easy.
Lol exactly the late night crickets are even chirping 🤣😂
It is like doing your garage floor… all in the prep! Many CAN do a great job themselves, but very few will. I always PAY for the things I want done 100% correct, and DO the things I don’t have as much heartburn with myself. Line-X is Line-X for a reason… they do it well AS LONG AS YOU SELCT A GOOD INSTALLER!!!
She did a good job, she worked the entire time., She’s a keeper.
Thanks a lot! Been wanting to do this to my truck
7:53 You're Welcome!
Fantastic video bro 💪🏼. I want to add this to my detail business
great , thank you so much for showing an alternative to this so expensive Line X
Just the video I was lookin for! Thanks 🙏 oh and your sister looks 👍 great 👀👀😜
Ya its the prep work that has kept me from doing mine I remember seeing this kind of stuff like 5 years ago but ya beds have a lot of low spots if it was flat not so bad
Amazing, good job looks straight forward
That bed liner looks really good. It looks OEM.
That looks amazing. You guys did a great job. I'll be doing this.
How’d it go?
Looks great! But then everything looks great when it's new. would love to see it after a year of everyday use. Then the real results will be revealed.
Made feel confident enough to do it myself. Great video.
bed turned out really good. ima have to buy this and give it a try.
Phenomenal, looks Fantastic .

very good information on the truck bed liner kit!! Thank you!

That is absolutely a strange thing to me.....not to drive a pick up truck..... I find it strange to drive a SUV or a especially a car.. I have never owned a car ...
I ordered the same kit for my truck. I followed your steps and it turned out great! Thanks!
How much overspray was there
@@williamharris631 none I spent over an hour prepping with plastic drop cloth and taping just like in the video
What compressor do you have?
@@jes8414 just a basic 5 gallon rigid brand compressor
The bed looks great! Thanks for the vid guys.
You two did an awesome job spraying that bedliner!!!
Hi, this looks great, what size air compressor did you use? Can it be done with a regular 6 gallon pancake compressor?
The only thing I would’ve done differently would be to take the bolts out spray the bed then put the bolts back in. Looks great!
Bed bolts can’t be reused. All the shops spray over them.
Great advice. Thanks!
I love this stuff. Sprayed my Jeep bumpers and gas tank skid plate. And recently sprayed my Tacoma's hard plastic OEM tonneau cover that was faded. The stuff does not fade, looks great and it is easy to do. I might even do the Tacoma bed even tho it's a composite and not metal. Nice video.
5:10 thank me later
Dame she fine
thanks bro...
@jay garcia what u mean too breaf??
@jay garcia there was a few camera shots.. from diff. Angles. Like 3 all together. Just hit pause.
Or play at .5 the speed.
I have a Line-X spray-in liner, and I have to say this looks very similar. Actually, it looks great. Great job on the prepping.
Hard to beat the line-x lifetime warranty though
OUTSTANDING!
LOOKS GREAT!
That looks great!! Bedliner looks ok too.
3:41 was the highlight
Definitely Highlight reel

Dude you've got the perfect wife or girlfriend. Congrats
Lol
Can she cook? Hold an intellectual conversation? There’s more to it than just looks.
@@seanf6968 There are?
Grant Zelenick yes, men these days need to hold a higher standard and not just find a hot chick that can make them cum. No disrespect to him or his lady. But to the rest of the fellows who want a trophy placed on a pedestal.
That's the "betaest" "simpest" comment ever SMH
wow! made that look easy... great job!!
Good vid! I did my truck in 3 hours. Almost no prep, although i know that is key!! Better than it was and it will last a few years!!
Great video 👍 Ryan I click as soon as I see you post keep up the great content
Friend of mine just raptor lined his entire XJ with the tintable version in a creme color
Great looking job! Like most things it’s usually labour that makes things more expensive. Being handy and making the time big money saver.
That came out AWESOME
3:39 your welcome
She is one extraordinarily blessed young lady...... Wow.
Great video guys!!
I'm planning on doing that on my 2012 F350, but I'll definitely need 6,8 bottles.
I owed a concrete bussines.
Thank you so much for the video...
Good work! Power couple!!! Im going to try it in my truck!
I was laughing because at first when sanding gf had no mask on and u did I was like wtf lol. But I see later when spraying she had mask. And too add onto the on slaught of compliments u will get. Good for u she is AAAA++++ very cute Lock that down lol
I thought it was cool to see her willing to help him a girl lile that is pretty cool normally a loyal one too if she enjoys working on trucks with you or just doing it to be around you... So i could say good girl and lucky dude.. I work on cars for a living i do paint & auto body my daughter's mother i couldn't get her in the shop at all but my 1st n second girlfriend growing up both shared a love for cars with me boy i miss that being you're girlfriend n best friend is a bonus for sure
Came here for the girl and actually watched the entire vid and enjoyed it!! I have an aftermarket professional bedliner that only cost me $400 but I have a small tear in it (pallet drug across with a nail in it) that I need to patch and this looks like it will do the trick!!
If you had it done professionally, most come with a lifetime warranty. My shop would take care of that for you.
I used Raptor lining on my whole truck. An autobody supply store can tint the color to anything you choose. Came out awesome and you can't scratch it period.
Yep you gotta whack it with epoxy before spraying the liner imho.
Looks awesome. Great video!
DuUde, that looks professional....you 2 killed it! Could you update us in a month or so..?
Well, looks like I’m the only one who was interested on the bed liner alone.
I did this to my truck great stuff. You do not half to sand like crazy like he did. Crazy great stuff
Looks real nice afterwards, good job👍🏼
Everyone’s talking about the cake but I came here for the tutorial. I’ve been debating whether or not to do this for my bed
Dont its finicky look at how thin it is it wont last check the bolts on here and look at a real bedliner does not compare. Plus they started in the morning and ended in the middle of the night. Time money get it professionally done with a warranty.
@@hectormunoz945 Maybe you just didn't do it right. iv done my own bed and its been 2 years and its held up every minute.
Maybe I don't own a compressor or a grinder to scuff the paint and plus I would have to buy tarps and personal protection to apply this liner if I add up the cost and time. I would have to be an idiot unless I am doing this as a side business...
@@hectormunoz945 although I haven’t done this on my bed, I still have raptor liner on my hood, topper, and gas cap cover and they’ve all held up perfectly for the last 2+ years. It all depends on how much you apply and how you apply it.
@@hectormunoz945 then use more than one kit, says that if you want a thicker lining to use 2 kits 🤦♂️🤷♂️
😂😂😂 love how Ryan drops her tailgate twice. RIP FORD TAILGATE...Easy Ryan you’ll break it.
I honestly forgot it wasn’t gonna go down slowly both times 😂😂😂😂
You knocked that out of the park man. Nice work.
YEARS AGO,
I had an F250 that I bought a bed liner kit for. I put it on, but, after a short time I saw it was getting scratched.
I was bummed. Some years later I bought a new F350. I hated to pay the $500 but I delivered it to
a LINE-X shop & they sprayed it in. 11 years I owned that truck. Mostly, it was used to haul our 3500lb 10ft
truck camper. We would slide it in & slide it out. Dozens of times. The day I traded it, I happen to notice the
bed lining looked just as it had been the day we bought it. Yeah, I hated what it cost me, BUT, in the end I had
to admit it was worth every penny. Thats why today, when we pick up our new Ford Maverick we are
delivering it directly to the LINE-X dealer.
An F250 makes a read STUPID daily driver. It burns WAY too much gas. The oil co are plenty rich enough.
What your girl needs is A Maverick or maybe a Santa Cruz.
