    the sensor ring also improves the glide whenever you run out of mousepad space and go over the top or bottom edge of the pad with one skate. It effectively adds +5cm with alright glide to the bottom and top of the pad. Ideally you shouldn't have to rely on this but it has saved me a few times

    2:45 The sensor ring in the Viper Mini is not actual mouse skates, it's a piece of plastic mold together with the bottom shell. While it also serves the purpose of sensor consistency, it could have been better if it's mouse skates rather than a plastic that makes the Viper Mini scratchy around the sensor when the top and bottom mouse skates are worn out.

    I have the xtrfy m4 and it came with a ring sensor separated in the box, after playing for couple months without the ring sensor then i placed it i felt my aim become so bad, i feel like it become harder to control the mouse since its really light mouse, im thinking of removing ring sensor

      Yeah they add some drag, especially if the old skates are worn in more. Give it a few days and see how you like it.

    Are there any skates that are really close to the mouse? I use the Razer Mamba Elite and I feel the skates are almost as low as the mouse itself.

    Corepads for the superlight are 1mm thick and the sensor ring or the puck are 0.8mm so they don't even make contact

      Sensor ring is actually somewhat often thinner than the original feet, as it's mostly just there to keep the sensor-to-surface distance from getting too small!

    can I just cut the tiger ice feet for my viper mini to size to fit my pulsar xlite v2? i have a spare set and don't know what to do with it and i am having trouble finding the right skates for the xlite in my country. they only have pulsar glass in stock right now.

    Do you know if the tiger ice goes well on the logitech g pro x, there are no sensor problems? changing all the feet

      They should be fine as long as you properly remove the stock feet!

      You can't know for sure, the spec sheet is from Pixart and it has been deleted from the link I used.

      It's definitely worth it to buy aftermarket feet with that setup. Tiger arcs are good with GPW 💪.

      Stick with the stock feet! They are good, otherwise corepads

    Which are smoother with G-SR-SE? Here in Italy I have no way to get Hyperglide (maxgaming no longer ship here..). I ask it because I notice that G-Skatez on my Model O- are a bit more scratchy compared to my Hyperglide on my ZA13. Great video by the way!

      Yeah default skates definitely feel worse on the G-SR-SE compared to aftermarket ones. All work fine, you should be able to order Corepads from their webshop or Tiger arcs from itaktech.     Since the viper mini has a high LOD, can I put aftermarket feet on top of the stock feet to reduce the LOD and prevents the plastic ring to touch the mousepad?

      I wouldn't decrease the LOD that way, you'll lose precision. Use the tape trick. Google it if you've never heard of it

    Wish I had seen this video before i removed my zowie default O ring and put some corepads mosue feet and O ring. Literally my sensor mouse had delay spinouts and changing dpi by itsel because of the aftermarket O ring. Do not remove default O rings from mice like me without knowing this.

    is it true that the tiger ark v2 on zowie s2 have sensor problems?

      I haven't tried Tiger Arc v2:s on most mice, so I can't confirm. If they are thicker than the Hyperglides/Corepads and Tiger Arc v1:s it might be the case, but I very much doubt it.

      @@n1elsen Yes there is a break-in period for most Xtrfy feet. Takes something like 2-7 days for the feet to break in

    Hi, i just got the viper ultimate and the feet always feel like theyre scratching on my mousepad (qck heavy). Should i get some different skates, or should i let them wear in? Ive heard good things about the viper ultimate stock feet, so would you thing there would be a big difference from stock to corepads or tiger arcs?

      Hey, second hand feet should improve your experience especially if you have some scratchiness ors. The Viper Ultimate feet on my replacement unit are very good, no need to replace whatsoever in my opinion

    Just ordered mouseskates for my BenQ ec2a from corepads after playing for 5 years with the default... hopefully I’ll feel the difference

      you will definitely feel a difference, trust me. I have a ZA12 and I got corepads and the difference was HUGE for me. Got more consistent though.

      The sensor ring is basically useless for me, it's not there to provide glide but it's there to provide consistent sensor to surface distance. You don't need one with 99% of the mousepads.

      @@hausgaming I bring from the USA or Europe, since we do not have anything like this in stock. The most round ones are the Hyper Glade, but they don't have a leg around the sensor and I don't like that. They are the most expensive, mid-priced Corepad and the cheapest are Tiger Geming

    I sanded off my Viper Mini's sensor ring thinking that it would create an unsatisfactory gliding experience when I was changing its stock skates with Tiger Arc Ice Skates not knowing its true purpose. Thank goodness for the tape mod.
