Because the amethysts in armour give barrier generation, which is the best possible damage increase for spiritborn. Much better than eg emeralds for crit damage in weapon.
Because Amethyst on armor grant Barrier Generation, and there is a paragon node that gives you tons of dmg based on how much barrier you have. Also, the dmg bonus from gems on weapons is additive, not multiplicative, so a "72% crit dmg" from emerald only gives you like 2-3% more dps

@@Cole98_only base cost, not modified costs. It is 35 vigor for quill no matter what, so 240 vigor to make thr game think you are spending 275 vigor each cast.
@@Wrtlskrscht Must work via resource cost reduction or something similar? It won't change the value of the item but I guess if you do the calculations on what % you have that would then tell you your vigor needed? maybe?
is the overpower version stronger? i get it “duh it’s called overpower”, just wondering if it’s worth it to switch since i already got my Tyrael’s
I have a lot more resource gen than i would need for it to work (calculator sheet says 147% total where 100% is needed) yet i still get white damage numbers on screen. Weird is that the biggest hits im making (about 1 Trillion) are shown as non-crits. is it bugged maybe?
but why does my vigor not go up when i use the basic skill ?
Don’t know if this’ll get answered, but i have all the proper gear and stats for this, but my vigor all of a sudden shoots to 0 and i gotta build it back up. What could be causing this
Hey man not sure if you'll see this but for the touch of death guide, why are we stacking gorilla damage and taking alot of strength nodes at the colossal glyph, since we doing primary Jaguar now and no longer harmony helm, we only got one gorilla skill and thats armored hide, sorry if I'm missing something
Block chance → poison dmg bonus for key passive noxious
@@timothysoh9102 colossal doesnt give block chance, I mean why gorilla damage so much at step 3 paragon
@@joshualevy8766it’s because of the second glyph bonus: 2% damage [x] per resolve stack.
When you have 30 resolve stacks this means 60% [x].
The gorilla damage isn’t used at all in this new setup 😅
@@Steph1 Ya but then why stack strength on that glyph?
@@nicholasbright6742 not sure, good question. Maybe he just forgot to claim those few points back because he didn’t need them elsewhere and is just trying to crank out content.
The sheet is not working for me... :(
Great explanaton as always! I don't get why you put resource cost reduction on your amulet an ring in your rake build, mind to briefly explain?
So to confirm, this calculator is letting me use a ring of midnight sun with 38% because it still has me at like 122% resource gen. Is that correct? am I wasting tempers on resource gen? I have that on my amulet instead of move speed because the shroud is giving me move speed when moving from pack to pack
How do you get total vigor generation so high mine is only 31.5% I can’t see how you can get 100%
I'm so confused with all the variants, im using the 1st itinerance of OP (tyrael, tibaults, etc) and i dont know what i should transition to... There are too many!!!
The vigor calc tells me I have 139% vigor gen, I am unable to 100% get Kepeleke uptime 😢 idk whats wrong
Do you have the 50% roll on the midnight sun ring?
how many paragon points do i need to be consider early or mid or late game build?
Great video
Is any of this relevant for the stinger build?
Hi, can you make a pvp build for spirit dot damage.. sorceress kills everyone on the fields.. =(
What is character sheet vigor generation???
In town unbuffed how much reg do you have?
I still don't understand the need for resource cost reduction. We either use it all or none at all.
I have 44% on Ring and Buffed in fight 109% Generation and it works. According to your table, I should have 127%. How can this be explained?
Your ring gives you 44% resource back if you have 127% extra resource generation it gives you a bonus 55.8%
Adding those two, you get 99.8%
@@jocsonyou3465 ingame value is outside town with buffs up 109%. Is this the correkt value?
I mean you literally helped me go from 200k damage hits to 1 billion + without elixirs, incense etc. in 8 minutes
Why was i not subbed to you yet is truly a mystery.
Can we go back to rogue please?
Feel so dumb that I still can’t figure it out… I have so much resource gen, a max ring (50%), and the rod. And it just. Doesn’t. Work.
Good explanation but still not getting the same results, I've got a 47% ring and 128% generation according to the sheet. Should be more than enough but when I'm hitting the training dummy like that it's not doing nearly as much, only procing every third hit. Still pretty powerful overall but there's something else not figured in here.
great tool. thanks
This rod and technique seems to be the only way to run a viable ToD build. There seems to be NO WAY to leverage the Crazed God gloves into a viable T4 ToD build using this build path. Any suggestions?
Thanks for that explanation, I am so tired of hearing. I'm low on mana, Mana is low, I have no mana. I had all the gear you spoke about, so thanks, fixed.
I cant cast crushing hands without a target, is there a way to fix it? I dont want to hold shift all the time to hold position, pulverize for example works fine without a target
You can put shift to a toggle in the settings. Though for some very stupid reason this makes it so your cursor doesn't interact anymore so you'll have to constantly toggle it on and off between combat and regular play.
@@reznovvazileski3193 i dont understand what toogle means sorry, u mean bind it to another key? I also tried to macro shift+rmb but when i press it and hold it only cast once :/
My vigor is stuck at 201 how do I get it to 240? Thanks! I’m only level 190 paragon maybe that’s why.
@@pr1mu try to masterwork kepeleke staff resource affix (hopefully with GA). And I am using a resource affix on helmet too. That is helping a lot. My vigor is 297. Some people are using resourcefulness elixir which gives extra vigor and reduce cost of quill.
Thank you!!!!!!!!
yens blessing solved the 80-90% vigor only filling issue for me
I had a lousy midnight sun ring and solved resource gen with gloves with GA lucky hit resource gen :)
Sooo... why do i not have the sapping node?
Maybe you don't have enough paragon points?
@@darksaiyan2006 nah. I'm just retarded
Its not letting me use the resource calculator :(
You have to make a copy of this and add it to your own Google docs for it to work.
interesting how resource cost reduction maps to this. I have seen some builds now go full resource cost reduction instead of resource generation on ring and gloves (goblin included).
Awesome
Wudi can you solo the raid?
No, it's not possible to solo the raid.
Only Juck Norris can solo the raid
How do I use the sheet? I can't enter data..
make a local copy
pls link this build good , in your discord i not find this build
i am still curious. i know adam riese would say you need 100% resource gen to make 50% to fill your bar. but somehow blizzard math is different. it also works with my 47% with a 100% generation. i cant tell you why, i just know it works :D
I'm not understanding why put runes on your weapons instead of gems and just place the runes on gear? Wouldn't that be a huge increase in damage?
Because the amethysts in armour give barrier generation, which is the best possible damage increase for spiritborn. Much better than eg emeralds for crit damage in weapon.
Because Amethyst on armor grant Barrier Generation, and there is a paragon node that gives you tons of dmg based on how much barrier you have. Also, the dmg bonus from gems on weapons is additive, not multiplicative, so a "72% crit dmg" from emerald only gives you like 2-3% more dps
The yen's blessing is what did it for me....tried everything else......nothing...
How come you're running such low health??
This was extremely helpful!! Thanks so much - helped me out a ton.
i have a feeling this is just what i needed to know so i don't have to keep popping that stupid passive
I recover 119% of vigor with my stats but I only need 113% and still only overpowers after every other attack :(
EDIT: Nvm gang I didnt have enough vigor
Wudojo WE NEED TIME STAMPS 😭
