I can't sit by ideally here and watch this calling yourself a loser .I've been a diablo fan since d1 on pc I've never understood further in-depth builds yadda yadda.....and I'm not normally one to sit and watch others play but the amount of information I've learned since starting to watch your channel 2 months ago is incredible . man the effort and time you put into the knowledge you offer here........definitely not a loser bro fix that ! =p
@cgerman Raxx put it into terms everyone and all ages will understand very easily. He is to diablo what Neil degrass Tyson is to physics. Neil explains tough things in easy yo understand ways. Raxx you made diablo understandable. I personally have issues when it comes to comprehending things easily because I was hit by a drunk driver. Things don't come easily like they used to and thanks to RAXX I can comfortably play my favorite game without error and enjoy it again. Thanks so much.
I don't know how everyone is running out of rawhide? I've never dropped lower than 15k and I've been playing just a few hours everyday.. I just mass dismantle everything that's not crucial.
The thing I like about Raxx guides is that he doesn't assume you know anything. So many other diablo guides assume we've been playing ARPGs for 20 years.
I didn't even think about it. I don't think I would've cared about another uber boss. Unless they were like Duriel/Andariel, key character in the lore. We got enough bosses

I did this for the mythic chest for my build. I was so happy after never getting a mythic as a drop before. 2 days later maxroll changed the build and the mythic to a hat...which I don't have. Back to the grind I guess. Thanks for the guide, Raxx!

Oh man I salvaged a ga hp shako yesterday to get a spark. Then remembered hp is now the best stat this season. I was aiming to get a cdr ga, too used to last seasons barb and sorc meta haha.
I just experienced after you finish the under city quest you will then start seeing more tributes drop and all around Nahantu dungeons drop obdicite and boss mats. Now in the pits I’m getting tributes. Keep pushing yall!
@@Yeikzo trading just breaks the game - you either can grind for 500+ hours or spend 1 minute to buy best gear. And there you go - you've "beaten" the game. Playing in parties just adds extra annoying visual clutter on screen and extra headache for people who must frequently take breaks to help a wife with something for example putting the game on pause. Teammates expect you to be there.
Raxx is the goat, this'll help me greatly when I get home from work later, especially the rune farming bit. I wondered if the legendary runes could come from the tribs or not, my friends and I been hoarding them 😂
Raxx could you please ask the devs about Scroll of Escape. They are pretty much nonexistent. As a hard core only player this has been a major pain for the community this season. I just lost another character to DC this season this has not been a problem since season 1. Also, this has made the new content of the Dark Citadel a very scary proposition. Thank you for your time and your down to earth content. I look forward to future videos.
The boss drop rate does stink. I have been farming them for days just because I don't have anything better to do other than that fun Legion in Nehantu. I think I accomplished my goal of farming them all except i can't get Harlequins to drop for me.
I'm not sure if he mentions it because I'm not watching the video, but if you do whispers and go to the tree. They have a chance to give you a tribute for undercity that has a higher chance of dropping mythic items at the end. In my opinion an easier way if you don't want to go kill bosses.

In the first 5 runs, I dropped 2 mythics. Then.... Nothing since. Also, boss loot drop table on maxroll is amazing. I'd love a typed in filter that maybe greys out items that don't match it or shows another way of the boss, maybe collapsing the other bosses that don't drop it. Either way, great tool
I have gotten three mythics from world drops. The first from a random pit run in season 4 gave a Tyrael’s, a reputation cache in season 5 gave a Shako and gambling gloves in season 6 gave an Andariel’s.
I disagree about the runes dropping. I've played more then I'd like to admit and have 90% less runes then you do. I heard similar advice early in the season but I only had 1 legendary rune in my inventory, under 100mil gold (so no trading). Did a second character, got to 230 paragon, got to a grand total of 4 different legendary runes... decided to use blacksmith for the random mythic. I used up all my rune tributes and upgrading the lower ones. Bad rng is rng. But I get a feeling there is something more going on... Edit: my opinion is the only way is to group-up/clan-up and just do duriel for many hours; or rune group rune tribute for hours. That's not fun for me, but I know it works.
Question 1 - What's the % in Torment 1 for Ancestral drops? I'm around paragon 90 and so far I've had 5. Question 2 - To clear The Pit 35, do I need to upgrade all my items at least 4 times? Or is it more tied to resistances ? Both ?
I want to be excited for this, but honestly I play a sorc and it has been a struggle! I just got ro T3 and have been playing the whole XPac...doesnt feel that great overall. I guess I just wait until next season, I am tired of grinding and getting very little for it. Great videos btw, keep it up.
I killed Lilith for the first time this season and finished the season journey for the first time this season. They've definitely made these easier because we are still early in the season. Still no mythic uniques this season so I guess that is harder this season.
I wish ladder bosses were more like Uber Tristrum. Difficult to farm keys, difficult organ bosses, difficult final fight in Tristrum but a guaranteed drop. It would bring more hype to getting boss mats and fighting the bosses would be novel with an economy around it
It's simple to explain but not so easy in practice. For anyone who doesn't play all day getting a Mythic Unique with either method is extremely random and time consuming. Even the Sparks, you talk about finishing the season journey as it was so simple. Also, not everyone is playing seasonal characters, Eternals are affected as well. Either way, getting Mythics and/or specific runes is extremely hard and time consuming for average players.
The under city is great the worst part is getting lucky enough to drop the correct offering in the first place I’ve only had a few of the boss mats offering
I seriously have no issues with mythics being "harder" to access. last season was fun but dropping mythics in that constant stream it became less special and less meaningful. This season its forced me to figure out other solutions to the gaps of mythics, its made me explore the paragon board, its made me revisit uniques that I've ignored before because I didn't have the magic wand called tyraels might to solve all my resistance issues. Will I hate it if I eventually get my mythic? no. but i'm glad that we're on this route. I hope D4 builds more on an economy of scarcity. I'm a casual, i'm having fun even without being overpowered.
I found Selig twice, salvaged them, then used the sparks and some others that I had to get a random one from the blacksmith. I ended up getting Selig 3 more times from him. :\ In the end, I managed to farm the runes to make Tyraels. I haven't been so lucky farming runes for a Shako though.
So far the only mythic unique I've got is Heir of Perdition. I needed it and Starless skies to try the maxroll stinger build, right after I finished checking what I needed to craft them I went to kill the beast in ice for a whisper, and it dropped for me. Feels like all the bad luck I had up to then was just meant to be.
i wish instead of messing with tons of materials we could simply farm fun content. very unfun to waste half your playtime with ui clicking and boring, repetetive farming while the item system is still trash. i mean, 750 or 800 items, nothing else or exciting, it's always salvage 750 and check 800.
I really hope in the future they will expand runes in to actually rune words items, and they don't have to change nothing. Just give us the feeling from d2, have blue or yellow items drops with certain amount of sockets. and when you put runes inside you get rune word item. Its simple as that, that way they don't have to get rid of blue or yellow items, they can be useful for rune words, and they can still use two rune system for the legendary and unique items as it is now.
i really hope the craftingis improved you can definetly craft runes but it being random random sucks, they should do it more like diablo 2 where you need 3 specific runes to upgrade to the next one. such a better system for knowing what you need to grind towards.
Blue runes are harder to get than legendary ones. I was a noob early on last week and threw away my blue ones cause I had no more space to pick up legendary ones 😂
Which is another dumb thing every thing in this game should be able to be 1 shot if ur able to do it... I hate immune phases in any video game it just makes the fight boring and drawn out. Just let me 1 shot them and get on with my life of I'm that Powerful smh. I was hoping this season was gonna be good its actually 1 of the worst seasons ive played so far sadly. Although it seems like the power curve from t3 to t4 is scaled to spiritborn power levels instead of the realistic numbers every other class can hit. I’ve gotten each class to t3/t4 and spiritborn I was able to do t3 pits on dog shit gear no aspects no glyphs. The only class that came second to that being naked was Druid which surprised me lmao
I play casually, only have like 180 paragon, and have 4 mythic uniques in my bank. none of which the build I have use, and 2 shards. The runes are the part that is slower for me so far. I know I have gotten incredibly lucky on the uniques, so tips on getting the runes will help.

Honestly I've been having harder getting my affixes in the codex because the boss is no longer drop. Legendaries and hordes doesn't give you enough. Pit doesn't give you enough. Hell tides okay but honestly I found that nightmare dungeons are the best for your affixes
Guess I have been lucky then. I haven't done 1000 bosses yet and I have had a Shattered Vow drop as my first mythic earlier from Varshan, then another Perdition dropped from a boss I can't remember. Last night I farmed tormented bosses for like 3 to 4 hours and in the first 2.5 hours I got only another perdition to drop (this was doing Varshan, Beast, Grig, Zir and Duriel to go through mats using party finder). Then I swapped to Andy runs and have 4 drop after running 11 rota rounds (so 44 kills). 4 Mythics dropped (Andariels, Melted Heart, and two Starless Skies). It was a weird night.
Did some napkin math for peeps. For the average player you will kill 100-200 bosses to get one mythic and those will not drop enough runes for you to craft the one you want. 300-400 kills for that without trading. Approx 10 boss kills in 15 mins with party finding.Have fun lol
Honestly just farm whispers and get boss mats , and the rare unique tribute and do the karaust undercity on t4 and get 2 ubers ez. And if you fail well you already have the boss mats to try.
Not related, but are any of your cosmetics or trophies missing ever since VoH? My Diadem of the Ancient is gone, as well as my Blood Maiden's Mantle. It seems to be affecting a few people on the forums, but it doesn't seem high priority.
Raxx, what do you mean by "moving them back and forth" at 9:55? When you reforge, the exchange rate is 3:1. Every time you reforge, you use 3 runes end up with only 1 rune, so this method is not only "not efficient", it should be completely avoided.
Now make a video on how someone can make enough rawhide/iron chunks to last more than 2 minutes of trying to hit a a double masterworking crit. I farmed basic mats for 3 hours last night and blew it all in less than 2 minutes trying to get a double crit on life on my legs....welcome to season 6: The Season of Scarcity
I don't know if it's still in the game but for console if you are doing undercities in groups neither the group leader nor the group member getting anything at all at the end of the dungeon. No rewards just thin air
Wife got a tyraels after i told her it was possible. She filled her inventory twice and bam, there it was. Don't get me wrong, the Chance is incredibly low to happen.
i cannot get mythics to drop for me i must be hundreds of bosses into T4 and im just stuck with a jacinth the rates are through the FLOOR what happened to this i thought T4 was meant to be rewarding not the minimum possible to get anything

I got shako while gambling for gloves. It low key blew my mind. I thought i had bugged the game somehow. But apparently you can get any mythic by gambling any item type. Edit: i got 3 mythics off my first 300 kills. Then 3 more in 45 kills.
I did not get a spark for killing uber lilith on T3. Some people in the forum said you would have to kill her on T4, only then would you get the spark. Are you sure it is only T1? Because if yes, it's a another bug.
I'm waiting for how to get the "ancestral aspects" video... because after playing 12-18h every day since the expansion launched...I have 3 aspects and not the ones I need 😢
I must be the most lucky person on the planet (irony). I've runned hundreds off Duriels and didn't got a single Mythic, but i got 2 out of Varshan and Zir, in less than 50 runs each
I got a Heir of Perdition to drop from a infernal hordes chest 🎃 then I was so focused on farming the dumb runes to craft my Tyrael’s I was shocked when it dropped from Duriel 😂 now I have one less goal to work towards 😅 and my KekW still sucks

Agreed! Runes like Lith you are lucky to see one or 2 playing the game like a full time job. The Rune cost should be dropped from 6 to 2 of each type.

Finally got enough runes to craft a shroud and of course it got ga on the stealth damage. I’m not even surprised anymore.

Doing bosses in groups for example vs solo gives you 4x the kills for example

Soar is a big help with Lilith wheb she breaks part of the island off.

D4 needs SSF mode to become a truly good game. For example, I HATE interacting with other people in ARPG. Pretty sure I'm not the only one.

Y the drop chance is too low
2-3 % would be alright but it's 1 % or something maybe even lower than that

You could also use diablo4.life/tools/target-farming, there you can search for what you want and only get that result, even choose multiple.
I’ve been crazy lucky, 3 mythics, first was a sword, then I got a Tyrials and Harlequin. Perfect for my Sorc

This season its forced me to figure out other solutions to the gaps of mythics, its made me explore the paragon board, its made me revisit uniques that I've ignored before because I didn't have the magic wand called tyraels might to solve all my resistance issues.
Will I hate it if I eventually get my mythic? no. but i'm glad that we're on this route. I hope D4 builds more on an economy of scarcity. I'm a casual, i'm having fun even without being overpowered.
Can we pleeeeease get a built in system for trading. Current setup is so painful
I found Selig twice, salvaged them, then used the sparks and some others that I had to get a random one from the blacksmith. I ended up getting Selig 3 more times from him. :\ In the end, I managed to farm the runes to make Tyraels. I haven't been so lucky farming runes for a Shako though.
So far the only mythic unique I've got is Heir of Perdition. I needed it and Starless skies to try the maxroll stinger build, right after I finished checking what I needed to craft them I went to kill the beast in ice for a whisper, and it dropped for me. Feels like all the bad luck I had up to then was just meant to be.
i wish instead of messing with tons of materials we could simply farm fun content. very unfun to waste half your playtime with ui clicking and boring, repetetive farming while the item system is still trash. i mean, 750 or 800 items, nothing else or exciting, it's always salvage 750 and check 800.

I really hope in the future they will expand runes in to actually rune words items, and they don't have to change nothing. Just give us the feeling from d2, have blue or yellow items drops with certain amount of sockets. and when you put runes inside you get rune word item. Its simple as that, that way they don't have to get rid of blue or yellow items, they can be useful for rune words, and they can still use two rune system for the legendary and unique items as it is now.
i really hope the craftingis improved you can definetly craft runes but it being random random sucks, they should do it more like diablo 2 where you need 3 specific runes to upgrade to the next one. such a better system for knowing what you need to grind towards.

Blue runes are harder to get than legendary ones. I was a noob early on last week and threw away my blue ones cause I had no more space to pick up legendary ones 😂

Lilith isn't 1 shottable btw. She will be immune at 1 hp in p2 and the fight forces you to do the mechanics for a while

Which is another dumb thing every thing in this game should be able to be 1 shot if ur able to do it... I hate immune phases in any video game it just makes the fight boring and drawn out. Just let me 1 shot them and get on with my life of I'm that Powerful smh. I was hoping this season was gonna be good its actually 1 of the worst seasons ive played so far sadly. So many of the changes were unnecessary.
@@subzero308 I agree with some points but the season is far from the worst. Although it seems like the power curve from t3 to t4 is scaled to spiritborn power levels instead of the realistic numbers every other class can hit. I’ve gotten each class to t3/t4 and spiritborn I was able to do t3 pits on dog shit gear no aspects no glyphs. The only class that came second to that being naked was Druid which surprised me lmao
I play casually, only have like 180 paragon, and have 4 mythic uniques in my bank. none of which the build I have use, and 2 shards. The runes are the part that is slower for me so far. I know I have gotten incredibly lucky on the uniques, so tips on getting the runes will help.
You missed the Tribute of Ascendance for undercity. Many people got their Mythics this way, at least I've seen several on reddit in the past few days.

The trick is getting one to drop. I've only had 1 drop all season

Honestly I've been having harder getting my affixes in the codex because the boss is no longer drop. Legendaries and hordes doesn't give you enough. Pit doesn't give you enough. Hell tides okay but honestly I found that nightmare dungeons are the best for your affixes
Guess I have been lucky then. I haven't done 1000 bosses yet and I have had a Shattered Vow drop as my first mythic earlier from Varshan, then another Perdition dropped from a boss I can't remember. Last night I farmed tormented bosses for like 3 to 4 hours and in the first 2.5 hours I got only another perdition to drop (this was doing Varshan, Beast, Grig, Zir and Duriel to go through mats using party finder). Then I swapped to Andy runs and have 4 drop after running 11 rota rounds (so 44 kills). 4 Mythics dropped (Andariels, Melted Heart, and two Starless Skies). It was a weird night.
We farmed T4 Duriel for 6 hours yesterday morning. 4 mythics dropped. We did 5 runs and sell non stop,
Thats a horrible drop rate smh... This season is garbage.
I did 10 duriels on t2 yesterday and got 2 lol. Go down to lower tier and tell me I'm on to something here..

I'm so sick of having to do the same endless boss rota's every season and now they're even more important since runes drop there.
Did some napkin math for peeps. For the average player you will kill 100-200 bosses to get one mythic and those will not drop enough runes for you to craft the one you want. 300-400 kills for that without trading. Approx 10 boss kills in 15 mins with party finding.Have fun lol

Last season I tried many many runs with zero drops. I've played many seasons and only last learned they existed.

Honestly just farm whispers and get boss mats , and the rare unique tribute and do the karaust undercity on t4 and get 2 ubers ez.
And if you fail well you already have the boss mats to try.
Not related, but are any of your cosmetics or trophies missing ever since VoH? My Diadem of the Ancient is gone, as well as my Blood Maiden's Mantle. It seems to be affecting a few people on the forums, but it doesn't seem high priority.
The drop rates for mythic drops this season is the lowest compared to to last season.

Raxx, what do you mean by "moving them back and forth" at 9:55? When you reforge, the exchange rate is 3:1. Every time you reforge, you use 3 runes end up with only 1 rune, so this method is not only "not efficient", it should be completely avoided.
He's talking about trying to level up the lower tier runes to a legendary.

Someone in my clan gifted us T4 andariel runs and I got melted heart of selig and shroud of false death after 15 kills, pretty lucky.
Now make a video on how someone can make enough rawhide/iron chunks to last more than 2 minutes of trying to hit a a double masterworking crit.

I don't know if it's still in the game but for console if you are doing undercities in groups neither the group leader nor the group member getting anything at all at the end of the dungeon. No rewards just thin air
Outside of getting the 2 sparks mentioned. Is the only other way to get sparks salvaging mythics?
Me and my 2 pals farmed alot with no luck for mythic uniques . We popped the equipment potion and our odds went up SIGNIFICANTLY.

Wife got a tyraels after i told her it was possible. She filled her inventory twice and bam, there it was. Don't get me wrong, the Chance is incredibly low to happen.
Happened to me, gambling for a quarterstaff. Got the Spiritborn Mythic but I can't find a use for it sadly.
Really, the expansion is really good, anybody interested in playing the game should absolutely buy it.
Does torment level significantly affect Kurast Undercity rewards? Will it be okay to run them to get runes while at Torment 1 or 2?

Torment levels don't effect quality, just quantity
i cannot get mythics to drop for me i must be hundreds of bosses into T4 and im just stuck with a jacinth the rates are through the FLOOR what happened to this i thought T4 was meant to be rewarding not the minimum possible to get anything

This season is garbage and these changes r so bad... T3 and T4 r pointless imo... T3 and T4 should be Ancestral gear only... Def in T4 atleast.. Cause I get the same garbage gear I have been gettin in T1 and T2 smh... There's no difference at all other then "the drop rate is supposed to be better in T3 and T4"

I got shako while gambling for gloves. It low key blew my mind. I thought i had bugged the game somehow. But apparently you can get any mythic by gambling any item type.
Edit: i got 3 mythics off my first 300 kills. Then 3 more in 45 kills.
I did not get a spark for killing uber lilith on T3. Some people in the forum said you would have to kill her on T4, only then would you get the spark. Are you sure it is only T1? Because if yes, it's a another bug.
I'm waiting for how to get the "ancestral aspects" video... because after playing 12-18h every day since the expansion launched...I have 3 aspects and not the ones I need 😢

I got a Heir of Perdition to drop from a infernal hordes chest 🎃 then I was so focused on farming the dumb runes to craft my Tyrael’s I was shocked when it dropped from Duriel 😂 now I have one less goal to work towards 😅 and my KekW still sucks
