420 fps is nice. This looks really good and has the potential to replace my Steambow Stinger 2 if I were to add the magazine and stock. Only thing I'd like to see is for the magazine to take broadheads and bodkins. Love what you're doing with the Ballista.
Way way more, i bought the redback over the refback xr for my first crossbow, and im glad i did, i may only have one shot st a time, but either im weak as shit or the things way to hard to cock without using the floor or your leg/foot etc to get nire leversge, i dont see hiw you could do that first, and id rather have one shot eith a cobra r9 bladed brosdhead, over 8 shots eith field tips made from plastic🧐
Jorge pretty much changed the crossbow game. There’s great ones like this, siege, interceptor but i still like the cobra adder. Since i disabled the safety its more tactical now. Interceptor though probably has the best magazine tho
I can't see any problem in putting a longer handle on this Model , And if the owner wants to remove the two screws and change the handle out to a shorter on that would be up to them ! What do you think ?
Just got mine today planning on cutting off the front to accommodate the other bolts from ballista so I can fire heavy ones also the ones included were 125grains when I weighed them which is funny bc the warning on box says never to shoot below 140..
Hello Dan, I just got my reverse w/magazine and I'm trying to figure out how to modify my magazine so I could shoot there regular size arrows w/botkin tips. Can you give me an advice. Thanks, Did your idea work?
Which set up worked for you after cutting off the front of the magazine? Which arrows can you use in the magazine with the broadheads? I'll appreciate very your advice. I'll love to do the same.
I notice the vanes on there 12.8 bolts are a little different than the bolts that come with the magazine. Do these 12.8 fit in the magazine or do you have to cut them to size?
@@peyugo2510I had to cut magazine in two pieces a front part which is about 2 inches or so to hold bolts tight. Then the back part in which I had to cut far enough back to accommodate the other bolts bc veins/fletching were bigger and longer. Lastly I sanded out just enough in the back part of the magazine so the bigger knocking of the bolts would fit as well. It still holds down bolts well and if you wanted to add a flat Broadhead you could as well.
Given this is now semi automatic I wonder will you eventually allow it to not auto activate the safety every time or disable it entirely? Might make it more fun. Thanks
Maybe instead of redesigning the magazine, do some research and figure out how to modify the arrows so they compress down to the size of a practice arrow (when in the magazine) and then spread out into a broadhead upon impact. Problem solved. You're welcome. ;)
Hello .Are you planning to produce new, heavier arrows or hotel heavy inserts for them? I understand that the feature of the multi-charge form factor imposes certain restrictions on the arrow concept. But in the way it is implemented now, it is not quite right from the point of view of the durability of the crossbow. A VERY light dart. For those who go out to shoot bottles a couple of times a year, the shoulder crossbow is enough, but the long-term use of a crossbow implies the use of a heavier arrow. But the shot is much louder than that of the older block brothers - the bowstring is far away hits the bolt, plus the low weight of the arrow- these two factors give a semi-hollow shot. Have the crossbow been tested with real bolts in endurance mode? How many shots do you need to make to have microcracks on your shoulders? I will add that light arrows do not bow precisely at the target, the accuracy of this is low- physics, it cannot be deceived. Plus, the power of the crossbow is enough to drive darts from 20 meters to the very feathers in 20 cm into an isolon target. The feathers deform, the accuracy subsequently decreases even more. Thanks.
I really want to modify my magazine, to be able to shoot longer 13" bolts with fixed 2 sided broad head tips. Please HELP. I take full responsability. 🙏
@@ballista.archery I hear there is a legend of the remote German 'laughing' Bear that lives somewhere out in the dark misty forests of Bavaria that may be able to assist with a magazine for both this and the reverse bat? ( what have you got to lose? )
Magazines are common on crossbows , there are many 3d print designs even, all better than this that only takes non standard bolts and blocks the red dot sight rail when that's the sight most will use . Shame.
This is like most I think, msg only fit their own bow. I know folk who print mags and bows but they dismiss this as poor quality and nobody seems interested. Jorg Sprave told me his ate strings and fell apart but as he sells other products ..might be just exaggerating.
@@WhySoSerious551still no good, only takes those plastic field tip bolts they make, nothing else, i have the standard redback and can shoot some nastyyy bolts out of it, bolts that are sharper than any knife ive handled, and shaped in such a way that if they dont pass all the way through you, pulling them out would do at least the same amount of damage as the bolt did on the way in / on impact....its also super hard to cock despite fhe ",low" poundage, so the magazine really only limits you, for a higher price n all, makes no logocal sense
The mag needs to be able to accept broadheads
Just bought and arrived tomorrow, can’t wait!!!!
How is it?

Thanks! Will note that for the future upgrades!
On the site it's not obvious how to actually buy this, or the arrow differences he mentions.
If the company were to make the magazine fit broad heads and bodkin tips, you would sell a lot more.

I was hoping the magazine fit the standard balista will yall be makeing one for it or only the reverse
Unfortunately, we don`t sell magazine separately from the BAT Reverse. I`m very sorry.
That's okay one more question can the ballista bat shoot 7.5 inch crosbow pistol arrows
That looks very interesting! Are they available in Europe / Germany too?

Where is the link to buy it?

That would be great.. but you probably have a bunch of idiots filing lawsuits

Small rubber bands like those used for braces
Keeping consistent pressure on the arrow on the rail probably requires a different magazine type imo
I'm sold
So ur bringing the magazine back?

@@ballista.archeryis there an update? Can this shoot broadheads?

Is that thing legal in Canada? Pistol crossbows appear to be illegal in Canada.

Is there a suitable sniper rifle to match the magazine?
What's the link for the exact bolts that fit? My Dad passed away, but he used to make arrows easily.
Only the standard target (practice) bolts will work with the magazine

Can I put a stock on it?
yes
Can you still use it for bow fishing?
no
Is the magazine sold separately cause I already have the bow
Same here. When you buy the bow package, it says its included in the description but its not!
They're vague on why the magazine won't fit old reverse-draw models. Surely they can make that happen?
Let me know when that magazine can hold broadheads and I will buy it. :)
I want to know why this 10.5″ bolt "NOT" Compatible with standard Bat Reverse.
They were made for the magazine exclusively. They are too narrow and short for the standard Reverse.
Would still be good for small game
no, as magazine is compatible only with standard practice bolts.
Wish it took the sting bolts!
Cool. But VERY expensive
STOKEEE just slap on a thermal and youve got a mignight rabbit hunter that wont spook the general public.
Imagine if daryl dixon had one of these
Give Joerg Sprave credit where it is due
Shame you can't add this to just a bat reverse
You're left eye dominant. Close your left eye and you'll be more accurate.
I consider you as VERY unprofessional to present a product !!!

I'm hoping somebody will make a open-design mag with the ability to speed load. Notice how he had to speed up the video when he was loading?
Got a link to one that would fit?
