That looks like a ton of fun. That cocking mechanism also makes crossbows more attractive because dowing the whole bow draw with the foot holding the crossbow thing just breaks the shooting flow I'd want in a practice session.

This is incredible! I know you have done a lot with drill powered crossbows. Have you looked at putting a geared down drone motor and battery on the recocking mechanism. It may be lighter weight than the cocking arm. Wonderful to see how far you have come from plywood prototypes!

It is ready for production now, I should get my sample tomorrow. 11 months after the first handmade prototype, not so bad. They just were a bit optimistic.

your next upgrade should be making the bolt caddy a true magazine by making it swappable, you need to redesign how the sight is mounted or separate that from the caddy so you can have the magazine just forward of it. It will be nice to see a rapid reload so you could have different magazines loaded with different bolts or patterns of bolts like you get with firearms.

I'm just saying from my experience, I've broken a V2 magazine (which I've already replaced) and my front Picatinny rail where the vertical foregrip is mounted. So now I'll have to buy the upgrade kit. And you know I'll have to get that 18 bolt magazine 😁

It’s too much fun, what I hate is that the bolts for the adder are just made to be destroyed, so found cheap ones on amazon, which are actually good quality.

I'm hoping the new folding stock piece will also fix the shackley Siege AR Stock, but I doubt it.. It's like a rattle Trap now...Lol.. P/S.. I'm seeing that it is that "push in Pin" with the hole drilled in it is what is making it so shackley & I believe it needs a NEW way to connect too the crossbow body ( maybe "3" pins used instead of 1) so the folding stock piece probably want be any better until a more secure way is used to connect it. (Just My Opinion), but 3 Studs would make it much more sturdy...... Thanks again.. P/S/S.. I fixed mine so it is tight a hell. I used a Piece if thin rubber, cut it to the size with the 1 square and 1 round pin, placed it on and put it back together and pushed outer pin back into place, NO More Rattling AT ALL.. People can make this themselves or either sell them a very thin shem to put between where the stock mounts to the Crossbow.. You'll Be Glad You Did.. NNow I believe the folding stock Adapter will work Very Well..

I’m very interested in this as an American sailor. Depending on laws, this could allow for viable self-defense on yachts without having to deal with gun laws, I believe crossbows are legal in almost every country
I've been looking into getting a crossbow for some hobby shooting, a couple of friends have air rifles so i think it would be fun to get something different. I've been drawn to the Adder but its out of my price range. So i have been looking at a standard Cobra R9 (without the magazine). I could probably stretch my budget to the RX and skimp on a target. And it would save money over upgrading the limb for more power. Would i be able to upgrade it to a "full adder" later by simply buying the 7 shot magazine or would i have to do anything else to it?
hi there, i recieved my Adder this morning with the 2.0 upgrades. also i installed the venom extreme limb.. very very pleased with my purchase. even though i have it maxed out (8 twists per side) i am still able to sit with a little table and bi-pod despite being disabled i am able to spend half an hour now and then hunting coconuts..😉 ps, does anyone know where i can purchase the laser that slots in to the front of the V2 7 shot mag? regards peter,

Is there a reason you haven't made limbs like the siege? I think we all like the slim ones that would be for the adder.
You really need your make detachable magazines next to actually reload it. Obviously make the scope mount separate
