Im familiar with ballista and know they can be used for big game hunting but they are limited in that field..from a hunters stand point there are much better options on the market in the same price range that can shoot over 400 fps..dont get me wrong im a fan of ballista i love the reverse bat model..if they upgraded the limbs to 200 lbs or slightly more and give hunters extended range, i myself would buy this in a heartbeat to replace my primary..due for many factors, main 1 is the compactness and mobility for versitle hunting in either ground or tree blinds..ballista has a great product, extend its capable performance to suit hunters and the sales will skyrocket..like i mentioned i would purchase 1 quick..this looks perfect for small game..i know it will take big game if you stay in its limitations of 25 yards and under with good shot placement..

What’s this crossbow?

I have an Excalibur Axiom crossbow that uses traditional recurve limbs. I like it, it's reliable and easy to re-string, but slow and the limbs are huge. Something smaller makes a lot of sense. Thanks.
