As absolutely expected, your finished products are adorable. My favorite one is the one you stitched first. Oh, just a treasure. Thanks a lot for this tutorial. I will create a note on my calendar to book one day off at my job - close to the next long weekend and spend that day strictly on mass makes of these windows- with Sizzix, starched/glued lace and perhaps papers with scanned lace you provided for free on your website. By the way, I watched a recent video by Donna from (Junk Journal Ideas channel) named ‘Junk journal for beginners using nothing but FREE Printables where she made a cute book with several pages from your papers. That reminded me that I have some as well. To cure excessive shine on lace treated with glue I personally will try brushing on top diluted white acrylic paint.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for the nice comment. I will look for the video you mentioned, I’m curious to see that book 😊. Thanks for letting me know ❤️❤️❤️
Hey you, thank you really much for all the cool and wunderful Freebies! I am really thankful and happy with it! Thank you very, very much! I love your Videos too!! Best greetings to you!❤
I was thinking yesterday would be great for my Mom to make. She is a quilter and always takes a photo of every quilt as a reminder. She could put a couple scraps of the fabric from each quilt in the opening and tab, the write on the card who she made it for and when. So many possibilities!! What a great way to preserve and use antique laces passed down too❤❤❤
I made homemade clear gesso and it works perfect for normal gesso uses, so I will try it on this project & see if it works well. If it does, it would be cheaper than buying clear g3sso or buying the starch. Just do a google search for the clear gesso recipe---it's simple & cheap. I love it for deglossing paper.
Again, being a painter, I would use spray varnish. I use it on most of my journal covers, especially when I've used painted tissue paper. Spray varnish lasts for a long time.
wonderful project. I was only able to find spray starch when I was looking for it a few months ago and read that someone diluted the white glue to starch the collars on her husbands shirts. I've tried it and it works well. I never have searched for liquid starch and will see if any is available locally. I was using powdered starch before. 250ml of water with one tablespoon of glue

What is that cutting machine. I never saw anything like that. Makes it so easy to cut shapes.
