You are amazing. I have been doing art for 30 years and I am so inspired by you and your ideas. I've always used my expired/old cards for texture tools on a gelli plate or abstract paintings. But these are really wonderful works of art that cost money if you buy them made out of metal. Loved the way you use different types of products to achieve unique looks. Your art studio must be as full as mine! LOL I do not do junk journals, but subscribed because you have great ideas that maximize art supplies. Thanks for experimenting and finding the recipe for these charms.
Oh wow! You are most welcome! I'm really happy to know that you got inspired! That's so awesome! My studio is small and filled to the brim with supplies I've been collecting for years ("hoarding" would be more appropriate word😆) I didn't do a new painting in over 10 years and yet I keep buying paint and canvases all the time. Since I discovered junk journals, my motivation has come back big time. I see it a as mixed media art that allows me to do many different techniques all in one, that's why I love it so much. Thank you so much for watching and for leaving me this inspiring comment! Love it! ❤️😊
This is an incredible video! First of all it's such a creative idea, to use old plastic cards for this. And all the time you put into trying different paints and designs, and then so nicely displayed. You were so prepared and the instructions are so clear! I'm going to save my plastic cards!
Wow, thank you so much for this beautiful comment! I'm really glad you enjoyed the video and got inspired. It makes all the work I put into it so worthwhile. ❤️❤️❤️
I can't express my gratitude 🎉 enough for opening my eyes to a whole new way to recycle and be crafty. ❤ I can't wait to dive in and put my own spin on those Fascinating plastic charms. (( I would've never known something at home We always throw away could be reused to Bless someone with, ❤.)) TY for sharing 🎉
You can probably glue the images using acrylic gel medium. It's water based, so no smell, but dries hard like acrylic glue. It also serves to protect the surface of the image or the rust metal painted on the back.
A year down the road and I just recently watched this tutorial even though I have been subscribed to your channel for ages lol! I absolutely love what you have done. Been very busy the last few days making these charms and having so much fun! Thank you for being such an inspiration Dragana ❤
The charms are lovely. Thanks for putting in all that work to show the many ways these can be made. Its frustrating when you already have so many supplies but then find out you have to find the supplies used in the video. ❤
Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you create all these beautiful and wonderful pieces. I’m extremely excited about trying these out. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤❤ 😊

Thank you for this idea. I get these cards offering credit deals in the mail all of the time. Also one of my injectable meds has a firm card in each box. I've saved all them. They will work good for these. In afdition every year I get a new U card.
This is one of my favorite video. I learned to make charms and other things. I watch this video over and over. Thank you for expanding my art mind. You create beautiful art work and I admire your crafts.
Incredible video. After sanding items down I’d use a little bit of alcohol to remove sanding dust..I do this even when I work with wood to prep before I do any type of painting, varnish or acrylic

Anyway, when you were also suggested to me by the RUclips algorithm I figured I’m supposed to be watching you. 😊 Both of your videos on making charms are amazing! Your tutorials are well done and your English is better than some of my US neighbors. I have my notification bell set to “all “so I don’t miss your uploads and I’ll be watching your older videos, too. I love artists that recycle!! ❤ ♻️ 🌍
I'm glad you decided to watch and subscribe. You probably heard about me from Treasure Books, Natasha did a flip through of my journal a while ago. I didn't have a RUclips channel at the time. I love to recycle, and apply this to art. It's just so much fun. Oh, my English, I'm working on improving all the time. It's not easy if you only speak to yourself in the video. I suppose, as long as people understand me, it should be ok. Thanks so much for the kind comment. I appreciate it 😊❤️

TYSaacibo... I watched u several years ago but never quite got it. Now something clicked and I just went for it! I'll try to share the pic. I wanted to make sure I gave u the credit for this beautiful piece. I'm attaching it to a junk journal for my cousin. The outcome was amazing even before I put on the unicorn!
Thank you for the free download. I am new to junk journaling, maybe a month in, I have few supplies, so to be able to receive this gift is quite special.🌷

These were all lovely. And, a lot of fun. And, you made it look so easy. I wondered if you could, maybe, use fingernail clippers for rounding the corners. And, try an emery board for filing instead of the block sander. It's a bit smaller and easier to handle.

@@Saacibo that's all what getting creative is about. Seeing 1 thing then seeing it being used in 10 ways. I made myself a really pretty raspberry red shirt. First day I wore it into the office I oopsed and the White Out fluid brush went into the air from my fingers, twirling & spinning onto the left side of the buttons, and too high to cover with a pocket. It took about a week to come up with a solution. I appliqued a sunflower with dark brown center with swirls of lighter brown and all the separate & overlapping petals in different fabrics of yellow to gold. Then the center I sewed brown buttons from my button jars (7 big peanut butter jars) as to liken sunflower seeds. I had so many compliments on that shirt, especially after starting work at the local JoAnn Fabrics & Crafts. I've said since I was about 10 years old that "Oops is the starting point for creativity jump in." Lol Mom just looked at me, asked "Did you just think of that?"
