A jet-ski accident causes traumatic injury to Kristin’s brain and spinal cord. After waking from a coma, 15-year-old Kristin struggles to cope with paralysis, fit in with her peers, and find new purpose. Her determination to thrive leads her into new and challenging opportunities.

My husband became paraplegic 2 years ago our blood family never supported us in any way, but our church family was always there for us. God would never hurt his kids, It was satan that did it

As an absolute loner I wonder how would cope with this situation.
I am so glad you found your opportunity to shine and inspire others!!! You may not realize it but you greatly inspire those of us who may not have physical disabilities but are learning to overcome the stigma of emotional and mental illnesses which can be just as daunting...dangerous and life altering as a physical disability... though it seldom gets the correct combination of doctor medication and therapy... thankfully I am a success story....and you are an inspiration to me...with faith in God...we never enter the challenge alone! Thank you!🙏

Kudos. I understand your comment. For those who don't, they can't. Thirty-five years in my chair . Hit by a drunk driver.. God provided a very full life and my story's not over... I also have a lot to be thankful for. I should have died multiple times before my accident. Very outta control.. The difference between existing and living. Being a spectator and player

You "lost your friends" as a result of this accident????? What kind of "friends" were these???? Real friends don't leave over injury. Of everything that happened to you, that upset me the most. Your friends left you.
Realistically, if she had the actual choice to walk again, she would.
But she will never walk again, so it's like getting credit for a hypothetical situation. Seems contrived & possibly a martyr trip(?)

You LOST friends because you became paralyzed? Not much of a real friend they were. Tell them that to their face.
Also real friends start to avoid you, when you are walking on crutches after a knee surgery, because they are afraid, you could ask them for help.

Wow, you are so beautiful in Christ! You make me happy. You have the wisdom of God, which is Jesus Christ. All of the chips aren't in yet, and who knows what lies ahead, and you have the power of prayer. God is working out in you a great glory, and a joy unspeakable. Our faith in Jesus Christ has a great reward. Even if we live to be 90 years old, this life is really just a vapor that will soon pass away and open up into the incredible eternal bliss of heaven to those who believe like you do. God said in my presence is fullness of joy, and at my right hand are pleasures for ever more. We are God's presence, although shrouded and hidden in this decaying flesh. As Paul said, the trials of this life are not even worthy to be compared to what lies just beyond. Hidden just behind the scenes is the most unimaginably wonderful fairly tale, except it actually exists in reality, because God is love and that is what love does. It's wonderful to know that you are in the best hands ever, because you are in Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.
She "loves God" (and i was always taught by the pastor that God is indifferent to you, that it's JESUS who loves you & offers to save you).... AT ANY RATE, maybe the "love of God" that people talk about is really just one's own capacity for self love being reflected back upon him/her?
