Holy F-ing Sh-- I spent hours testing apps to stream my phones video wirelessly and NONE of them compares to this easy AF web tool. NOt only that the videos I was watching were 10-15mins long... You explained in 3mins and I achieved in less than 2mins! THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I've never turned notifications on nor really ever leave comments... But for you and this video AMAZING. I can't wait to watch your other tutorials.
The perfect tutorial doesnt exis- No like for real thx so much man this is so helpful, you went straight to the point, gave excelent advice for quality and settings and plus that the overrall quality of the video is impacable...truly a perfect tutorial ❤
Hey can I just say as a professional tech communicator I so so so appreciate how concise this video is!? Absolutely no fluff, info conveyed clearly and simply, this was perfect for what I needed. And since I've been playing around with streaming lately I'm definitely subscribing, I have a huge OBS learning curve ahead of me. Thank you!
This is my first video of yours I’ve seen, just starting my own channel, and this video is actually perfect! So clear, so concise, so efficient with excellent quality. You did absolutely everything necessary and no more 👍
Thank you very much. This worked perfectly. My brother literally just said we need to buy a new expensive camera LOL. We are now just using a Galaxy S23 and it works great. Thanks for sharing.
Whoa... what a fantastic tip. This works like a charm, thank you for sharing it. Really awesome! I have combined this with my Zhiyun Smooth 4 Camera Gimbal and that makes me look super professional, as the gimbal smoothes out any shakyness but keeps the dynamic vibe of recording / streaming with the phone cam.

Well done. Clear and paced for use (even for a 75 year old) which I respect. I realize you're busy but my stumbling block has been that QR code. It's like a dead photo on my phone and can't seem to lead anywhere. I wonder if any of your readers could guide me as to what I'm doing wrong. Never used one before. Thanks and keep up the good work. Although you obviously don't need it, I subscribed anyway.
Been looking for a way to use my phone on OBS and I just took a chance by searching, never thought I could use my phone and your video is clear and to the point thanks bud 👊
This is amazing! I wanted a mobile camera for quick shares without having to deal with wires, and having an additional camera is always nice. Thank you so much!
DUDE - you frickin' ROCK, thank you!!! This was perfection....easy to follow, direct, and WORKS LIKE A CHAMP! i definitely smashed the like/follow button after this!
Thank you so much! very very helpful! I was searching for a good way to do this a year ago and gave up and bought a camera, but now I can have TWO cameras for streams!!
few questions: 1)When I connect phone camera to OBS, video output is ....vertical! I put your very same setups. My Obs video setup are 1920x1080 as you reported. So I don't understand why it shows a 9:16 format 2)Very often, when I move my phone to place it in a better position, signal breaks off and I'm not able to put it back. I have to restart with a new invite. Is there a solution? 3)I see that in few minutes, battery phone consumed a lot (I have got a new phone). It's clear that record a 20+ minutes video for my youtube channel becomes almost impossible. Do i have to recharge my phone during recording or there is a solution?
This was so helpful and very informative and detailed. Thank you so much for sharing. I’m watching in the car, but I’m hoping that later I can use this to stream from my WebCam by the way I love your eyes.
Thank you so much for your clear instructions and demonstrations. It worked right out of the gate! I have a facecam, a razer Kyro, and now my iphone as cat cams. First two are in the room with me on two spots on the cat tree; the iphone cam is in the great room where my two fur babies often lounge when not in the cat tree. I have a fourth cam (instalink360) that I use for my chibi avatar. I am very excited about this new level of production during my daily streams. You are gifted with knowledge and the skill of visual and verbal communication❣My deepest appreciation to you, LAS Curry
WOW! Thank you so much! I got it going, but now I can't seem to flip the video horizontally? The Transform option does not work - I wonder if it's because it is a link and not a hardwire input? Any suggestions how I could do this using the VDO Ninja Link? I plan to stream on RUclips. Thanks!
mine in broken or something, just stays showing the "share your camera" and "share your screen" options in obs even though my phone camera is on, i hate new obs is there a way to downgrade my version?
For anyone that cannot find advanced option, I think it got changed to Quality settings? Anyways go to target video resolution and select one (1080p (high-quality) ) for example. Do correct me if I'm wrong
Great tut. Wondering if this process needs doing each time you want to use your phone camera with OBS. Or will OBS automatically remember when you reopen the particular scene you've set it up in.
I commented earlier, but since, I have a question. Do I turn my iphone on manually prior to the stream and turn it off manually following the stream? It is hard wired to my pc through a lightening cable. Additionally, is there any way to control the zoom of the iphone from obs? Thank you.
Is it possible to do OBS from the PC while using an iPad as the camera for a zoom church call all while being on an Apple tv as the monitor? Hope u understand the question
Worked perfect when I did it the first time. When I came back to OBS later, it wasn't finding my phone. Do you have to copy the browser source link into OBS each time you want to do this? Thanks
Glad it worked and if you do close obs, and open again you may need to generate a new link so it pick up, but normally as long as you keep the tab on your phone you should be fine
Please how to get the webcam scene? I’m having issues with this. The camera feed don’t seem to come to stream lab ? But I can hear the mic. It’s frustrating. Someone please help
Your tutorial is easy to follow, however I've come across an issue (2:05) I do not seem to have the browser option *I'm using OBS Studio on Linux (idk if that makes a difference) any suggestions? Thanks for the feedback ~ **UPDATE: Issue Solved! An upgrade (from 25.0.3 to 28.0.1) was required; now the browser source option is available ~
Thanks so much! My dslr died in the middle of my stream last night and this video saved me! Super easy to set up! I back up and running in less than 10 minutes

Question: Is this setup required every time we want to get the phone working as webcam?

Thanks. It works but the last step "enable hardware acceleration" tickbox isn't visible in advanced settings in my OBS. Maybe they moved it ?

Great video thank you, one question how did you hook the phone up with the computer? USB C to USB C? Or can I do some bluetooth thingy?
No cables needed it’s all wireless when you use obs.ninja

I did all the steps correct but I just keep seeing it trying to connect on the obs but I can see the camera on my end. What am I missing?
Remove it and add it again, and make sure the source is the top layer
For anyone that cannot find advanced option, I think it got changed to Quality settings? Anyways go to target video resolution and select one (1080p (high-quality) ) for example.

is there a way to seperate the webcam on an editing software like capcut? or is there a way to seperate the webcam video from the main thing?

Thanks for the easy set up tutorial. Many thanks from the Boogie Down Bronx!
Thank you! Great tutorial.
Do you know how to get OBS to use compatible phone camera's 4K resolution?
Glad it helped! OBS should pick up the resolution you may need to change your canvas size in OBS
How can i link my device and use the device camera to capture Obs screen.?
Here learning a whole new thing. Thanks for sharing. Your new friend here from Jamaica 🇯🇲
Welcome! Glad your learning and taking action

Brilliant, easy, quick - all good 😎
Please how to get the webcam scene? I’m having issues with this. The camera feed don’t seem to come to stream lab ? But I can hear the mic. It’s frustrating. Someone please help
Make sure the image is showing on your phone, if it is not then you may have blocked access to your camera and not your mic
@@LASCurry the camera is actually on, on my phone
@@VIVAFootbol I would remove and add the link again to streamlabs, if it doesn’t work try it on OBs see if you have the same issue
@@LASCurry done that countless times
Could anyone tell me why my camera keeps freezing
"Maximum resolution" isn't available anymore. It's just 1080p, so I can't use it to use the 4k my camera is capable of
That was actually helpful. Thanks from 🇩🇪
dude, that tutorial was amazing!
Just a question how longs the reach like could I go into the next room over and film
Awesome solution! Just a little worried if there's gonna be a delay between my mic's audio and the iPhone's footage. Gonna have to test it out some.
Once I copy link how do I get pull up all them options to paste link?
Quick question, do you have to set this up once or do you need to set it up every time?
Amazing, didn't think there was time to save in my recording set up, but I didn't know about this!
This was amazing, thank you for the help and the effort!!!
Whoa very clear explanation big thanks

this is a great question
Grateful, simple and easy tutorial
Is there a way to just connect a cable and have the video from phone to show on obs?
Right? It seems like that's the way it should be, if you can do it that simply with webcam..
NICE TUTORIAL, with details. thx for sharing
