My mother inlaw has a 2004 honda accord that is black but the clearcoat is non-existing….so im gonna re clear it and put a couple teaspoons of that blue pearl in it for her…. Its gonna look like a brand new car again
Glad you’re getting some product’s sponsored! I enjoy your videos. Any chance you’ll do some lace work, maybe a few low rider panels, fades stripes. Some tricks to jazz up our crap boxes on the cheap! Love what you’re doing anyway!
Very close to the Rust-Oleum experiments I've been doing on my channel the past few months you even got a fender to do it on lol keep up the good work 😎👍
I appreciate it! 🙏 I normally spray full car paintjobs, but sometimes I stay in doubt what a certain color would've looked like. These experiments really help, not only me, but others as well! I'm glad you are doing the same, I'll check out your channel
I really like the look of this combo. It is really close to what my good friend’s 70 Camaro had. It was painted about 30 years ago, so I don’t know if this is what was used. After seeing the black and white side by side, I have an image of something like a SS Camaro or Chevelle painted white with black SS stripes and cleared coated with this pearl. Or you could do black with white stripes. I just think a really clean resto mod all white with black stripes would look awesome.
This is the exact same color/formula i painted my ‘73 c10….there is a short of it on my channel….only diffrence is i used a single stage basecoat and not a spray can….but the end result is pretty damn spot on….i did the same with my nova but with a green ghost pearl
It would be so cool to see a full car re-paint with rustoleum spray cans. Like proper prep and as much effort between coats as possible. Just to see how good it can be done and how much it would cost compared to a single stage or 2 stage and buying all the other equipment and consumables needed to spray traditionally.
Looks awesome! Giving me inspiration for lots of cars im gonna be building, ive got an idea that would probably shock allot of people but pewter base with a yellow or gold pearl! I wouldnt mind seeing a video about it either 😉 keep it up!
You do some awesome work I would love to see if you could do a electric blue or sapphire blue with black pearl that's the color I'm thinking about painting my truck thank you keep up the good work
Got here a bit late but wanted to drop a comment, I love the look of this finish. One of my all time favorites. It's understated until you see the beautiful blue pearl light up. Also white makes the vehicle appear larger and looks lighter as in it weighs less, black makes the same vehicle look smaller but weigh more as compared to white. Things that fool the eye. So in general light colors vs dark colors will do this, not just black and white. Anyone remember when all the cop cars were black and white? Why did they paint them that way?
You sprayed that sushi roll over black I'd like to see the same thing but if you only taped off the black with a couple flames and sprayed the sushi roll just on that part of the black and then cleared the whole thing over again with just clear you have answered alot of questions that I have been wondering about . Love what you do ✌️
Been a fan for awhile, finally made an account to comment. I'm looking at doing a couple full size jeep paint in two tone. One will be blue and white the other red and white. I really liked the ghost blue pearl on the white but wonder what it would look like over medium blue. Also what would the ghost red look like over white and red base coats. It will be rustoleum white, red, and blue colors in quarts.
Just found your channel and your content is great. Here’s a question I bought my son a old Pa turnpike truck and it’s that kinda safety yellow and was looking for a top coat idea to make it look great without dealing with door jams and under the hood. Wondering what pearl would get it done.
Just ordered 50g of Ghost Blue and a Gal of clear. Im aboout to have some fun. Ive got 2 mustangs Im about to do one white base and the other black base.
Couple questions in regards to the clear, would you recommend it for an inter-coat, and if not could you recommend a budget clear for intercoat thanks for the vids
What type of primer do you recommend? what black color would be a better choice... Which clear coat would be better, I have a project in mind with an Xterra 2001
This might sound like I'm coming off as rude, but.. When someone willing comes along! Meaning, willing to pay! The economy isn't the greatest right now, so everyone is broke! They want to bring me materials and the car ready to spray, so they can save some money by just paying labor. Which is understandable! But that doesn't leave me room to work with materials. What the customer saves on is what I used to buy extras with! I've even had to put off family members for wanting to pay me next to nothing. It really takes weeks of hard work, and I almost end up doing it free! And sometimes when I think I'll make it back with views.. those videos don't get viewed as much 🤷🏻♂️ but then they turn around and pay someone else $3-$4k. There is so much I have to say on this topic, but for now, let me build an audience (reputation) , and the jobs will come! 🙌
@@GTsPerformance Keep doing what you do it will pay off. Keep posting, I wish I as closer I would definitely let you paint my Mustang. It's so hard to find quality work even if you spend 3-4 thousand. I like that white and blue on that fender. It came out nice.

Love the budget minded paint jobs!!! Materials have gone insane. So it’s nice to see something less expensive.

Great job brother
Have tried smoke grey with ghost blue pearl?
how about pearl over bare metal?
That ghost blue on black looked great. My truck is white, my question is, white pearl is made to go with white? Awesome channel, giving us ideas.
Thanks for the night views. I want to see a green ghosting pearl over black. Very light coat so it may still ghost maybe? Please and thank you!

colorshift, i’m in….. 😊
Looks really great! What would it look like on yellow rustoleum as the base ? Would it change it to green or give it a blue shift in the sun?
I love it

Nice, bro! Don't forget to send me a pic so I can show the audience 🙌
If you added more pigment would the pearl effect have been stronger?
Is there a way to get the same effect of the white and blue but with black as a base?
Are you spraying clear over the mix of pearl or no. It looks real good
This guy should open up his own shop
Hey buddy I would love to see a rootbeer over Black base
Light nardo grey with a sky blue ghost pearl
Could you put this on a single stage paint job years after car has been painted? I used speedokote bright white.
Couple questions in regards to the clear, would you recommend it for an inter-coat, and if not could you recommend a budget clear for intercoat thanks for the vids
Will it still show an effect if you mix the pearl in the base coat?
Can i mix this directly into my basecoat
What type of primer do you recommend? what black color would be a better choice... Which clear coat would be better, I have a project in mind with an Xterra 2001
Your car will definitely talk for itself. Do a blend game on some pearls. Do something outrageous. Or leave it as is. It will present no problem!
What color will fit over silver silver and orange or red silver and orange how do I get the metal flakes out of the Pearl
How long do u let ur rustoleum set before u put ur pearl on it with the clear...do a pearl on ur truck
Can u spray galactic ghost blue over white brother?
What color shade of blue do you think that is a royal blue or navy blue? Also, do you have another video with a larger sample size of the blue thanks
